This is the post literally nobody asked for. Am I the only one who remembers the New York City catastrophe eight months ago?!

A while back, everyone in Manhattan fell asleep for five days straight, for absolutely no logical reason. There were numerous casualties due to stovetops left on, babies left unfed, people needing daily care not medicated, etc. When everyone woke up on August 17th, bronze statues all around the city were displaced from their pedestals and a bunch of random teenagers were fighting each other with baseball bats and firearms at the base of the Empire State Building. Hours later at around midnight on the next day, the ESB needle lit up blue.

The news called it out, but it was only broadcasted for, like, a day. Then they passed it off as a chemical fumes accident that knocked everyone out, and the bronze statues shifting places were part of a failed art stunt or something. I thought it would get more airtime considering the death toll and number of people knocked unconscious, but I guess not?!

A couple of days ago @u/Berm_Houser made a post about the NYC sleeping incident where everyone in Manhattan got knocked out for a couple of days, followed by a mob fight entirely carried out by teenagers in front of the Empire State Building.

So. I was there (I live in Brooklyn and was taking my kids to visit the ESB) and because my car was literally missing – the police said that someone probably rolled it into an alley to clear the roads – I was up until midnight hunting for it while the kids went home with their grandma.

While I was looking, I crossed this parking lot and saw three separate vans like these. And get this – one’s back was open and I saw that it was full of what honestly appeared to be (TRIGGER AHEAD) corpses. I mean they looked like the kind of thing you’d see in a medical drama, a bunch of human-sized lumps covered in cloth and laid side by side in the van, and you could tell that they’d been handled with care. The cloth covers (looked an awful lot like funeral shrouds) were silk or something and colored. Van’s floor was padded so they wouldn’t get dirty. Absolutely heartbreaking. No picture of the inside of the van out of respect.

Thoughts?

NYC government, what the actual fork?! (Sorry y’all, in case you haven’t seen the moderators’ announcement, all posts have to be censored or they’ll get taken down.)

The NYC mass sleep thing’s getting more attention on this subreddit. The most recent post on it (find it here) absolutely shattered me. The post’s about @MySchnauzerBites finding a truck full of (TW) –> bodies! So I did a little digging.

@MySchnauzerBites found the bodies in a truck labeled ‘Delphi Strawberry Services’. The name sounded familiar to me, and I wondered why… so imagine my FORKING REACTION when I opened my pantry and came face-to-face with a jar of Delphi’s Strawberry Jam?!

Turns out it’s my girlfriend’s favorite jam company (didn’t know you could have one of those.) It’s based in Long Island according to the label.

WTF am I supposed to do now?! I can’t go to bed at night knowing that my GF is using DSJ to make her PB&J lunch…

At one point a random lady opened the door, grabbed a bag from the seat RIGHT ABOVE MY SISTER, pulled a gun out of it and probably killed someone (we heard the shot and everything). It was absolutely crazy. I’d never been in a situation like that before, like what the hell?

Found Wendell Dare’s private helicopter parked on Fifth Avenue when I woke up from the Manhattan Big Sleep! When I awoke in the drivers’s seat my car was right across from it. Thought it was odd to see a celebrity’s vehicle in the middle of it all while there’s a war for juvenile delinquents occurring. Do you all think he’s got something to do with it?

According to Amnesty International, Mr. Dare apparently likes chopping down trees, building trashy subdivisions, earning cash, subcontracting companies that use child labor, using it for his Caribbean vacations, etcetera etcetera. Your average snobby millionaire (billionaire?) Wouldn’t put it past him to start buying the government now (God knows other rich guys have been doing it since the dawn of time.)

Got any ideas?

Manhattan Big Sleep conspirators, I found and interviewed the lady who flew Wendell Dare’s helicopter onto Fifth Avenue during the Manhattan Big Sleep! She’s anonymous, but currently works as a rescue service pilot in Los Angeles.

I did some casual stalking (don’t worry y’all, she’s actually really sweet and she didn’t mind) and found out that she actually lives close to me. We met up at Starbucks, transcripts below. (We’re calling her Mary Sue bc she wants to stay Anon.)

[Transcript begins]

Speaker 1 (Interviewer): Hi Mary Sue! Okay, I’ve started recording/

Speaker 2 (Mary Sue): ‘Kay.

Interviewer: Question One: Why did Wendell Dare ask you to fly out to Fifth Avenue, far from his brownstone in Brooklyn, while he was on vacation in St. Thomas?

Mary Sue: Funny story, it actually wasn’t Mr. Dare, and I wasn’t flying alone. You’ve heard of his daughter Rachel?

Interviewer: Of course. For those of you listening who don’t know Rachel Elizabeth Dare, she’s Mr. Dare’s daughter and publicly opposes his work. Attends climate rights rallies, does youth activism, helps out in shelters, stuff like that. Probably the most pure billionaire child you’ll ever meet. Though she’s sort of a monster when ripping apart climate change nonbelievers. Her handle on Instagram is RED-the-snake.

Mary Sue: Yeah, her, she’s nice enough. Anyway, Ms. Dare wanted to go back to New York in the middle of her vacation for some reason. Don’t ask me why. The way her and her dad were talking about it before she boarded the ‘copter made it sound like he didn’t want her to go, but she was very fierce about it. Must have been important.

Interviewer: Interesting…

Mary Sue: Yep. So I flew her to New York, and then the WEIRDEST thing happened. We were right over Fifth Avenue, and then I started to fall asleep. I wasn’t even tired. I had coffee right next to me and I’d only been flying for a couple of hours. Also I couldn’t wake myself up, or fight off the sleepiness. But the last thing I remember was sleeping on the dashboard while Ms. Dare was screaming in the back – she didn’t fall asleep, for some reason – and when I woke up the helicopter was safe on the ground.

Interviewer: WOW. But that’s –

[a phone rings]

Mary Sue: Oh, sorry, I gotta take this.

Interviewer: It’s fine, we’re done anyways.

[transcript ends]

So yeah, that was my wild ride with Ms. Mary Sue. Theorize away!

So if y’all remember my post about those strange vans during the MBS and @MollyJollyBean’s post about Delphi Strawberry Service making jam… I did a little digging. Bought some Delphi jam at the local grocer’s and checked the label. As it turns out, DSS (and its branch DSJ) has an existent address that’s more specific than ‘Long Island’.

Two weird things:

One, the hypothetical number of the building is the shortened version of pi (3.141) which may be a coincidence but is hella weird.

Two, when I drove there, there was absolutely nothing.

Found this huge valley that’s very pretty. Completely green, but the only sign of humanity is a bunch of inactive electricity cables wrapped around the foot of a ginormous pine tree. Left immediately because TBH, it looked like the kind of place you’d get kidnapped.

After u/MySchnauzerBites’ last post, I decided to take matters into my own hands. After a whole lot of digging I found the DSJ phone number: (800)-009-0009.

I called it. Guess what happened?

The person who picked up had really bad sound quality. I heard a bunch of chattering and brush. Then somebody saying “Who is this?” I said I had a question about the strawberries and if I could meet someone in person. They hung up.

Craziest thing happened two weeks later. I found two teens skulking around my apartment. One carried a baseball bat, the other had a goddamn knife. I think I’m being stalked by DSJ? Because no other hypothesis makes sense. God help me, I’m scared!!! Gah! I got my landlord to scare them off, but like… what the fork? Please some advice. I only got a pic of the one with the baseball bat.

I am a little bit terrified and because I am an idiot I drove up to DSS to see it for myself (BTW for those who are confused, DSS is Delphi Strawberry Service and DSJ is the name of the jam.)

u/MySchnauzerBites wasn’t lying, there’s nothing there and its inexistence is pissing me off. Like what the heck?

So here’s a synopsis of what’s happening so far:

1. Teens were fighting in Manhattan
2. The trucks that transported their corpses belong to an inexistent company
3. Rachel Dare is involved somehow
4. If you call the inexistent company they’ll stalk you (good luck Berm. We’ll know what happened if you go missing.)

OK, so I’ve been watching Rachel Dare’s acc for awhile (huge fan, BTW) and WOW.

I scrolled through her posts, back to when the Big Sleep ended (around 10PM, East Standard Time, Aug. 17) and she has no posts that day. That is the same day that she was allegedly brought to NYC for unknown reasons via a private copter.

HOWEVER.

Two days later (Aug 19) she posted a picture of herself playing volleyball? Looking perfectly happy? With the sun shining on her face?

The place where she took her photo definitely looked like St. Thomas. At the time NYC was still recovering from Hurricane Typhaon, a freak storm that wrecked most of the U. S. (more info here), so if she was in New York, we would have been able to tell because of cloudy weather, rubble, aftereffects of the hurricane, etcetera etcetera. But the place where she took her photograph had really nice weather. You could see the ocean in the background and everything.

What is suspicious, though, is that she didn’t drop her location. Most of her posts have a location pin on them, but not this time, which is really weird.

Which is why I am up to the theory: Do y’all think that she was still in the U. S., just maybe upstate or something? She could have found some stretch of beach where Hurricane Typhaon didn’t cause any damage, and then she took a pic and pretended that she was in St. Thomas? It seems likely to me, I’m just not sure why.

Maybe I’m overreacting, but anyways: the description to her post was really short: “Playing volleyball with some friends in St. Thomas, hope y’all are doing OK after the Manhattan sleeping incident. Please donate to this GoFundMe page by Mr. Brunner, a Long Island resident and overall nice man, to aid restoration efforts both from Hurricane Typhaon and from the fires/other accidents that took place during the Big Sleep. Stay safe out there!”

So she acknowledged that the Manhattan Big Sleep happened, which is something. But she dances around the topic that she was allegedly there (if we believe the interview that I took with Ms. Mary Sue, and trust me, she didn’t seem like she was lying) and acts like she was at St. Thomas the entire time.

Dunno what we’re going to do next. Maybe research this Mr. Brunner guy? RED says that he’s an ‘overall nice man’, implying that they personally know each other. She doesn’t give much info about him, but I’m sure there’s a short bio on his GoFundMe page.

Other than that, Rachel has surprisingly stopped posting as much since the Big Sleep. Probably because she was sent to Clarion Ladies’ Academy (a finishing school, here’s the homepage) in New Hampshire (though she got expelled about two months in, so she was transferred to the Connecticut branch of the same school, a development she shared in this recent post.) They don’t allow phones there, I think.

The only other update about RED-the-snake that is abnormal from her – and when I say abnormal, I mean something that’s unusual for her account – is that she hasn’t posted anything for the holidays.

In December/January, she didn’t post anything at all. Her parents were spotted (news article here) traveling to resorts in Tahiti, but she wasn’t with them. Is it possible that this is just RED being RED? After all, she has, in the past, refused to go on vacations with her parents because many of the resorts they visit are run by cheap labor, nations affected by imperialism, etc. BUUUUUUT it’s also possible that she was off doing something else… like hanging out with random teenage gangs.

The same thing happened in spring break for her (according to the Clarion Academy schedule, that’s late April.) Her parents were photographed up in Egypt. She was nowhere to be seen. RED, you up to something?

Our Story:

Recently, Hurricane Typhaon – a freak storm that started in Washington – made it to New York City and destroyed miles of infrastructure along the Hudson River before finally fading. Hundreds of people are struggling to find aid, food, shelter, and legal help as they re-establish their lives. While thankfully, nobody was killed by the storm, the damage still requires significant donations to compensate.

In an unfortunate twist of fate, a chemical fumes accident knocked many people unconscious on the same day of the storm, resulting in fires from stoves left on and medical emergencies due to unmonitored medication.

This fundraiser aims to help both causes. Please donate to assist our dear friends in New York City through hired legal help, infrastructure repairs, food programs and paid medical assistance.

Conspirators, we are back with a new source…

This fundraiser page.

Said fundraiser was pinned by Rachel Dare herself on her Insta (the post is here) and she claims that it was created by Philip Brunner, who she appears to know personally (she calls him an overall nice man). The fundraiser started on August 19th last year (the same day RED’s post was made, and two days after the MBS.) It stopped receiving donations March. Profits went to repairing infrastructure and providing funds to those affected by the MBS and Hurricane Typhaon.

Now, the timing itself makes perfect sense – created two days after Hurricane Typhaon ended/closed a couple of months later? Checks out.

But what’s interesting about it is the person who created it, and his relationship with RED.

Rachel’s post is her ONLY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT that the MBS exists. Other than that, nobody in the Dare family – and I mean NOBODY – has talked about it. Even Dare Enterprises never released a real statement about it, though they made a recent announcement (here) that they would help reconstruct buildings destroyed by Hurricane Typhaon near the Hudson River.

And that’s, well, fishy.

So, I tried to contact the Brunner guy, but apparently the ‘Contact the Organizer’ button became invalid on GoFundMe after the fund shut down. However, I HAVE searched him up.

He doesn’t freaking exist.

It’s PMO. I literally can’t find him. I dunno where he came from or who he is, is he just not real or smth?

Okay so IOU all an explanation I guess, on how I know Philip Brunner.

In middle school I attended this school called Yancy Academy in upstate New York. It’s a pretty fancy school, which is a shame because most of my classmates were juvenile deliquents (the school specialized in trouble kids.) They taught Latin and stuff – really expensive, lots of costly field trips and programs and things like that.

The Latin teacher was this guy named Mr. Brunner.

If you check his profile on GoFundMe, you’ll see that the PFP is of the same man that’s in my yearbook under the name Philip Brunner. It’s got to be the same guy, it has to be. I don’t know why he didn’t appear online when @u/don’t-mess-with-my-HTML searched him up, because Yancy was an expensive school and all the teachers had a bunch of credentials under their belts. I would expect Brunner’s name to show up under a Latin or History program directory, or something. Plus he always had a bunch of old vintage swords that he would bring out for Latin class, so he must be recorded as a customer/patron in some antique shop. I don't know if you need a license for antique weaponry but it would make sense for his name to be somewhere.

But trust me, swords and stuff wasn't a weird thing for Brunner. He was already pretty weird guy, even without the ancient Roman/Greek weaponry. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was involved in the MBS. What I DON’T know is how he got into contact with RED. As far as I know she never attended Yancy (I was there for all of middle school) and Mr. Brunner isn’t the type to go around befriending celebrities. He was a jerk teacher, actually – he always had favorites, and it was obvious that he didn’t like said ‘favorites’ for their smarts. I mean, I had this one stupid classmate who could barely read or write, and he was never paying attention, but Brunner liked him a lot for no reason. Maybe Brunner felt sorry for him, because he was a scholarship kid and also sped. And there was another boy who rarely spoke up, had a limp, and had a wispy goatee (I think he was held back a couple of grades, it would make sense) and he and Brunner talked all the time like they were friends.

So yeah. Brunner was a weirdo. I mean, come on, sometimes he would take one of his vintage swords and point it at us if we weren’t working fast enough. But it’s definitely the same dude who started that GoFundMe and is connected to RED. I think he must be connected to DSS somehow, too? I mean on GoFundMe his location is listed as Long Island, which is where DSS is supposed to be.

Was there something important at this Yancy place that he needed to watch/attend to? That’s the only theory that makes sense. Also, does he still work there?

The little sh/t posted last night on her birthday.

Should have seen that one coming.

The interesting thing about RED posting is that it’s been a strangely long time since she was active on her account. I think @u/Swift13sUnite mentioned it in their earlier post, but for some reason, she’s been oddly silent during the holidays in the past year. Not posting in the school year makes sense now that she’s attending Clarion Ladies’ Academy, which has strict rules about social media, but she still posted nada during her winter and spring breaks, which is abnormal for her. Usually she gives updates/does media challenges whenever she has the chance.

RED’s been spotted in public attending rallies and stuff like that, and she does make the occasional post recommending/advertising nonprofits, so she’s still keeping up with her activist work. That’s for sure. The only issue is that she’s given little to no personal updates, which is odd because that’s what normally keeps people addicted to her account. It’s one of her main marketing points – she’s smart enough to sandwich the activism between art and interesting personal stuff. In fact, art makes up ninety percent of her account, but she hasn’t posted any since her Winter Painting challenge. And her personal updates so far have ranged from her favorite moment of the week to her coming-out as aroace last September, but in the past four months she hasn’t posted anything personal EXCEPT for this one photo of her and her friend, which was in last night’s post (OG Insta post is here):

I personally wonder if the other girl in the pic is someone we should know. I would guess that this girl is likely one of RED’s old friends from her former school in NYC, and I say this because if she was a Clarion student, she would probably live in New Hampshire, where Clarion Academy is located. Rachel Dare is one of the few Clarion students who lives in another state. And assuming that Rachel is visiting home in NYC for her birthday weekend – that’s the only way she could possible visit Le Parker Meridien, which is located in Manhattan – it would make sense for her to talk to/spend time with her old friends.

However, I don’t recognize the girl in the photo from any of Rachel’s pics last year while she was attending Goode High. Rachel posted a couple of photos for Goode’s school dance and Blonde Girl isn’t in/doesn’t resemble anybody in them. And I don’t think that she could be one of RED’s family friends either, because to be connected to the Dares, a family has got to be famous. Wendell Dare has made it very clear that he doesn’t interact with anyone of a ‘lower class’. And this girl’s family couldn’t be famous or on the same level as the Dares. If they were, she wouldn’t bother censoring her face, because everybody would recognize her anyways.

Then again, maybe I’m just going down a rabbit hole. For all I know, Blonde Girl isn’t even remotely important. I just wanted to cover the rumor that Rachel Dare might be friends with the teens who raided the Empire State Building, and this girl is about their age, so… yeah. Probably not important, though.

Anyways. Back to RED.

I heard a couple of suggestions earlier about contacting Rachel… should we try? I mean, if we made a really scandalous claim about her on the Internet, she’d probably be compelled to respond on social media just to justify herself. That’s probably the only efficient way to gain her attention. But I also don’t want to ruin a minor’s life by spreading conspiracy theories about her on Instagram. DMing her a pic of the Dark Lord or questions about Philip Brunner might also work, but… I dunno. She might just ignore the pictures and assume that they’re spam.

What are some other threads we should follow up with? I don’t want this conspiracy to get stuck on the Philip Brunner clue and then never go anywhere with it. If this conspiracy thread ends… I’ll be really upset. Should we look more into the Dark Lord? Or go ahead and contact RED? Or investigate more NYC government explanations for the MBS?

Thoughts?

The only suspicious thing about her is that RED didn’t tell us her Insta username or tag her as a Mutual. Most people RED’s age, including some of the people on this thread, have phones and Instagram accounts, but RED hasn’t mentioned this girl’s Instagram account, which is a usual courtesy when taking a picture with another person.
