    Even after the Battle against Gaea, NICO is still haunted by his past. The only difference is that this time, he was trying... Trying to make friends, trying for a second life, but most importantly... Trying to get better. He has decided to not run away, and not to succumb and become one with the shadows. He now valued his life, and he hated to admit that a part of the reason why is a certain son of Apollo...

    WILL may seem all sunshine outside but he has a lot hidden inside. He may have a lot on his plate, but he would never hesitate to help a certain son of Hades. What he didn't expect though was for his mask to slide and his bottle to break. What happens then? Would Nico still want to be his friend? Basically, he has lived a lie. So, what happens when someone finally sees and breaks through his mask?

    Read and go on a journey as these two find friendship and eventually love in each other. It won't be easy, it never was for demigods, and they have a lot of obstacles to face along the way, but what are obstacles against two stubborn demigods?

    Fic takes place in Post-BoO to Post-ToA (Right before they leave for Tartarus.

    “Hey, I’m a gay man. The only things that scare me are God and the government, I just don’t understand all of that,” he said as he gestured to Piper.

    She rolled her eyes, but was still smiling.

    “But hey, at least you can listen to Olivia Rodrigo’s album and really feel it now.”

    Piper let out the loudest laugh she could, her entire body was shaking as she doubled over. Nico couldn’t help but copy her. They had joked about her and Jason breaking up just so she could listen to the album to the fullest about a month ago, but now that joke was a bit too real.

    “Oh, god. You’re fucking right.”

    Nico decided that he could keep making jokes as it seemed like Piper was starting to feel a bit better.

    “God, I wish I had someone to break up with to listen to it. We could go through this together,” he joked, but Piper just grinned and raised a brow.

    “Why don’t you just ask someone to date you and then break up.”

    “What the fuck?”

    “Seriously,” she started, “I think that would be so fucking funny.”

    “Who would I even ask to do that?”

    “Why not Will?”

    Everything had been going... surprisingly well after Gaea's defeat. Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter were both restored to the domestic tranquility they had been in before all the conflicts. However, said domestically was rudely interrupted by a letter from the gods being delivered straight to Percy and his gaggle of demigods.

    They are now thrown into a peculiar school created for the children of gods from all corners of the world, with even stranger teachers, and the strangest of all, students. Balancing a new prophecy on their hands, solving said prophecy, passing their classes, and worst of all, going through the social trials of high school will be more than just a battle- it's going to be war.

    So, know those Wattpad fanfictions of Percy Jackson and all of the other half-bloods going to high schools like Goode? Well, this is my take on that. But a lot better, and kind of self-indulgent. Except that I brutally kill portions of the canon PJO universe. Tee hee.
