Chapter 1: Starting Line
Chapter Text
Izuku Midoriya was running. His legs moving on their own. With no plan, just a desire to help, and his steadfast determination.
Because someone needed it. It did not matter who or how, because he would save them.
No matter what.
“Because that’s what a real hero would do!” And with those thoughts in mind, he pressed onward.
*SHATTER!!!*
“…What?”
With the sound of breaking glass reverberating everywhere, as the very fabric of the universe and reality itself shattered and broke, upon that declaration.
For across the world for barely half a second, everyone saw the cracks in reality like Iridescent shards of broken glass. With the effect and consequences barely noticed and dismissed by the masses.
But for a number of individuals, time seemed to almost slow… and they saw the fragmented truth. They saw themselves and their lives, but most importantly of all, they saw him, and the countless versions of their journeys together or apart, until the end of their world.
And with it, the collective realization that their world will now have a drastic change, pieces will be shifted, and a final reward for a Hero will be realized, at least for this world.
But for two people directly at the epicenter, there lives will be directly affected by more drastic shifts and visions.
For Toshinori, he saw the full ramifications of his decisions by passing and not passing his quirk to the boy he is now witnessing risk himself, and for someone he now knows did not have the most cordial relationship prior.
Like a Hero.
But for Katsuki Bakugo, as he was at that current moment, witnessing the full truth of their multiverse and his place in it. Well, unfortunately for him…the truth he saw would forever split his mind, unable and unwilling to comprehend it.
Fortunately from a certain point of view, the universe was willing to compromise. So gone from this world was Katsuki Bakugo as he was, in his place something else like one of the many already shifting pieces. But we will get to them later.
As for Izuku, well let’s see shall we.
Changes
With the sound of more than two feet running towards the scene of the sludge villain. Izuku realized something was off. But that didn’t matter, because someone needed help. “First, I need to get the villain’s attention.” “Look for a weak-point!” “His eyes there solid! Go for them!” “Open-up with an insult too!”
“Hey, Sewer snot!” Was shouted out, directed towards the villain. A yellow bag being thrown a split second later.
“Oh, It’s you again you damned br—Ack! The Hell?!” With surprise evident in the villain’s tone - And a bag catching them in the eye - The slime villain’s attention is brought to the familiar boy from earlier charging at him.
Especially punctuated, by the fact, that he distinctly remembers their only being one last time.
But that did not matter to the villain, because he was angry and irritated, so he would kill as many as it took - skin suit or not - to get out of this situation as fast, as possible. And started attacking with tendrils of sludge. Momentarily forgetting about the hostages held captive and suffocating in his mass.
But Izuku was not concerned with the attacks, dodging their way forward with an almost unnatural agility and coordination. because he had a job to do. “Good the villain is distracted. Primary objective saving the hostages. Secondary objective subduing the villain. Third objective fire control solution.” With a plan forming, the five Izuku‘s acted without a word.
Into the Fire
Katsuki? “…No, that’s not…right…” They felt. Weird. Their mind was foggy. They know they’re in danger. Their body was wrapped up in a mucus like mass, and very close to dying from suffocation.
But they also knew something was different about them. “…Maybe, I’ll figure it out later…”
“…Wait, what’s that…?” suddenly at the edge of their vision, they saw a familiar head of green hair coming closer. “Izu-kun…?” A vary groggy part of their mind questioned with hope building in their chest, and as they started seeing black spots at the edge of their vision.
They suddenly felt the mass of their captor shift.
As, what felt like a metal something…? Grab them. As the sludge imprisoning their body start to feel colder.
The next thing they know, they’re out of the sludge like mass. Lungs taking a much needed breath of air, and being handed off to someone. Even with the sound of faint hysterical screaming being heard in the background, and with their body already in a losing battle with unconsciousness, they couldn’t help the feeling of warmth grow in themselves, as familiar arms were being put underneath them for a bridal carry.
Faintly, they could hear his voice. “You’re not?…” They’d know that voice from anywhere. “…I-Izu-kun…” Even with their mind only half awake. “Don’t worry, you’re safe now.” They felt reassured at his words, and stopped fighting.
“…I get it now, the type of hero you want to be…Izuku.” Closing their eyes.
As then, a massive shockwave reverberated around the area. They were already peacefully unconscious.
With their mind having a brief respite, they felt the sensation of being carried, as they were gently being handed off and felt they were being put on a stretcher.
As they were slowly drifting into wakefulness, they sensed another form next to them, as their head turned to face the other occupant. “Wait…? why am I Seeing myself!?” And was left dumbfounded at what they saw.
Aftermath
“Holy shit, he punched the weather!!!” And with the apt statement from a random civilian made, as everything was finally winding down. Everyone. the heroes included, were then broken out of their collective spell of inaction.
Immediately the heroes, and news crews around the area started to approach the scene in the alleyway, some with not the best of intentions for being shown up like that. Especially not by a kid, who barely looked out of middle school.
All Might, realizing this - And with certain revelations made apparent to him - he decided to jump into action immediately, buffing up to get the situation under control before the reporters, and the other heroes started getting to rowdy.
Alongside All Might, Mount Lady and Kamui Woods also moved to assist, with Mount lady helping guard the rescued girls as they got to the paramedics, then helping the police with the villain cleanup.
And Kamui Woods, trying to get the boys out of that situation as discreetly as possible.
With All Might, promising the reporters a press conference later today, to keep the heat off his hopefully, again, future student.
Unknown to the heroes however, another group was also helping keep the coverage on the down low. But they wouldn’t know about that, until much later.
Later near Sunset
Exhausted emotionally from the days events, the group of Izuku’s make their steady pace back to their apartment.
Walking past a cross section Izuku comes to a stop, standing behind the group staring down at the path.
“So...?” He starts, unsure. They all turn to look at him questioningly.
“H..Hi…?” He tries again, with a nervous smile.
There’s an awkward chuckle from one, then another, and another. Leading to the collective laughter of the five of them.
“Ha! Spirits, that was so bad!” The second Izuku exhaled hard, holding onto a lamp post for stability,
“Dude, why do we have to be so awkward?” Came the wheezing reply of the third.
“I-I’m sorry for laughing, but-Hahaha!” The fourth one laughed lightly, a hand over his mouth.
Izuku snorted. “I know, I just had to break the tension.”
“Well, that’s one way of doing it…” The last one sighed as his shoulder slumped.
With the last of the awkward air gone, the boys have a chance to look at themselves properly.
“So you guys are all me?” Izuku questioned. receiving nods from the group. “And all of us, have powers...” He continued. The group nodded again. “sorry I didn’t help in the…” he trailed off, thinking back to the incident.
“Dude, it’s fine. I’m pretty sure those vultures believe we’re your quirk, so you’re good man.” A second Izuku gave dismissive motion with his hand.
“Especially if you’re looking at it from an outsiders perspective. It probably looks like a quirk awakening.” Added the third, gesturing to the group as a whole.
“More over, with the amount of abilities we have, so probably a very powerful quirk awakening. Rare as they are, but possible.” Confirmed a fourth analytically, his arms crossed.
“And we are definitely sure all of this is not a quirk.” Pointed out the last one. “Yes I know, I haven’t forgotten about you.” The others looked at him briefly. “Sorry…passenger.” He shifted awkwardly. They all nodded in understanding.
With a sigh Izuku started. “We’re gonna have to go over everything we can do later. When we get back home.” he checked the others, then looked at the device on his wrist.
They all hummed and nod in acknowledgment.
And turn to the direction of their apartment.
…
“WAIT!/WAIT!!”
Suddenly, two frantic shouts catches the groups attention.
They all turn at the sound of the voices and approaching footsteps. And are collectively surprised at what they see.
Running up, and stopping there on the walkway, were two equally out of breath and tired looking girls. Who Izuku - now that he was able to get a better look at them without a stressful situation - realizes who they were.
Because, he was pretty sure they were a guy last time he saw them.
And, a single person!
One of the girls with longer messy hair in a ponytail, takes a breath and raises her hand to say something. Before looking to them, directly in the eyes.
“We’re sorry, I’m so sorry! I w-.” she was interrupted, by the identical girl with short messy hair.
“…Wait-.”
“And thank you, for helping us!” Her face red from embarrassment.
“-WHAT?!”
30 Minutes earlier
After the checkup from the paramedics giving them the OK. We now see walking side-by-side and periodically looking at each other, a pair of blonde teenage girls, both of whom used to be Katsuki Bakugo.
“Sooo…” A nervous voice started.
“Yes…?” A curious sounding voice replied.
A visible tension is broken between the two.
“S-So, What are we gonna call ourselves now?” The one with shorter hair asked, body visibly sagging with a sigh. “And shit, we’re gonna have to call the old lady aren’t we?” Face now sporting a slightly irritated grimace.
“Yes, we are going to have to call mom eventually.” Answered her longer haired twin. She stops face blank. “Hopefully she’ll be happy with the news.” A strained smile forms on her lips “I knew she always wanted a daughter.” A pause, visible confusion in her expression. “Is it I, or we now?”
“It doesn’t matter…Sigh…Might as well get this over with.” The short haired girl reaches for her phone but stops. Head slowly turning towards her twin with a blank expression.
“Oh, right. Let’s see. right, here.” The long haired twin ruffles in their bag for the phone.
Pulling it out, they immediately scroll to their contacts and hit call.
After a little waiting and the girls moving to stand next to each other. Their call is answered with the screen opening at the site of their mother Mitsuki, looking back in confusion. slowly their mother’s face shifts to surprise, then horrifying realization, and finally ecstatic elation followed by high-pitched squealing.
“Eeeek…OK, ok. I’m ok, I’m good.” She takes a breath. Mitsuki looks at them straight through the screen. “Right then, tell me what’s going on and that there aren't any tricks being played right now.”
The girls look at each other. The long haired one starts. “Umm…Hi mom? I guess I’m technically the older sister now, we’re not sure?”
“Yeah, no we ain’t sure of shit but we know damn well we used to be Bakugo Katsuki or at least versions of that hellion or something.”
Mitsuki just stared back, her expression turning back to Shock from the moment they open their mouths. “What the hell?! Since when were you two..?” Shakes her head. “Since when were you two so behaved? You too definitely look like my brat, but one of you acts like me, and the other a lot like Masaru.” She sighed. “Well, it’s not like anything can be done now, but still, what happened?”
“Some ass with a sludge quirk kidnapped Katsuki, attempting to do a body snatch, I think”
“Unfortunately yes, that did happen, it should be on the news by now.” The longer haired girl muttered the last bit in a sorrowful tone.
“Anyway, long story short dumbass made the situation worse, so the B list heroes were unable to help him for a bit.” The short haired girl continued, her voice laced with irritation.
Mitsuki’s face was not exactly a pleasant one about that bit of news.
“That is, when Izu-kun ran in to try and help, but something happened.”
“So we weren’t the only ones that saw that.” Mitsuki muttered to herself.
“Yeah, when the dork was running at us, the best way I can describe it, was like reality broke into glass shards or something. And we saw some shit that we might wanna talk about in person.” They saw their mother nodding in agreement. “But because of that.” She stopped, visibly trying to figure out what to say “There might, be more than one of the dork.” She stopped again, exasperated this time. “With powers, because I am sure as shit, those are not Quirks!” Throwing her hands in the air out frustration.
“I’m sorry, what!?” Mitsuki looked genuinely shocked hearing this. but then she saw the looks in both her daughters eyes.
“It seems that the universe has finally smiled upon Izukun. And given him something that he always wanted, and some help to go along with it. Hopefully, wait-.”
“Wait? sis what is it?”
“We need to apologize to him. Immediately!” The girl looked panicked.
“…Oh shit…” The other answered in dawning horror.
“Mom! can you meet us at auntie Inko’s! And please bring dad with you!” Came the more outwardly calm girls voice, in a near begging tone.
“Yeah. Because we have done shit we need to apologize for, really bad!” The follow up from the other girl was almost desperate.
Mitsuki started to get worried. “What did you do?”
“Mom, please.” Her new daughter, looked at her pleadingly.
“This is shit we did, when we were Katsuki, please just listen to us.” Her other daughter, insisted.
Nodding in affirmation, she began to call out. “Maseru! We need to go to Inko’s!” They heard over the phone.
“Ok mom, bye we’ll see you later.” “Yeah! Later.”
“We should hurry!” After they ended the call.
With that the twins started running towards Izuku’s apartment, hoping to find him on the way, and to properly set things right.
Present
Izuku Midoriya just sat at the dining room table of his apartment, hands together, and just stared forward, if anyone was looking at the expression on his face and tried their hand at describing it. It would sit between contemplative, exhausted, and a minor hint of frustration.
Standing behind him to his sides, where his clones…? Brothers…? “We’ll come up with something better later.” With their own visible expressions of concern and exhaustion.
Because across the table from them, sat his mother, Inko and to her right and left Mitsuki and Masaru Bakugo respectively - the new Bakugo twins sanding behind their mother - with strained smiles. His mother, nervously holding her hands together - also visibly skinnier since last he saw her this morning - nervously and with visible excitement looking to his left.
Because sitting at that end of the table - with actual, honest to God sparkles floating around them - is Izuku’s now, new sister, and focal point of the apartments atmosphere. One who Inko immediately took as her own, and named Izumi.
He sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. “So, where do we even start?”

Chapter Text
Toshinori yagi was many things to a lot of people. The hero All Might, Japan’s symbol of peace, the eight holder of one for all, and an uncle in all but blood. But, right now he was the former-student to the man next to him, as they were standing outside of a small apartment door. - Three days after the sludge villain incident. - All for a boy he wishes to be the mentor for again.
“…Well?”
“Well, what?”
Sorahiko Torino groaned, piercing his former-student with a withering look. “Well, Aren’t ya, Gonna, KNOCK!!!” he half shouted in frustration.
Toshinori blinked for a couple of seconds, a quiet cough escaping his lips.“R-Right… Sorry…” Hesitantly looking away from his former sensei. He knocked on the door.
“Don’t worry, I’ll get it!” Came a muffled reply, as they heard footsteps moving to the door.
As it opened, Toshinori and Sorahiko were met face to face with someone they both did and didn’t know. Then again. Finding a very fit girl wearing a sundress who’s resemblance to the teen they were after, was certainly an uncanny experience for them. - Especially since they now have memories of various versions of said Teen. - “…If anything she’ll definitely be popular in heroics…” …Still uncanny though. The sparkles floating around her head didn’t help either.
“…Oh.” With recognition in her eyes, she turned into the apartment and called out. “Izuku, it’s for you!”
“Right, I’ll be down in a minute!” A crashing noise is heard coming from upstairs, “Sorry! Ack! …Can you…Um. Can you please get them situated!”
“No Prob!” She turned back to face them with a bright smile. Motioning with her hands. “Come on in. Mom‘s gonna be back in a little bit.”
Toshinori shrugged and simply followed after her. “Thank you for letting us in.” Sorahiko trailing just behind him.
Sitting down after being led to the dining room, the two of them barely had a second to speak before the girl poked back in after just leaving. “Sorry, forgot about introductions. Name’s Izumi. Can I get you guys anything?” She offered, with a friendly smile.
Toshinori raised a finger “…Water thank you, young Midoriya.”
“Please, Call me Izumi.” An Adorable pout on her face.
“O-Of course, young Izumi.” She beamed at that.
Sorahiko thought for a moment. “You got any Taiyaki here.” The girl nodded in response. “Yeah! that, and some tea thank you.” He asked, happily rubbing his hands together. Toshinori just shaking his head at his old-teachers antics.
Looking around, they suddenly hear another noise coming from upstairs.
“Right, that is the last time those two get to experiment with anything.” Izuku quietly muttered to himself as he came down. - Dressed in a white Long Sleeve T-shirt, the phrase Alien Leader on the front, and the number 1 on it’s back. And finally some gray long pants. - Turning his head as he noticed the two occupants sitting at the table, looking at him Quizzically.
He looked back at them, before turning his head upstairs.
“Guys! Please get down here and help Izumi in the kitchen.” He called out as Four Izuku’s, - Wearing similar attire, but with the phrases; Dragon Ops, Ghost Scout, Tech Support and Energy Artillery, with corresponding numbers from 2 to 5 on their back’s. - Went straight to the kitchen without any preamble.
He approached the table.“Right. Is this everyone? or…?” he asked as he made his way to it’s head.
“Oh, no. Nezu is still on his way.” Toshinori answered, taking out his phone. “He’s also bringing two others. Is that gonna be a problem?”
Shaking his head in response, Izuku took a seat, already resting his arms on the table. “No it’s fine. Hey Izumi, please ready some more cups and water.”
“Sure thing, just give me a minute.” Came a happy reply from the kitchen.
“Thank you! I appreciate it.” He called back. A grateful sigh escaping his lips.
Toshinori looks to the boy a little brighter, “So, I see you have a-” “I’m sorry but, I’m gonna have to stop you right there. We’re gonna discuss this later, but you haven’t exactly apologized for the stuff on the roof.” Izuku interrupted him with a sour expression on his face.
“Don’t worry kid, I got it.” Sorahiko reassured him as he gave Toshinori a disappointed glower.
“R-Right, let m-“ Before Toshinori can try to defend himself, the front door is opened. “Kids, I’m home! Is All Might here already?” Inko asked as she entered the dining room. A chorus of greetings following her from the kitchen.
Upon noticing their guests The slender woman started giving Toshinori a polite bow. “Welcome. I thank you for calling us yesterday, and to properly discuss my Izuku‘s future, - Especially with these abilities - going forward.” A grateful expression aimed towards them.
Rubbing his head awkwardly at being thanked like that. The near skeletal man couldn’t help but let out a chuckle. “It’s no problem Mrs. Midoriya. We all want what’s best for Young Izuku. Now, don’t we.” He reassured honestly.
As Izuku was seen bashfully protesting in the background.
“Hey, don’t forget about me.” Izumi added with a playful huff. Walking in, - Now sporting a shirt similar to Izuku’s with the words, Magic Support on the front, the number 6 on it’s back. - With two trays levitating around her.
“W-Wait, no I-” Inko Immediately tried to correct herself.
“But no, I understand.” A teasing edge in her voice. “It’s not like everyone can be as Amazing as my Big Brother. So I guess I’ll just be forgotten to the wayside.” She continued as she placed drinks and snacks on the table, before making her way back to the kitchen. Sparkles trailing behind her as she went.
“IZUMI! Wait, I’m SORRYYY!!!” Inko ran after her, Tears already forming in her eyes.
Sorahiko just looks at everything with a bemused expression. “You guys are fun. You know that.” Happily taking a bite of the offered Taiyaki as he did so.
Izuku continued to groan. face now firmly planted on the table. Slightly embarrassed from his family’s antics.
“Anyway, I’m going to-“ Toshinori was stopped again with a knock from the door.
“I’ll get it!” Izumi exclaimed not a second later. Opening the door to greet their new guests.
“Welcome. The others are already waiting inside.” As Izumi walked in with three people behind her.
“Why, Thank you!” Came the cheerful voice of a white furry creature sitting on the shoulder of a very tired looking man, following them, a woman with Indigo hair and pink highlights doing a noticeable sweep of the house, until she landed on Izuku with clear recognition in her eyes. An amused smile tugging at her lips at the site of him.
The man on the other hand just sighs, muttering something like problem child under his breath. Placing the creature to sit across from Izuku. The man and woman taking the seats facing each other next to the creature.
Izumi noticing what was happening took the spot on the other side of Toshinori and Sorahiko. With Inko coming back to the dining area, - After seemingly cleaning herself up a bit. - Placing herself next to Izumi. Meanwhile, as Izuku’s brothers brought everyone their requested refreshments.
While Izuku was seen bracing himself for what was to come.
“So, then.” Nezu spoke with a clap, gathering everyone’s attention. “I Suppose it is now time for introductions.” His small arms gesturing to himself. “Hello, am I a mouse. a dog. a bear? Well for now. That discussion doesn’t matter, because I am Principle Nezu, of UA.” A tiny arm moved to point. “To my right, class 1-A’s Shota Aizawa, and to my left,” His other arm mirrored the first. “Of the newly activated class 1-Q, Kaina Tsutsumi.”
A few eyebrows raised at the woman’s introduction. Aizawa groaning tiredly in the background.
“And of course, my associates, Toshinori Yagi and Sorahiko Torino. But for now.” Nezu, - his arms spread out again. - Gave a dramatic pause. As slowly, he went down to grab his tea. Leveling Izuku with a look, taking a sip, before lowering his cup.
“Izuku Midoriya.” A firm, almost dangerous tone was added to his voice. “What, Pray tell do you think of the world right now? And, what are you going to do about it?”
With the room slightly tensing.
The Teen let out a sigh at Nezu’s questions. But straightened up before answering. “Truth be told sir, …I can honestly say that I didn’t like how I was treated, before….” Izuku trailed off, but raised his hand stopping any protests. “But, That doesn’t mean that I don’t want to help people.”
Nezu’s expression was passive, as he let the boy continue.
“I-I’ve always wanted to be a hero, Sir. I always have. And from the impression I got form Others. Depending on the circumstance, I would have either committed to it. To being a hero, achieving my dream. Or worst case scenario, become a worse villain then the one All Might fought.” Izuku gestured to the device on his wrist. While Five figures moved to stand behind him. “And now. From what I understand. My ‘siblings’ and I have a bunch of powers from the pre-quirk Era, that belonged to fictional heroes, - or at least adapted to be. - That no longer exist in this world’s history.” Izuku looked up at the principal. Determination, conviction, and resolve burning in his eyes, punctuated by a green glow emanating from them, that same burning passion and glow being mirrored in the five behind him. “So I’m going to be a hero who helps people, with or without these powers. No matter what.”
“*Sob*…” Inko was tearing up in the background as everyone felt the conviction in his words.
Nezu was smiling internally. “Well, congratulations Mr. Midoriya. You passed my little test.” He watched as the group’s shoulders slump a bit. “And because of that! I would like to offer you and your siblings individual seats in the hero course. Barring of course that you all pass the entrance exam.” A subtle smile forming on his lips. “And I have no doubt that you will.”
Thinking to himself as the room lightened in atmosphere.
“So you were always like this from the start. Hmm.” Aizawa Shook his head in fond recollection. “You never changed, did you Problem child.”
Izuku and his group were just sputtering silently at his remark.
Kaina just snorted. “Come on, don’t rag on him so much. It’s his first time around. So let them be a little dramatic. After all.” A smirk and a raised eye brow was sent his way. “We’ve ALL went through our teenage years.” The deadpan look he gave her, it made her grin stretch wider.
“You’re as bad as Nemuri.”
Nezu clapped again. Putting an end to that discussion. “Now with your aspirations established. I have a question I’d like to ask you about your abilities. But only one aspect, I want to save the rest for later.” An excited smile coming on his face. - His colleagues shuttering in response to that. - “But first, do you have any questions for me or my associates?”
Izuku perks up and nods. “I have three…” He points to Kaina. “…Um… How is she here…? Also why does she keep smiling at me like that?”
Kaina shook her head ruefully before replying. “Honestly, I get it. I won’t bore you with the details, but because I had different priorities, I never joined with the HPSC. And with these new Memories, I’m really grateful I didn’t now.” As a wistful look in her eyes and a serene smile formed on her lips. She shook her head again, this time her face a little exasperated. “Then somehow, that led me to end up working for the rat.” She paused. A Mischievous grin Formed with her next statement. “…And the reason I’m smiling, that’s a surprise for later but let’s just say you’re really popular and leave it at that.”
The group of Izukus all felt a collective shiver run down their spines. It didn’t help that their ‘sister’ and mother were giving them knowing looks with Cat like grins.
The Snickers coming from Toshinori and Sorahiko weren’t helping either.
Trying to shake himself from that uncomfortable feeling, he then pointed at the snickering duo. “S-So what are they here for then?”
The larger of the two men coughed into his hand before starting. “I originally intended to offer you something, but with the changing circumstances that option is still on the table, but for now, I would like to apologize for what I said on that roof, and that I would like to train you. if you’d be willing to accept of course. Because I know, you Izuku Midoriya will be an incredible hero. I only wish to help you achieve that.”
Izuku bashfully smiled while Rubbing the back of his neck. “Thank you sir, apology accepted. And I might take you up on the training.”
After letting out a sigh at the acknowledgment and offer, he turned his attention to the whole table. “C-Can I please have you guy’s autographs and ask about your Quirks when we’re done.” He very shyly asked, pulling a notebook out from somewhere.
“Cute.” Kaina almost cooed, before schooling her features and trying to reply in a much cooler fashion. “Yeah sure, kid.”
The table was unconvinced.
But the others we’re happy to indulge him.
He turned back to Nezu. “You wanted to ask me about my powers.”
“Yes, more specifically your siblings.” He said as they all watched the four Brothers get to work on the table, while Izumi went to take her seat again. “I just want to know the specifics of the type of clones were working with here. There other abilities are bonuses if anything, but not important right now.”
Izuku just shrugged in understanding, before pointing to Izumi. “Let’s clear the air about something then. She’s not a clone.”
A look of mild surprise appeared on two of the occupants in the room and a raised eyebrow from one.
“Yup, Technically I really am his little sister.” The girl chirped in response. “I’m another version of him, that just got powers and ended up here in a similar way.”
Nezu nodded at that, gesturing for them to continue.
“Those four.” He pointed to his group of doppelgängers, who each gave little greetings back. “Are basically aspects of me made manifest, then linked back to me.”
This time there were only looks of mild concern and understanding around the table.
“Basically.” An Izuku with the number 2 on his back steps forward. “That means we’re all independent, but Izuku is in charge. We can however make suggestions and alterations.” Stepping back having said his peace.
“We’ve also discovered.” As another spoke up, a 4 on his back. “That whenever we sleep, all of our experiences are shared between each other. My theory for this is through the rem cycle of the human brain, combined with the active telepathic connection all five of us share when we’re conscious.” The clone finished.
The principles expression was alight with glee as he started asking more questions about 4’s theories.
Meanwhile, 3 and 5 went into the kitchen. Bringing out dinner for the table. As small discussions continued over the course of a very pleasant evening.
And secret plans were made to really mess with one guy in particular.

Chapter Text
U.A.
He was here.
He was finally here.
Ten months.
Ten months of relentless combat training, from Toshinori and Sorahiko-sensei.
Ten months of him and his siblings going against each other, with and without powers.
And finally. Ten months of cleaning a beach, and an abandoned mall site. The ladder of which being given to them as a gift, after the cleaning was done.
It was tiring, extremely painful, and at some parts humiliating. but it was worth it, as he felt pride in his chest at his accomplishments.
Because he was Izuku Midoriya! And he was here dammit!
Thought Not everything was completely great.
Him and sister still had to go to school, him a week after the incident so that sucked
But the fact that no one bullied him for those months was pretty nice.
Though no one - not even twins, - wanted to talk to him. but that was fine, par for the course really.
Plus the fact that his brothers had to be registered as separate individuals. - because apparently his sister already existed in this world’s, history. - And, That they were created by a ‘quirk incident’. Don’t even get him started on the individual quirk registrations. Thank you Nezu.
…But that didn’t matter because he-they, were finally here.
And as he and his brothers stood united, admiring the site of UA’s visage, a thought struck him.
“…Wait, where’s IZUMI?!”
As one, the group immediately started to panic, frantically looking around, talking to each other in their mind or out loud. barely noticing as people were giving them a wide birth.
“I can’t believe we lost her!”
“Mom told us we had to look out for each other!”
“Maybe someone took her! so they could use her in an experiment to create some form of horrible abominations!”
“We need to prepare a search party! Look for wherever she might’ve gone!”
“We need to contact the detective Torino-sensei know! Maybe he can help us find the perpetrator!”
“We’re terrible BIG BROTHERS!!!” They screamed in anguish into the heavens.
“Pffft…*snort*…”
At the sound, the boys heads all snapped together in its direction almost immediately.
There standing was Izumi, with clear amusement radiating off of her.
To her sides, were the Bakugo twins, their eyebrows raised at the site. The short haired girl clearly enjoying it more than her longer haired sister.
“IZUMI!!!” In an instant, Izumi had her brothers Surrounding her and checking her over, apologizing for losing track of her and reprimanding her for wandering off to begin with.
The long haired twin, - Having grown tired of the shenanigans. - Stepped forward. “*Sigh*…Izukun, can you please stop. you’re making a scene.”
They stopped immediately, as they started turning around seeing the other student hopefuls, murmuring around them. embarrassment taking over izuku immediately turned to the Bakugo twins.
“I am so so sorry Baku-” “Hey!” Izuku, visibly recoiled at the short haired girl’s interruption.
Upon seeing that, the twins immediately bow at a 90° angle, in apology. “Please wait!” they answer in unison
“…L-Look we’re sorry for not talking to you after all these months since that night after the incident,” Came the short haired girls immediate reply.
The long-haired one steps up “We wanted to formally reintroduce ourselves to you, so we could start over properly”
“But we were cowards. And you don’t need to apologize for shit you never did.”
Blinking at this, Izuku straightens up, and slowly holds a hand out.
Izumi and the other four watching the exchange, the four with trepidation the other with anticipation.
“Ok. …My name is Izuku Midoriya, and it’s nice to meet you.” A new and hopeful sensation filling him at being able to start over with his old childhood friend, in one way or another.
The short haired girl takes his hand immediately. “…I’m K-Katsumi Bakugo. Sorry for cursing. It’s something I picked up from my mom.” She Replied nervously, before stepping back and fiddling with her hair. A light blush apparent on her face.
The other girl step forward, calmly taking his hand. “And I am katsuko Bakugo, it is very nice to meet you.” She stepped back and let go of his hand. And started taking something out and placing it on her head. “And please, take care of us.” Giving him a polite smile, with a pair of square glasses now framing her face.
“…Cute…” Izuku unknowingly mumbled out loud, but noticed as the girls face was pinking slightly. And before he could say anything, he was interrupted.
“Hey guys, shouldn’t we go to the entrance exam now.” Izumi pointed in the direction of the UA building.
Her brothers and the twins blinked, then they rushed into U.A. a little red in the face.
“Come on, don’t forget. We have new friends to make!!!” She bellowed after them.
Meanwhile, unbeknownst to everyone but Izumi, a group of people was watching the exchange, an inkling of jealousy growing in their hearts, but they knew their time would come. They could be patient, and who knows what could happen between now and the start of school.
1-Al_Leader: you know, I don’t think the written exam was meant to be that easy.
Izuku thought, as he made his way through the corridors of U.A. to the auditorium for the next part of the exam.
3-Gh_Scout: Don’t worry about it boss. Or you’ll bring the mood down and we don’t want that now do we.
2-Dr_Ops: Scout don’t do that, you know that’ll make him more worried. And self-conscious of the people around him.
3-Gh_Scout: Sorry sir. I was just trying to lighten the mood.
4-Te_Support: Disregarding that. Izuku you know that we share a baseline intellect. Which was already quite vast before I myself went into various forms of mechanical, electrical and computer engineering in addition to more quirk theory. Something you yourself specialize in as an analyst, need we forget.
5-En_Artillery: Yeah and when Midosu and I went into the extra laws regarding support equipment.
5.5-Midosu: Which we might add, was already five textbooks worth of information. On top of the six books worth of basic hero law you know offhand. 😵💫
3-Gh_Scout: See, trust the biomechanical robotic parasite, we’re fine. you just worry too much!
5.5-Midosu: Hey don’t call me a parasite you half Spectre! 😡
3-Gh_Scout: What did I say about calling me that!
5.5-Midosu: And What about me huh! 😤
4-Te_Support: Wonderful there they go, bickering like children. Again.
5-En_Artillery: Hey. Come on guys, we’re here to be heroes remember, to help people. Guys!
2-Dr_Ops: Yes, weren’t you supposed to be helping Izuku calming his nerves.
3-Gh_Scout: Ah… Right. Sorry.
5.5-Midosu: Yeah. We’re cool. Sorry. 😓
2-Dr_Ops: Despite it devolving into a pointless argument, they had a point, just stay focused and pass this next test. We have a goal to accomplish. Don’t we?
1-Al_Leader: Yeah, thanks guys.
Izuku smiled inwardly at the affirmation of his brothers, and they were right. especially with all the fun they had analyzing their powers. They knew they could do this.
So as the six of them - plus Katsumi and Katsuko - went into the lecture hall, he was preparing himself for almost anything.
What he wasn’t prepared for though, when he noticed it, were the amount of girls surrounding his seating area.
He chose to ignore it though, as Present Mic made his entrance.
Nezu was happily seated in the exam observation room with the other teachers. Keeping an eye out for one participant in particular. “Or should I say participants.” Chuckling to himself as he caught the other faculties attention.
Eraserhead having an idea of what was going on, - barely noticing the way Toshinori was excitedly shaking in anticipation. - He sighed to himself, as he asked the question his boss was probably hoping for. “Sir, what are you so happy about?”
“Why Shota. I thought you knew who would be participating in this years exam.” Upon the rats utterance of that sentence, two things happened.
One. all of the faculty collectively perked up as well, looking for something on the screens
And two. Shota now realized why the recommended students were also there, in a separate observation room with their parents. Raising a brow at the conspicuous number of female recommended students. “…Wait. Weren’t some of them boys last time?”
Shrugging off that last detail, because at the end of the day he only had one headache to focus on right now. “Right. The number one problem child himself.”
“Indeed! Izuku Midoriya!” Nezu confirms far to happily. Pressing a button that lowered six monitors, their images each displaying one of the Midoriyas. - their track suits having numbers to identify them. - Each standing at their own separate testing site. And cementing the pooling dread in his gut.
Especially, As the others started a betting pool.
Sitting in the bus to the exam site. Izuku was a little grateful that him and his siblings were separated to different exam sites. “It would probably be really unfair to the others.”
Exiting the bus when it finally arrived, he made his way through the throng of examines towards the entrance. Not noticing the groups of eyes on him as he marveled at the artificial city. Something similar happening to his brothers at the other entrances.
“YEEEAAAHHHH!!!” Present Mic’s scream gathering everyone’s attention.
“AND START!!!” At his second scream and with no preamble, The practical exam finally started.
And At each of the practical exam sites, As the masses were caught flat footed. Six individuals blitzed forward, smaller groups of those that remembered following behind. as recently beaten in and integrated instincts kicked in.
Sprinting past the threshold of the site entrance. Izuku sent a mental command to the device on his wrist.
And it, obeyed it’s master.
“Command Accepted; Omnitrix Initiating timed randomizer.”
And with a bright flash of green, Izuku transformed.
*STOMP* *STOMP*
Heavy metallic foot falls resounded with each step he took. Realizing who he was, as if on instinct he screamed the name of his new form.
“Nonus Prime!” And he jumped.
His Cybertronian body reacted to his will, and changed. from a nearly 5 and a half meter tall robot, with rabbit like ears on his head, into a two-door Green, White and Black sports car with a separated spoiler.
As his tires gripped the pavement, his rear trunk shifted. Splitting open, as boosters were revealed, forming between his split spoiler.
“Maximum OVERDRIVE!!!”
*FWOOOMMM!!!*
His boosters ignited, Emerald flames propelling him forward, as he was seen peeling off into the distance.
Ops’s face was set in a determined frown, he moved forward.
He knew his mission, he always did.
And he will finish it.
No matter what.
“Dragon UP!! HYBRID!!!”
He screamed at the top of his lungs, as his body was engulfed in green flames.
His tracksuit seemingly burning away, leaving his upper body exposed, his skin covered in green hued scales and ridges like armor, two long horns grew and exposed themselves on the top of his head, pointing behind him, Clawed hands with white scales, covering up to his biceps, sharp and ready to strike anything coming in his path. Mouth full of sharp teeth, visible Emerald embers escaping his lips, And finally a pair of green leathery scaled wings burst from his back, taking him skyward.
Once in the air, energy seeming to pool around him, flowing into him as he called out once more.
“Elemental DRAGON!!! WATER!!!!”
*ROOOAAAARRRRR!!!*
A harsh Blue light emerges from his body, as a dragon made out of pure elemental energy materialized, taking flight to assist it’s master in his task.
Scout was smiling to himself as he moved toward the gates.
Why? you may ask.
Simple, because he gets a chance to show off.
Now you might find it strange or surprising for Someone Who represents all of Izuku’s emotions to have such a shallow reason like that.
Because Izuku isn’t normally like that.
You might be right. but Scout also represents the boy’s love for powers in general. And unlike tech who loves to study them.
Scout loves seeing any and all powers in action.
And, he’s finally allowed. To. Cut. Loose!
“Going! GHOST!!!”
He bellowed proudly. as suddenly a white ring erupted around him and encircles his waist, the energy pushing some examinees back. The ring split in two, one ring rising to cover his head and upper torso, the other his lower body and feet. the energy changing his clothes from a blue tracksuit into one with a green top with white sleeves and black shins. His irises glowing a brighter green with energy almost radiating from them. And Finally his hair from its standard dark green with almost black roots, inverted to lighter green roots and silvery white curls.
With almost unlimited energy filling his body he blasted into the sky and into the test site. a green streak left behind in his wake.
Tech supposed now was as good a time as any.
He, already knew what he could do.
Izuku and him have been experimenting, taking notes and throwing theories for 10 months now.
And now. Now, it was the time to show everyone else the fruits of their labor.
His body began to glow, with green circuitry patterns appearing all over him.
His eyes now solid with the green light, As metal began to emerge from his body and overtook his flesh.
“Let us start with something simple, shall we?”
He thought while commanding the Nanites inside of him.
“Let’s start a revolution!” he declared, a smirk on his lips.
His body being overtaken by a green glow, mechanical noises growing louder as the light got brighter. Until it stopped, the light and noise dying down to nothing.
As Tech stood, his body now fully bio-mechanical. his clothes and skin all but integrated into his now green armored exterior, forearms to biceps covered in white armor, legs now sporting black plates up to his knees. And finally, his face was gone, his smile replaced with a grey rebreather like device mimicking one, his eyes now round black screens and on the top of his green head, twin antenna shaped like rabbit ears.
His eyes lit up, tiny specs of green light expanding to fill out his eyes. The light also trailing on small segments of his body. and he started sprinting.
He Leaped as he passed the threshold, his legs beginning to glow with green circuitry again, a whirring noise accompanying it.
Until, with a heavy *Ker-clunk!* his legs exploded into machinery, building into a green hover bike coming from his own body.
With him grabbing its handles and speeding into the distance.
…Artillery, The big gun.
That’s what he’s called, even if it isn’t entirely true.
He was the weakest of the brothers, comparatively speaking of course.
But to the heroes of this world, even one of his forms would easily place him in the top 100 to top 10. but with his entire arsenal.
He was beyond them.
However, that was Mostly Midosu’s view on the matter.
Artillery himself. he just wants to help people.
And right now that starts with a good showing in this exam.
So, time to leave a good lasting impression.
And show everyone what he’s capable of.
“GO, TURBO!!! BASE!!!”
At his shout, Green Energy suddenly Erupted from Artillery’s body and bathed the surrounding area in green light, while the energy formed a bubble around him. As suddenly a small robot in the shape of an M with rabbit like ears sprang out from his chest levitating in front of him, to then slam back into the same position on Artillery’s Torso, the energy around him crystallizing into hexagonal shapes and started to build onto him forming a sleek armored body suit. With a black base layer covered in silvery white armor, a green hexagon patterned material covering his back and in between the joints adding small highlights all over the suit, the material creating an M shaped visor for a fully enclosed helmet. And the centerpiece of it all, the robot, Midosu creating a green embossed M like shape covering his whole chest.
Once he was fully covered in the armor, - the transformation barely a second from an outsiders perspective, - he started channeling the green energy throughout his body and sprinted forward at above human speeds, jumping into the air as the ground cratered from the exerted force, and called out once more.
“GO, TURBO!!! CYCLE!!!”
Midosu was launched again from artillery’s chest leaving behind an M shaped socket, now a visible tether of energy flowing between them. at the same time, another sphere of green energy started forming from the tether. When it was done Midosu immediately launches himself into it, hexagonal pieces started materializing to begin building something again. once it was done and while still in the air, a black, and white armored motorcycle emerged the energy dissipating around it, with Midosu inserted into the bike’s front.
Artillery reached out grabbing the handlebars, placing himself into a riders position on the Bike and feeding his energy into it, then accelerated while still in midair.
*SKRREEEEEEEE!!!*
The tires squealing as they hit the pavement, green energy emanating and trailing from the bike as it speeds off into the fake city.
Izumi moved her arms to her sides, both of her hands in a gripping motion. as the other participants were moving toward the open gates.
Dark Clouds slowly began to form overhead.
Her hands tightened as sparks of light started emanating from them. Some participants stopped, observing the scene.
The clouds began to thunder and green lightning began to emerge.
The wind picked up, a small vortex encircling her. She drew her hands twin swords now materialized in her grasp.
She thrusts her hands skyward, the swords pointing to the heavens. The storm growing more intense.
She took a breath, exhaled and …spoke.
“…By the Power and Honor of Grayskull!”
*BOOOOOOMMM!!!!*
With a thunderous boom lightning struck her swords with Unimaginable power, traveling through them into her. With a green pillar of light engulfing her like a beacon to the heavens, after a second her voice echoed from the pillar and throughout the area.
“I… Have… THE POWER!!!”
*Slash/-Slash*
With a curved slash in an X pattern from both her swords, she cut through and dissipated the energy around her, parting the clouds above them, revealing her new form.
Where once stood a girl of 5 feet and 5 inches with short messy green hair. Was now a woman standing 7 feet tall, her curly hair more vibrant and hanging to her back. Her body covered in the Green, white, black and Golden garb of a warrior queen. A long cape flowing behind her adorned with the symbols of ancient guardian spirits. And finally with a flex, light built on her back, before exploding into a set of transparent segmented wings floating behind her.
She took a breath as the power flowed through her body, opening her eyes with a sharp determination and prepared herself.
*Crack!—BOOOOOMMM!!!!!*
With a sonic boom, The Cratered pavement was the only thing left of her that would indicate she was ever there at all.
Having seen all of that happen.
All of the other participants at the corresponding gates only had one thought running through their heads.
“…That’s just unfair.”
