1: mmmh Chicken
James| "ok I need both of you to roll stealth"
me rolls a nat 20 while my friend (Henery) rolls a 2
James| "ok (Me) gets sneaks in the base and ends up in the vault were the Jewel you were supposed to steal is and steals everything including the jewel while Henery gets caught and because hes a bird the guards decided to tie him up on a stick and try to eat him, (Me) are you going to save him?"
Me| "hmmm eehhhh maybe? hmmmmmmmmm"
Henery| "(Me) please save me I don't want my character to die this early I just made him"
Me| "ok but only because I pity you"
James|" ok roll stealth"
proceeds to roll ANOTHER nat 20
James|" how- *cough* anyway you find Henery, and the guard end up continently leaving allowing you to save him and get out of the building safely"
Henery|" are we sure you didn't rig your dice?"
Me|" uhh no? why would I?
2: "WHY WONT YOU DIE?" "Jellyfish son"
we were in a heated boss battle, and I was an artificer, I made something called "THE JELLYFISH!" what is did was heal 2d12 hp every turn, all of us were at level 20 so 2d12 was pretty good for heals bc we didn't have a cleric, the boss launched an AOE and only I was able to get the armor in order to avoid it but everyone else wasn't so lucky and died. in the end it was me and the boss. because it healed every turn THIS INCLUDED THE ENEMYS TURN! so, insert, standing here I realize with the boss either failing the check or hitting me only for the damage to be healed right after. I ended up beating the boss by making bombs and throwing them enough times.
