Chapter Text

~TOUYA~

Backstage, the four singing partners had finished their performance. Fist bumps, laughter, and congratulations spread through them.

They had absolutely killed it. The sloppiness of their practice Friday was almost non-existent, an near impossible feat considering their lack of practice since that point. Though, it possibly had to do with the pressure being released from the drama which ensued at that point.

The increased quality of their performance was especially apparent with Akito. He simply had a new vigor to his dancing and singing. This was noticed by the other three, but especially by Touya, who struggled to pull his eyes off of him and bring them back to the crowd.

Once they were ready to go, each of them stepped outside, the cool night air blowing against their sweaty skin.

“Akito, you were absolutely incredible!” Touya said, scooping up his partner in a hug and giving him a noogie.

“So were you,” he said earnestly.

Touya released the embrace and smiled at the other two.

“You two also did amazing, we’ve definitely improved from last Friday.”

The pair didn’t notice that An had pulled Kohane into a tight hug, smothering her face in small kisses.

Hehehe, An, stoooop!!!” She giggled.

She obliged, and turned to the other guys.

“Thank you! Great job, you guys.” An said enthusiastically.

The four walked away from the venue, until they reached the place they had to split up.

“You guys have a nice night. See you Monday!” Touya said and waved.

“Yeah, bye.” Akito echoed.

The two girls turned and walked away, saying bye as they did so.

Touya turned to face Akito once they were out of earshot.

“Can I walk you home?”

~AKITO~

Akito smirked.

“Yeah, don’t we always do that?”

They started walking, each pace a little more heavy as they went.

Akito looked up in the sky, seeing the few stars and planets which shone despite the light pollution oppressing them.

He felt a slender pinky against his palm. A question which he answered quickly by taking Touya’s hand into his.

The scene was calming, the two being nearly alone in the dark, moonlit city. Soft waves of wind caressed the pair’s skin and performance clothes, gently washing them with zen.

Despite this, the pressure of his partner’s hand against Akito’s own made him feel a bit nervous. He wasn’t certain why this was. They had held hands plenty of times before.

Maybe it was from the idea of holding hands with someone who he could finally say absolutely loved him no matter what. It was kind of hard to accept, that someone could love his every inch, someone who could trace every square centimeter of his soul, mind, and body, and say, “Yes, I love this person”

But Touya had all but proven that, with his truthful care when he was sick, his kind words, his wide embrace, their gentle, perfect kiss.

“Your hand is sweaty.” Touya said. It was.

“Oh… it is.” He gave a laugh, trying far too hard to sound casual, like a big-strong-man archetype.

“Knees weak… arms heavy… I guess you could say.”

He could bash his head into the concrete wall next to them. That was by far the worst attempt at a joke he’d ever said.

It seemed as though Touya disagreed, as he cracked up louder and more honestly than Akito had ever heard before.

“How do you even know about that song?” He questioned between laughs.

“It’s popular!” He whined defensively.

“Maybe we could sing an American rap song like that at some point.” He said sarcastically.

“No way, are you kidding? I could barely sing ECHO, you’d be way better than I would.”

“Oh come on, you’re not that bad!” Touya squeezed his hand.

“…Thanks, man.” He puffed his cheeks.

“And they’d probably be even more suggestive than Ifuudoudou is.”

Touya erupted into laughter again.

The two walked in a completely comfortable silence. They were a mere half a block away from Akito’s house, as it came into sight. Once they got to the front door, Akito turned to face Touya.

“Y’know, on Friday before I was being a total jerk, I wanted to ask if I could…”

He shifted his weight awkwardly.

“…Kiss you.”

Touya gave a small eye roll and grabbed onto his hand.

“You weren’t being a jerk. You were suffering.”

“Whatever, those things ain’t— muh… mutually obtrusive.”

“I don’t agree.” He said, grabbing his other hand. He gave a wink which made his partner’s heart flutter.

“And I would have kissed you if you asked.”

Akito pulled his hand away and lightly slapped his own face.

Dammit.”

Touya smiled.

“Maybe I can make it up to you.”

A short pause.

“Can I come in for a bit?”

~AKITOUYA~

Akito’s eyes widened.

What the hell did he just ask?!

Akito was absolutely not ready for… all of that. Maybe, though… there were… a few things he wanted.

Um…” He placed a wary hand on the back of his neck.

Touya seemingly realized the implications of his question, looking at his partner’s embarrassment.

“Oh… wait, you don’t—I…I mean, you can always say no,” He whispered.

“Yes, you can come in.” He said decisively.

“But no. You-know-what,” being more firm.

Touya pulled his arms rigidly to the side and bowed dramatically.

“Yes, sir.”

Akito fumbled around for his house key in his jacket pockets, and shakily unlocked the door. He held the heavy door open with one hand, curtsying into a grandiose gesture, holding out his other hands in the direction of the threshold. It was a silly pose that Touya could only ever imagine Tsukasa pulling; Not Akito.

“Ladies first.”

Touya giggled as he stepped inside, and went to take off his shoes. Akito followed his actions after shutting the door.

Touya stood up and looked down at Akito’s face.

“It's mutually exclusive, by the way.”

The redhead got up and lightly elbowed him.

“Whatever. You got what I meant.”

Looking back at his partner, he realized what exactly he had gotten himself into. His heart started pounding at the thought, the pounding vibrating up to his neck, then his head.

“Do I have permission to…” Touya squeaked.

“Yeah. But, again, none of… you-know-what.”

Touya didn’t need any more words. He pulled him close, wrapping his hands around his waist, using one to slowly pull his chest up to him.

“Woah,” Akito whispered.

Their faces were close, possibly even closer than they were in the alleyway. Now that Akito was sobered up off his sadness, the moment felt a bit more awkward than it did previously.

The two pairs of lips were so devastatingly close to touching, so close to that feeling that they had earlier. Their closeness felt more warm, more forbidden, more… lustful. They inched closer and closer, Touya’s eyes already fluttering shut, they were about to…

“Wait,” Akito said.

Touya pulled his head back and opened his eyes. He seemed a tad disappointed to be pulled away from this moment.

“Let’s—um… go to my room. Ena might see us if she—ah, comes back.”

Touya slightly opened his mouth in response.

Oh.”

God, his voice was so different from normal. That one word, said in such a soft and caring tone, caused Akito’s head to spin.

Akito pried himself off of his partner, and tightly grabbed his hand, yanking him to his room.

“Aki, you don’t need to pull me.” He said.

“Oh, yeah, sorry.”

Akito relinquished his hand and Touya followed him.

Inside his room, Akito shut the door and turned to his boyfriend, not bothering to turn the lights on.

Touya opened his mouth to ask something, but Akito shut him up by pressing his lips against his. His blue-haired head was pressed against the door as they kissed. Akito wrapped his hands tightly around his shoulders, and pressed his chest against his. Each of their hearts beat faster and faster. Had both their rib cages not suppressed their passionate, burning hearts, their two muscles would have intertwined, beating as one.

Touya responded by placing his hands back on his waist, his fingers dangerously close to the bump where his tailbone hid under his clothes. He traced a short, gentle line, back and forth, along his spine. The movement sent a symphony of chilling bumps on his skin from where he was being caressed. God, that feels good.

Akito moved his hands to unzip his boyfriend’s cream-colored hoodie until it fell around his forearms, revealing his one-size-too-big black and neon green shirt, split down the middle like his hair. He snaked his hands inside the sleeves of his shirt, tracing his shoulders and collarbone. His arms were more muscular than he recalled them being. Has he been working out? Akito always poked fun at his arms which shared more qualities with a wooden pencil than with the arms of a healthy person. His hands slowly migrated to his shoulders.

He absolutely had been working out. Maybe just the occasional pushup; they weren’t exactly the size where he would have to deny rumors he took steroids, but the feeling of his adorable, perfectly-sized body under his fingers and palms made his stomach do somersaults.

His lips, wow his lips, were so gentle, so caring, they moved with such grace, it made him go absolutely mad. But he couldn’t be prepared for what happened next. As he slightly parted his mouth to take a deep inhale, he felt a soft, foreign muscle in his mouth.

The feeling of a second tongue in his mouth was absolutely gross at first. Though, the more he explored with his own, the more it felt amazing. He tasted so great. He tenderly pushed his tongue into Touya’s mouth, their lips ruffling against each other. Touya tickled the top of Akito’s mouth with the tip of his tongue. Manifestly, that was his sweet spot, as soft whimpers crept their way out of his throat.

“T-Touya…” he cried as their lips parted.

Touya slowly pulled his eyes open to look at his partner. He was a bit of a mess. His bangs were lightly damp with sweat, his mouth was just barely opened. His cheeks were flushed with boiling blood that painted his skin. He was panting, desperate for air.

He looked so hot.

Touya gently brushed his fingers against Akito’s red cheek, beseeching him to open his eyes.

He did, slowly pulling his eyelids open. His olive irises were darker than normal, the only light reflecting off of them prying their way through the windows from the streetlights.

Touya rapidly shifted his own stormy irises to Akito’s bed, indicating an embarrassing question he couldn’t say aloud.

The redhead seemingly understood the question as he nodded.

Touya pulled his hoodie off of his forearms, tossing it to the ground, and slowly tugged his partner to the bed. The bed creaked under Akito’s weight as he slumped on the bed. Touya fell on top of him.

He placed all of his weight on Akito’s chest and stomach. The feeling of his lover’s whole body against him, holding him in place, being so secure, was absolutely amazing. The bluenette pushed Akito’s hands against his navy blue sheets, pinning him in place further. Touya scooped him back into a kiss, pressing against that spot that made him cry in pleasure.

Mmpf…” He moaned.

That’s the ticket.

The sound was music to his ears, even better than the singing he heard a mere two hours before. It caused a funny sensation to ripple through Touya’s body, from his stomach to his heart. His heart started beating faster than ever.

Akito managed to free one hand, and placed it on his boyfriend’s stomach, mashing his hand between their two bodies, tracing his belly button with his thumb. He used his hand and wrist to slowly, oh so blissfully slowly, pull his shirt up, begging for him to rip it off.

Touya released his mouth from Akito’s, allowing the latter to slip his shirt off. He did, and tossed it aside near his pillow. Akito’s eyes were forced down to stare at his perfect, so devastatingly perfect body, which still was coated with echoes of the sweat produced during their performance.

Touya clearly saw this movement, and moved up to plant a trio of kisses on his forehead, allowing him to take it all in. His well-defined chest was so captivatingly close to his face, making him so, so demented. Touya was plainly enjoying how flustered and hungry his partner’s face was becoming, lingering in the moment.

The bluenette moved his mouth to his lover’s ear.

“If you get to stare, then I get to also,” He whispered.

He slowly pulled his face back to meet Akito in the eye.

His eyes were wide open with shock.

Akito’s eyes darted around, thinking. He eventually came around, and he shyly pulled his arms up, allowing his partner to do his worst. Touya started first by pulling Akito’s zipperless grape-colored skeleton hoodie over his head. He shook his head after he did so, since hoodie collars are always way too tight. He then gently grabbed onto the hem of his crimson shirt with black English text on the breast. Slowly but surely, he pulled the shirt up, tracing a line on his stomach with his thumb. The redhead’s chest heaved faster and faster, his breath becoming more shallow as Touya rose it higher.

Eventually, Touya pulled his shirt up to reveal the bottom of his black binder.

Dear god.

The sight made him nearly die.

He couldn’t wait. He swiftly pulled his shirt off, revealing the rest of his body, his chest restricted by his dark chest binder. Looking back at Akito’s face, he had tilted his head up, his face flush with embarrassment, covered by two quivering forearms.

“Hey, Aki—“

“I’m sorry, I know, it’s…” Akito squeaked, nearly crying. He didn’t dare meet his partner's gaze.

“I think you look handsome.”

“Oh my god.” He said, and let out a small cry, which was part relief and part anguish.

Touya slowly pried his hands away from his face, pinning him down again.

“Aki. Dude. Look at me.”

He slowly did, doing everything he could to not look down.

“Remember when I said I would make sure you loved all of the parts of you?”

The redhead thought for a moment, then nodded, staring at Touya’s graphite pupils.

“This is one of those parts.”

He bent down, planting kisses all over his body, starting from the bottom of his belly button, to his stomach with a small, soft, comfortable chub, all the way to his neck. Akito’s head spun from the sensation, electricity jolting his body every place on his skin where Touya placed his lips.

“Jesus Christ, dude…” Akito whimpered, his face becoming even more flush against the light of the moon.

Touya giggled at his partner’s embarrassment. He removed his hands from his partners’, and traced all ten fingers along the surface of his body, moving up in the same way he did with his mouth. Akito’s skin exploded with excitement, goosebumps erupting again from the gentle tickling on his skin. He suppressed a small noise of pleasure.

“Do you like that?” Touya asked in a sultry voice.

Akito sighed, clearly irritated in a cute way.

“Uh… yeah,” He said at a volume lower than a whisper.

“I love your body…” Touya said in a husky tone, his eyes moving all over his body.

“Do you love it, too?”

“No,” Akito replied.

Touya moved his face back to kiss him, then turned to whisper in his ear again.

“I won’t stop showing you how much there is to love until you say you love it too.”

He kept on kissing his stomach, chest, neck, over and over again.

“You’re insufferable.” Akito groaned.

A small laugh forced its way out of Akito’s throat, a sharp contrast to his words.

“Okay, okay, god, dude! Yes.”

Touya pulled his face closer to him, pushing their foreheads together.

“Yes what? I want to hear you say it.”

Ugh… I love my body,” He quickly whispered.

“Good,” Touya said, and placed a kiss on his nose.

Touya moved his torso to smother him with his entire body weight. The sensation of skin on skin, stomach on stomach, it was too much for Akito to handle. He began gasping, faster and faster.

“What’s wrong, pretty boy?” Touya said, rubbing a thumb on his cheekbone.

Ngh… N—Nothing.”

Touya cupped his face with his hands, and kissed him again. The kiss was even better than before. Hot skin on hot skin, their tongues and lips intermingling, creating such a relaxing, warm feeling between the two.

Touya pressed on that sweet spot in Akito’s mouth, and he started singing in a way that he had never heard before. It made him go wild. It made them both go wild.

“I…I love you, Touya,” Akito whispered as he pulled away.

“I love you too,” he whispered back.

Touya slowly pulled away, planting a kiss on his cheek.

“I think we should stop before… this goes—um, further.” He sat at his partner’s legs, knees bent, his arms crossed over his lap. Akito pulled himself up, propping himself off his arms.

“Oh… yeah, I guess.”

“I have to use the restroom,” Touya said, and pulled himself off the bed to go do that, walking a bit awkwardly.

Truthfully, Akito didn’t want this to end, but they had school tomorrow. He wouldn’t have minded skipping, but Touya would rather chop his arm off than intentionally miss school. He grabbed his phone out of his pocket. It was 19:52 (7:52). Had they really been… together for nearly an hour? That’s… wild.

He shoved his red shirt over his head, and grabbed Touya’s shirt and hoodie, slinging it on his arm. He pushed himself off the bed and went to give it back. Shutting the door behind him, he saw him exit the bathroom. He threw the clothes at his face, which he managed to catch.

“Put those on before I make you spend the night,” He said, smirking.

Touya laughed, and slipped both articles of clothing over his head. The two walked to the front door, where the bluenette laced up his shoes. He turned to face his partner.

“I’ll see you tomorrow, k’?”

“See ‘ya.”

Akito grabbed him by the collar and pulled him in for another kiss.

Once they let go, Touya smiled.

“Love you,” He said, and opened the front door.

“Love you too, man.”

He shut the door, and he was gone.

Akito stood there for a bit longer than he should have, the emptiness of the house without his partner in it weighing on him. He slowly trudged to his room, where he shut the door behind him, finally flicking the lights on.

He collapsed on his bed, exhausted. All that was on his mind was his partner, how he made him feel valued, like he was actually deserving of love, like he was actually a man.

When he did, he noticed a white sheet of paper fall out of his pocket. Weird, I didn’t put that in there, he thought. He grabbed the quarter-folded sheet and unfolded it.

Reading the poem, tears scratched his corneas. That was Touya’s handwriting, no doubt about it. His poem communicated to him what he was really feeling, that he was valued, deserving of love, the only person for him.

Touya is such a dork.

Akito ran his index finger over the ink, as if his skin could absorb the teary, emotional words like a frog. He lingered over the spot where the word loving smudged downward. It was evidence Touya was writing those words, spilling his guts.

With a sigh of relief, he grabbed a blue pushpin from his school bag and stabbed the poem onto the wall near his bed.

Maybe he was right, though. Maybe he did have value, maybe he was deserving of love. Maybe he was a man.

If he went through all of that to communicate that with him, maybe he was right.

Thank god he had him in his life.

He laid on his bed for a moment, thinking about the weekend and how much life-changing crap happened in it.

The front door slammed as Ena came home from her night classes. Akito heard her creak down the hall, the noise of her footsteps coming a bit too close for comfort to his room.

She’s not about to…

She did. She busted his door open and stepped inside.

“Oh my god, what do you want???”

She gave an evil laugh to rival the most despicable villain.

“Minty, huh?”

Notes:

Omg omg it’s over!! Seriously I cannot thank you readers enough for your support, your support was what I needed to continue writing. It’s practically complete, and I’ll really only edit it if there are grammar errors, lore inconsistencies, or any plot holes get pointed out to me.

I’m likely going to continue this storyline in other fics. Please check out the other entries to the series if you liked this one!

Some stuff about the creation of this
——
-The plot didn’t have an outline (which I don’t recommend doing), so I literally just vomited whatever words I could to translate the story in my head.
-I used Akito as a bit of a self insert; I am a trans male myself and a lot of the things he says about his gender are things that I’ve thought about myself.
-It took me about seventeen days to write this.
