Chapter 7: Who whistled?
Summary:
While working on the illustrations, I had to listen to their theme songs a lot in order to stay motivated and prevent myself from starting to do something else. Of course, when Trickster says "Oh!" at the very end of the song for example, it's not exactly the same as a tapir squeak (if you haven't heard it yet, there are a lot of videos available on YT) but I can't help but feel like it was intentional.
I wanted to give the baby tapir and Trickster a similar expression. I couldn't find a good angle/position for Strangely Dark so he gets the speech bubble treatment like Trickster did in the pajamas panel.
This scene was recommended by Mel, who helped a lot with my previous illustrations too to say what they thought was a good scene to do and oversaw my sketches (at least 3 other people do that but you the most often), thank you especially.

This is my last drawing for this fic, the ending was a little too real and bittersweet for my taste so I didn't feel like doing anything from that part. 7 is quite a magical number, isn't it? I know I said I would do 4 or 5 but they grew on me a lot.
Other than working on my art book from now on, I also had the thought of writing and publishing some sort of story as well, but I'm not sure about writing completely by myself and publicly at that as well, but something might go up in the next few days. You'll know it's mine even without looking at the username because of my favorite modules.
