Bloodmoon pov
"GAH! STUPID NEEDLE!" Bloodmoon shouted, as they; for the eleventh time, failed to thread the needle they were holding.
"Prick yourselves?" Half-Moon asked looking down at them, with a mildly annoyed expression on his face.
"No, stupid needle just won't thread, makes us want to snap it again." they grumbled before stabbing the needle into the eye of the torn-up Monty plush they were holding.
Half-Moon sighed " maybe Don't do it in Sun's room then, it's probably too dark to see the hole." he said before turning back to the computer screen.
Bloodmoon huffed angrily before continuing their attempts at threading the needle. they knew Half-Moon was right; it would be easier in a brighter lit room. but they liked sewing in here.
"Maybe play with something else, I don't think that thing can take much more." Half-Moon said, squinting at the screen while typing something.
Bloodmoon glared at the plush, "the British gator's been annoying lately, asking when we will reopen..." they grumbled, angrily throwing the plush across the room.
Half-Moon groaned holding his head in his hands, "damnit... is there any chance Sun taught you how to watch children?" he questioned, probably already knowing their answer.
"Sunman taught us how to play nice, nothing more" they replied, leaning back against the bed.
Half-Moon sighed "well, at least there's tha-" he paused glaring at something on the screen. "Something just came through the portal."
Bloodmoon perked up at that, did Not-Sun come to continue their game? "we'll check it out!" they said excited. they jumped up, ready to rush out the door, when they felt Half-Moon grab their shoulder. they looked up at him confused, why would he stop them? even if this wasn't Not-Sun, they could handle it; they had multiple times before.
Half-Moon seemed a bit confused himself, as he slowly pulled his hand back, "just... be careful, we don't know what came through." he said, before hesitantly turning back to the computer.
"Fine, we'll use caution..." they muttered, quickly exiting the room.
"Brother, what is that thing." Bloody whispered, as they looked down at the weird animatronic that was walking around the daycare. it's face seemed to be stuck in a permanent smile; it reminded them of the long-nosed Sun thing that came through the portal once.
but somehow this thing was worse.
"Looks to be just an animatronic, might have some fight in it though." Harvest replied, noticing how it's fingers left fairly deep scratches in the barrel it was examining.
"Let us chase it off before the Gator returns."
"Or makes more things for us to hide" they said eyeing the barrel with irritation as the animatronic tossed it aside. if the daycare was going to have to reopen soon, they had to make sure the damage to the place was at least hidden.
they quietly jumped down into the ballpit, the animatronic seeming to be too distracted inspecting the playhouse to notice. they began slowly sneaking towards it, keeping their footsteps light. carefully avoiding the parts of the floor that squeaked or creaked or whatever other noises floors do when tread upon.
just as the animatronic started turning around, Bloodmoon darted forward, barreling into the animatronic's chest, and knocking it to the ground with a loud metallic clang that echoed throughout the daycare. and quickly pinned it's arms to the ground before it could fight back.
"What the hell-" it froze pupils shrinking in shock and body tensing up as it scanned their face.
"Who are you." they growled, the animatronic sounded way too familiar for their liking.
it stayed silent for a moment, before replying in a stilted robotic voice "my name is SolarFlare, I was sent here to inspect the daycare."
"The ripoff lies, we know you have come from the portal, so leave." they stared into it's eyes hoping to intimidate it or whoever was controlling it into leaving, Bloodmoon didn't know what it was here for, and they really didn't want to risk it harming their brothers.
'SolarFlare' hesitated for a moment. "Indeed, I have come from dimension #o609 to inspect this daycare, so I must insist you refrain from holding me down, so that I may complete the objective." it resisted, it's voice slightly strained, as it carefully tried to move out of their grip.
Bloodmoon tightened their grip on it's arms and leaned in close to 'SolarFlare's face, the Sunlike animatronic's pupils rapidly darting to the side, looking for a way to escape. "You will leave now, whether it is whole, or in pieces is up to you."
'SolarFlare' remained silent for a moment, looking Bloodmoon over, probably calculating it's chances in a fight or an escape. Bloodmoon tightened their grip more, claws now slightly digging into it's arms, it didn't cause much damage- only a few dents. but it definitely helped 'SolarFlare' make up it's mind.
"I have been ordered back, the possible information to be gained, has been deemed to not be worth the potential loss, or damage of property."
satisfied, Bloodmoon cautiously got off of 'SolarFlare's chest. they braced themselves for a fight, watching as the taller animatronic stood up, and slowly made it's way over to the ballpit. it paused at the end of the bridge, glancing back momentarily, checking if they were still there. "Get out." they snapped, stepping slightly forward in a threatening manner. 'SolarFlare' turned back towards the portal, grumbling something before disappearing into the ballpit.
after that, Bloodmoon sat there for a couple minutes- just in case that thing got any ideas.
"Half-Moon! we have returned!" they called out, as they climbed down into the living area, knocking over a couple boxes as they did so, the art supplies inside spilling out all over the floor.
the yellow door creaked open, revealing Half-Moon leaning against the doorway a concerned expression on his face. "I am glad you two are back, but I heard a crash out there, are you guys ok?" he questioned.
"We are fine, just a Lunar ripoff. nothing that could not be handled" Bloodmoon replied, walking over, and holding out an arm to prove their point. Half-Moon silently took it, carefully looking it over. he paused when he got to their hand, eyes narrowing at the flecks of orange paint stuck to their fingertips. "And you're sure that it didn't cause any damage to you?"
"Yes, yes, we are certain. the only damage that thing could do, was to the barrels." they replied slightly annoyed at the others lack of trust.
"Ok I get it," Half-Moon sighed, gently letting go of their arm. "Thank you for dealing with the portal. how about you both go get a new plush, as a reward?"
"We thank you! Mo- Half-Moon!" they yelled out excitedly, quickly climbing back up to the balcony. "Let us go brother, we needn't repair the gator plush anymore!"
