Summary
Laughter filled the orchard, a strange mixture of care and sadistic delight. "Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!" All coming from a particularly lovely Lady in Azure. "You two must be enjoying each other's company!" Her mirth subsided if only the slightest touch. "But take it from me, ease up on your other half."
"What?" The question was soft and gentle as though the winged protector of the garden could not conceive of such a thought. Why should she pull away when her precious other half was finally here?
"Obsessive love can be oh-so stifling! Keep suffocating your other half, and they'll run away!" The tone was light, yet no amount of deceit could mask the sour filling.
