Chapter Text
Currently Sera is explaining all the different types of witches, apparently I'm a medic because my earring is red. That does really make sense to me because I associate hospitality with blue, for… reasons.
Sera says there are many types of witches, such as medics(red), protectors (dark blue), psychics (teal), unmarked people (grey).
Sera is a healer, and C.C is a psychic. I wonder if she can read my thoughts. She winked at me. Holy shit. This is like my worst nightmare oh my god.
“You must be careful outside of witch villages. Hybrid villages treat witches like we treat hybrids here.” Sera explains “They harvest our holestars and use them to gain their own magic abilities.”
“Wait so if I’m a medic does that mean I can fix my ass eyesight?” I ask, PLEASE TELL ME I CAN OH MY GOD…
“Oh erm- well no one here's really asked… you could try? You saw what I did to C.C correct? Just do that.” Sera suggests. So that's exactly what I do, I put my hand in front of my face, and feel something happening in my wrists. And can see something glowing for a split second before everything goes white.
I am now blind! I cannot see shit! Oh my god! Why did I even try that!
“Evan? You good? Can you see?” Asher calls out, there’s ringing in my ears and I cannot tell where he is. Probably in the same spot he was when I blasted my face with magic!
“No. I cannot see, everything is white.” I say, then I feel someone's hand on my shoulder, I assume it's asher because I doubt Sera nor C.C would do that.
“Well, it’s okay. I’ll just guide you around everywhere!” And even though I can’t see him, I can tell he's smiling. I feel the ends of my ears go warm, and hear C.C giggle a little. Why is she giggling. I’m not thinking anything weird right? Oh god am I?
“So, speaking of guiding, ill guide you both to the guest room, Because you both sure aren’t leaving while the city is this busy.” Sera notes. I can hear him stand up, and Asher hold my hand and stands up. I do the same.
Asher guides me up the stairs and into the guest room. “Oh lawd there's only one bed. I’ll sleep on the floor.”
“Wha- no! You’re not sleeping on the floor.” plus he already looks like he’s slept on floors his whole life… C.C, who is standing outside the door giggles once again. It wasn't really meant to be funny…
“C.C quit listening in on peoples thoughts I told you to quit it.” Sera sneers.
“But bossssss! It’s fun! This kids’ funny as hell!” C.C argues.
“Stop or I'm breaking your contract for a week.” Sera commands. I never realized how… horrifying they can be.
“Fine.” C.C caves. Thank god. Goodbye anxiety! The ringing in my ears is gone now too, so that’s good also.
“Well, we’ll leave you boys alone!” Sera suggests, and before anyone can say anything he drags C.C away and we are left alone
