Arthur had made a deal with a deal with Kayne without John knowing somehow. He was furious but also a bit grateful since the deal was him getting a body of his own and Arthur getting both his sight and his little Faroe back.
What they didn't know was that Kayne would sent them somewhere in the future in Bournemouth. When they first got there they had a house to their name and money aswell. Kayne said it was nesessary so that they can watch. What Kayne meant by watch they did not know.
John remember waking up in the main room with his body but it was not a human one though. It was that of one similar to the King's and Arthur and Faroe were exploring the house but somehow ended up starting in the room where he was at. He remembers the tendril he shot at both father and daughter's eyes as to not let them see him. He remembers explaining how they couldn't see him as it may drive him made and Faroe being the ever smart little girl faced the door after that explaination.
He really loved his new life. Helping Arthur raise Faroe and just having a body of his own.
After a week of living in their new house there was a knock at their door. Arthur went to answer it while John went upstairs and Faroe was in the living room. The person at the door was an elderly lady who held a baking dish with what smelt like cake.
"Hello there. My name is Eleanor Annmarie Sims, I am your neighbor. I do apologize for not welcoming you to the neighborhood when you came I was in London for a bit of a family visit."
"Oh ah thank you very much please do come in!"
"Thank you, do you mind if I put this in the kitchen?"
"Sure, let me show you the way, my name is Arthur Lester by the way ma'am"
After they put the cake in the kitchen Arthur went to introduce Mrs. Sims to Faroe. She absolutely adored the 3 year old girl and Faroe adored her too.
"Hi little one what's your name?" Mrs. Sims asked her
"Faroe!" She said with such joy it melted Arthur, John and Faroe's heart.
"Nice to meet you miss Faroe, my name is Eleanor Sims"
"Hi miss Sims"
"You can call my Eleanor dear"
"Okay"
"Miss. Sims do you mind watching Faroe for a moment. I have a friend who lives with us but he gets a bit nervous around new people." Arthur wanted to check on John as he can see him abit, terrible hiding by the staircase.
"Alright but my name aplies to you and your friend aswell, call me Eleanor"
Arthur went up the stairs. "John what are you doing?" He asked closing his eyes but facing him.
"Arthur, there is something wrong with that lady."
"What do you mean friend?"
"She was looking directly at me but she seemed fine? And I can sense that she is not Human."
" John what do you mean not human....."
"I do not entirely know but"
"Shit I left Faroe with her!" both Arthur and John got to the living room quickly where they saw Eleanor on the couch and Faroe next to her, Eleanor was teaching Faroe how to crochet so it seems.
Faroe turned around and gasp as she saw her father and who she think to be John and soon after Eleanor turned around aswell.
John was shocked stilled as he could sense something on Faroe and the fact that Faroe was okay as she looked at him.
"Well I must say that you are new" Eleanor said as she handed Faroe the green yarn and the hook. She walked towards John who stepped back but she circled him. Arthur went to Faroe's side.
"what are you? What did you do to Faroe!" John yelled at her.
'Arthur I can sense the same presence I got from her on Faroe but it's very mild'
"I marked her so now she can see you"
"What do you mean marked?"
"When I came back home, The Mother told me to come here and once I did and you left I got my explaination. Mother has revealed who and what you both are and why you are doing here in this dimension due to a deal with an Entity known as Kayne."
"Who is the Mother and you have yet to explain what you are or what you meaned by marked"
"Ah yes, The Mother-" Eleanor could not finish that sentence as a spider dropped on her head and went near air as though it were to whisper something. "I see... Thank you Beatrice and I must apologise Mother." She said to the spider then to Arthur "The Mother says I cannot reveal who it is but I am allowed to reveal what I am. I am what can be known as an avatar or a servant of the Spider"
"Servant of the Spider? What do you want and why can't you reveal who this Mother is?"
"I cannot reveal who the Mother is or else she would end my life and I do like living you know. Quite recently my son, Joseph had a baby boy with his wife, Aadhya and I do want to be able to see that boy grow up to be a good young lad"
"Yeah! Please don't hurt her John! She was showing me how to make a blanky for me and Jonata" Faroe pleaded and John felt bad now.
"Jonata?" Arthur asked his little girl who nodded and Eleanor chuckled "she means Jonathan" the girl nodded "Yeah he's miss Eleanor grandson!"
"Now I do believe it's getting late so I must head out now. I'm willing to help with anything you need, Legal or not. And if you'll allow it may I continue to teach Faroe to crochet or knit? She seems to like it"
"Can she daddy please" Arthur sighed. " Fine you may" the girl cheered before yawning.
Eleanor walked to the door before saying goodbye and head to her house. She has a lot to plan now.
