Chapter Text
Day 3, Part 2~
You arrive in the castle's bedchambers. Still taking in the world with new, keen vampiric senses. You stand between Gabriel and Lucas.
A loud banging at your door shatters your blissful reverie. You tense.
Gabriel calls out to the visitor beyond the door, "I suggest you run while you still can."
An arrow flies through an opening in the door. Lucas hisses; the arrow sinking into his left arm.
"Open the door. Or, the next shot goes straight through his heart." The stranger responds, "Your choice."
Gabriel looks furious; his heavy step resounding from the dense stone walls as he crosses the room to confront the intruder.
The stranger is dressed in a heavy cloak, which she peels away with a sensual air. The fabric crumples to the ground revealing harnesses containing every manner of knives and weaponry.
Chance pauses, reaching in his pocket to make a dice roll. Chairemi glances at the number.
You, my dear, are a newly made vampire. All you see is a walking, talking food source. You surge forward, trapping the vampire hunter against the wall. Your eyes now the color of fresh blood.
You inhale; picking up on the traces of fear in her scent. You smile, your fangs glinting in the near darkness. "What's your name?"
"Carina," Her voice shakes, but she stands firm. She does not cower before you. Her name sounds like a purr; you murmur it into her neck. Tasting the resonance it carries.
"Would you allow yourself to be tempted by creatures like us, Carina?" Your lips meet her skin; she'd feel your devious grin when she shivers.
"All my life, I have been trained to hunt and destroy creatures like you!" Carina utters, though she doesn't turn away or try to escape your grasp.
"Hey," You whisper into Chairemi's ear, "While we're still rehearsing — are you okay with us trying out my original ending?"
You want to see Chance's artistic vision through; but you need him too much for him to get left out of this scene if the prime vampire were to die here.
Chairemi bites her lower lip, taking a moment to think before she responds, "As much as I want to workshop your ending — yeah, I'm okay with trying it out first. For now." She winks.
You smile. Lyric's eyes find yours; after overhearing your murmured conversation, he turns to stage whisper into Chance's ear.
You clear your throat, resuming—
"You must be a brave warrior," Your elongated nails slide up Carina's arm. You feel her gasp as you sever the strap of her top with one flick of your finger.
"You have the look of one who has spent their life in battle," The other strap gets a similar treatment, "Wouldn't you agree that you deserve some respite?"
"But there is honor to be found in victory over your enemies." Carina sounded less firm in her convictions than before.
"If you were sent by the village council, you should know when your sense of honor is being weaponized for selfish purposes. My father works for them. Rather than allow himself to be sacrificed to Gabriel; he sent his only child in his place."
You watch Carina's face fall.
"If you are here I can only assume the council agreed that the bloodshed must end once and for all. So they sent you; an expert." You realize how tense you are, telling yourself to take a step back.
"I didn't know," Carina breathes; her eyes darting between you, Lucas, and Gabriel.
"Now, you have a choice to make," Gabriel spoke from across the room, "Return to the village. Tell the council you never found the vampires. The castle was long since abandoned."
"You don't seem eager to fight three vampires by yourself," Lucas mused. Carina looked as though she wants to argue his point; but she relented after a moment's consideration.
You and Lucas did not yet have Gabriel's control over his otherworldly nature. Without Gabriel as your anchor; both of you could be at risk of losing control.
You had just met Carina; you didn't relish the idea of hastening her ending by accident.
"Finally," Gabriel interjected, "You could stay here. Become one of us. Enjoy everything this world has to offer as one of the undead."
Carina blinks in surprise. Turning to you in disbelief, "Surely not," Still, she found no hesitation in your expression.
"Why not?" You counter, "You're still here. You haven't tried to kill us again. There must be some part of you that finds our proposition intriguing." Your eyes wandered up and down her body.
"What are you proposing? That I willingly give up my humanity, my training as a hunter, everything I've ever known for a lifetime of…" Carina trailed off, seeming unsure of how to finish her sentence.
"Everlasting love, devotion, and pleasure?" Gabriel helpfully supplies.
Carina's mouth drops open. Lucas smirks. You can't quite hold back your satisfied smile.
Carina swallows, "You…no, you cannot mean what you say. Beautiful creatures offering to make my deepest dreams a reality cannot be anything more than fantasy itself." Carina's face flushed.
"I know it may seem fantastic," Really, you did.
"But I believe you were sent here for a reason. Perhaps it was simply for a different reason than you might have imagined," You took Carina's hand, "Can you believe that much?"
Carina looked between you, Gabriel, and Lucas in turn, "Carina," Gabriel spoke her name with reverence, "Whatever happens next shall be your choice."
Gabriel made his intentions clear to both you and Lucas. Those who accepted his gift of immortality had to be willing.
You agreed so you could seek vengeance against your father for his final selfish act.
Lucas agreed because his staged rescue attempt was not his first visit to the vampire's castle. Rather, Lucas had fallen in love with Gabriel over the past year.
His transformation had occurred one week before yours because Gabriel wanted Lucas to be ready without question or hesitation.
Carina still looked torn. Perhaps it was time for a change of tactics. You slowly reach for her hand, giving her a chance to step away. She took your hand. You squeezed hers gently.
"What if, just for tonight," Your eyes moved from Gabriel to Lucas, and back to Carina, "You joined us? So you can see for yourself what it would be like."
"How can I trust that I'll be safe with all of you?" Being trained as a hunter made her a practical sort. You appreciated that. Gabriel pulled you and Lucas into his arms. The three of you facing Carina.
"Sometimes trust has to be your choice," Gabriel explains, "I claim responsibility for my creations, and I will ensure you are kept from the threshold of death. To cross it shall be your choice, and yours alone."
"Chairemi's really playing into the conflict her character is feeling," Florence whispered to Celia.
“Her yearning is very powerful," Celia whispered, nodding in agreement.
"What say you, Carina? Will you join us?" You hold out your hand. Carina hesitates; but then a genuine smile breaks out on her face. She nods, and takes your hand.
You, Gabriel, and Lucas gather together by the luxurious canopy bed. Truly the pinnacle of Gabriel's bedchamber. You three have a much easier time divesting one another of your clothing. Carina has to carefully disarm her weapons.
Gabriel pulls Lucas against his chest. You bite your lip, watching their lips meet in a slow, deep kiss. Lucas hums, cupping his face. Gabriel tugs his hair, until the other man sighs. You settle in by the headboard. Watching them leaves you speechless.
Carina still stands off to the side. You sense her lingering reluctance. You beckon her closer. She slides into bed beside you. Your fingers intertwine.
“Still doing okay?” You stage whisper. Chairemi appears captivated by the sight of Chance kissing Lyric. Their passion drifting somewhere beyond their roles in your play.
Chairemi’s face is flushed, and she’s breathing heavily, “Mhm,” She mumbles, squeezing your hand.
“Alright if I touch you?” She’s free to say no, of course. You’d be happy to hold her hand and continue watching Chance and Lyric together.
“Yes, please.” Chairemi breathes.
A pile of clothes are scattered around the floor. The four of you arrange yourselves with care; baring all to the bedchamber. You feel Gabriel’s pull without him uttering a word; through your unliving connection. Lucas looks at Carina, his lips swollen from Gabriel’s kiss. She gasps, crawling to him on the bed when he beckons her forward.
You watch Carina straddle Lucas from where you sit astride Gabriel. Your prime vampire demands your attention, gripping your chin and drawing your eyes back to his.
“You like her, don’t you?” He’s not trying to hide this conversation. Gabriel tugs the thin silken bedsheet to the side, his cock slapping against his stomach. You take him in hand, body shuddering as you tease yourself with the plump, shapely head.
You sigh, aligning yourself just so. Feeling pleasantly full as you slide deeper onto his length. Rotating your hips to adjust yourself, you answer Gabriel when you’re able to catch your breath, “Y-yes, Sir.”
“And you love him,” Gabriel grips your hips, grunting as he sets the pace for a steady rhythm. Up and down. The deeper you feel him, the more your muscles flutter. Tensing and relaxing.
“Yes,” You sigh, bracing one hand against his chest and rocking your hips against him harder.
Gabriel groans, eyes drifting to Carina and Lucas. You realize he’s flipped her over; Carina grabs the headboard as Lucas drives into her from behind. A chorus of pleasurable sighs and groans fills the room.
Your concentration slips. Chance feels incredible like this; truly giving himself over to the machinations of his character. Lyric looks near feral with need. Chairemi’s cries of ecstasy already playing on a loop in your mind.
Time loses all meaning. Measured by only the occasional change in positions. Eventually, mindless with pleasure, Carina surrenders further. She drinks the elixir of immortality from your inner thigh.
You stroke her hair gently, groaning as her wicked tongue travels higher. Basking in their afterglow, Gabriel and Lucas watch you and Carina in your playful, pleasurable explorations.
