Chapter Text
Prem watched Ten's car disappearing around the corner with uneasiness. The emotional outburst must have been hard for the young doctor, but he still refused to come into the restaurant with him. In the way Prem understood him. The familiarity and quietness of your own home are what you need when you are emotionally exhausted. With a sigh, he walked into the house.
"You are home sooner than I thought." His grandma peeked at him from the kitchen.
"And where's your handsome doctor? Don't tell me, you sent him home." She added with a light frown. Prem rolled his eyes and then sat near the window. He let his wounded hand rest on the table, looking at his grandmother absent-mindedly.
"What happened, luk?" The older woman leaned towards him through the window.
"A lot, grandma. I don't even know where to start." Prem sighed again.
"Try it from the beginning."
"First, you were right about P'Ma. He came onto me, and it was quite scary."
"I knew it!" Grandma shouted victoriously. "Did he do anything to you?"
"Not really. But ot was weird. Anyway, I called Ten to pick me up. We went to a restaurant and he took me to the hospital to look at my wound."
"And then?"
"We met his father." Pram looked at his grandmother.
"Good. You should meet your father-in-law sooner rather than later." Grandma commented.
"We are not even dating grandma," Prem whined. The old woman rolled her eyes and nudged him to continue talking.
"Ten was so cold to his father. Later, Ten told me they don't have a good relationship because of his mother's death." Prem's eyes watered.
"I feel so sorry for Ten's dad. He evidently wants to reconcile with his son, but Ten is too stubborn to even try. I want to help them."
"Hmm. That's quite difficult, luk. You can try to talk to N'Ten about it, but with small steps. Poke here and there, don't push it." Grandma advised him.
"Okay, I will try. Now I am going to shower and sleep. I am too tired. Good night, Grandma."
"Night, luk."
