Chapter Text
Another day. Another date.
Goku sighed as he looked at the ceiling of his house, thinking about what he was going to say to the new suitor that his friends had found for him. Several years had passed since he and Chi-Chi had divorced on good terms. Their marriage was no longer working, and they also had different interests.
For example, Chi-Chi started to like Bulma, Vegeta's ex-wife, and Goku's friend; and Goku began to like Vegeta, Bulma's ex-husband. So, one night, Chi-Chi and Goku talked and decided that the best thing was to end their marriage since they no longer loved each other but saw each other as friends.
All the Z warriors were surprised by the news of their divorce, but they took it very well. After several months, Bulma and Chi-Chi announced that they were girlfriends. And after a year, they were already married. Goku was very happy for them; Chi-Chi and Bulma deserved all the love in the world, and they looked very cute together; now the only thing left was for Goku to confess his feelings to Vegeta.
Goku knew that confessing to Vegeta wouldn't be easy - since, being the proud Prince of the Saiyans, he could already envision himself with several bruises - but he was going to try.
And so he did. Their battles became long, the awkward silences became pleasant, they grew closer - more than they already were - and the glances were no longer discreet. So, during a battle, Vegeta approached Goku and kissed him. And let's just say that it didn't make Goku's heart race a thousand miles an hour.
After that, they started dating, and the only people who knew were Bulma and Chi-Chi. In reality, Goku and Vegeta had planned to keep their relationship hidden from everyone - for the time being - but the girls caught the two of them doing things that would definitely be in the porn magazines that Master Roshi watches.
So, they had no choice but to tell them they were a couple. And they were more than happy; Bulma hugged Vegeta and then Goku, congratulating them, while Chi-Chi hugged Goku with a smug look, glancing at Vegeta, who was looking her up and down with a raised eyebrow.
After four months of dating Vegeta, Goku proposed, and Vegeta accepted. They only had a small gathering with Bulma and Chi-Chi. It wasn't a big wedding since they wanted a bit of privacy.
They didn't exchange rings, but they did give a mark on their necks like the Saiyan rituals that Vegeta saw when he was a child.
So yes, Goku was married to Vegeta, but he couldn’t say no to his friends. Although he tried, and boy did he try! But his friends were stubborn as mules and didn’t want Goku to 'be alone for the rest of his life.'
The problem wasn’t that...
Well, yes it was a problem, since he was married.
Even though his friends didn’t know that.
The problem - which Goku didn’t really see as a problem - was how jealous and possessive Vegeta became after Goku told him what his friends were doing. Vegeta knew that Goku never let his dates touch him, but he always had that little green monster inside him that got jealous of every woman who went on dates with Goku to see if he could catch him.
Well too bad, insects! Goku is married to him and is very happy!
And Vegeta knew that Goku liked it when he got jealous and possessive over him. That little insect! But every time Goku told Vegeta about his unwanted dates, making Vegeta feel jealous, Goku would always look at Vegeta with a smile on his face, and then he would take his hands and kiss them, telling him that he loved him and that he would continue to love Vegeta until the end of the world.
After that, Vegeta would just walk away from Goku, giving him a little punch in the chest before turning around to hide his blush and the smile that Goku always brought out in him.
