“Oi! Yoo-hoo! Is this yours?” Called the figure, his voice deeper than what Johnny was expecting. What he also wasn’t expecting from the man with the long hair was his Italian accent. Johnny swayed to put his weight on his left arm before quickly raising his right arm to wave. He brought it down fast and called to the approaching man.
“Yo! That’s mine.” His words were fast and maybe a little too heightened in volume, but he knew his nerves wouldn't calm down anytime soon. He hadn’t been to the beach since the accident, and even worse, he hasn’t faced another surfer since then.Modern AU where Johnny used to be a professional surfer and eventually returns back to the beach, only to meet some cocky Italian surfer.
