   It’s 2013. Ten years ago the world ended, and people coped with the outbreak any way they could— mostly with drugs, alcohol and sex.
   Self destruction wasn't unfamiliar to Joel, but Cam definitely pushed the definition to the limit. And damn it, Tess was right: he can’t help himself when he sees her do another line, or skip another meal.
   He wanted to save her, even if she didn't want to be saved by him. Even if she didn’t want anything out of him besides sex. Even if he didn’t want to save himself.
