Work Text:
This party was a sham. Scratch that, this whole month had been a sham for Uzi.
Failing to kill the scrap drones (that she somehow became friends with???), learning that there actually was a company trying to erase her and her peers’ existence, and she’s actively still failing in her classes. Along with making her dad more disappointed just by neither going through with her promise to actually use the gun she made to kill the scrap drones, nor joining the door making family business (ew, why would she wanna do that?).
Actually… there was one thing (other than having actual people to be friends with) she’d been happy to get this month. The problem was that she didn’t get to actually go to prom with her actual date, as her dad decided to chaperone along with the phone-obessed cheerleader and her (honestly kinda creepy) best friend. So she sat here alone, like a loser who just got ditched during the party, waiting for her date to actually arrive.
She’d looked across the entire room about, eh, 15-16 times tops and still didn’t see her anywhere. At least it seemed like her friends were actually enjoying themselves for once. N and Thad breakdancing (or trying to in N’s case), V interacting with Lizzy somehow, and her dad talking to Doll still in the corner where nobody would hear them or see them (besides Uzi, of course). It was extremely suspicious, but Uzi paid no mind, trying to get her artificial eyes on the actual reason she didn’t just ditch the entire party at this point.
Finally, a different looking drone from the rest came in, seemingly looking for someone as well. Uzi just assumed she should see if that were Cyn who came in, or not. Honestly, either choice at this point was as good as the other in her opinion.
__________
There were too many people in here, like genuinely, Uzi could only barely get through until N and V decided to fly her up over the crowd and search for Cyn with her. She’d only gotten a glimpse of the newcomer, so she’d only gotten a bit frustrated with her current circumstances! Just a little!
Finally, N and V flew towards someone who was waving to them, and finally, Uzi could actually see Cyn in this stupid dress she’d been forced to wear by her dad (and also actually feel solid ground again, of course). She didn’t hate the dress, just that her dad actually paid attention for once on something she didn’t even want to be at!
As they landed, the scrap drones just seemed… starstruck at something? Uzi paid them no mind as she went to say hi to-
Oh.
Cyn was in fact at the party. That much was true, but her outfit…?
A silvery-gold dress that seemed to shimmer even on the parts unobscured by light that matched her golden-eyed visor, sleek black heels that might’ve been stolen from J’s corpse in the saferoom honestly (not like Uzi minded), and her maid tiara still on and somehow making everything feel rounded off about her getup.
Uzi was jealous, but she also was so, so much more starstruck than the drones who’d been with Cyn for so much longer.
“U-uh… hey?” Uzi stuttered out, unsure how to actually address her girlfriend for once.
“H-hi, Uzi. [Flustered]” Cyn said, somehow just as unsure as Uzi.
“...WELP, now that we’re all here, I think me and V are gonna… Go and talk to other party goers!” N shouted out as he pulled V along and away from the couple.
“OH, uh- yup, definitely! You two enjoy yourselves, I guess?” V stammered out as she let herself get dragged, still processing how Cyn even got any of that. Leaving only Uzi and Cyn near the entrance to the gymnasium being used for Prom ‘3071 (now with actual warnings on the juice stands!).
“So… you look nice tonight!” Uzi said as she tried to restart the conversation.
“Uh- um, thanks… You do too, of course! [Gleeful Expression]” Cyn responded, trying to steer her feelings into a better direction.
“O-oh yeah, thanks… Anyways, should we go dance or something?”
“That depends, is the music actually decent here?”
“...Define ‘decent’.”
“...Not orchestral? Or at least not something too calm right now. [Curious]”
“Oh, then yeah! It’s kinda fast right now though, just in case you-” Uzi started before Cyn cut her off.
“Perfect! I have some techniques that I wanna test out! [Excited Expression]”
“WHOA, okay! Right behind you!” Uzi said as Cyn dragged her into the middle of the dance floor.
__________
Thankfully Uzi didn’t get tired, otherwise, she was sure that all this twirling and swinging around would’ve put her in a coma 10 minutes ago. But fortunately, she could actually keep up really well with Cyn. Way better than N was doing with V, funnily enough.
A hop, a skip, and a toss before lowering Cyn, then a few dumb movements to look like she knew what she was doing, then switch. Over and over and over, for who knows how long? All she knew was that this was honestly the closest thing to fun she’d had in so long. Not just something getting her core racing, but actually something enjoyable around others that she got to experience without any vitriol.
Just this once, she could actually enjoy her night with her favorite drone right here with her. Letting her go loose while her friends shot death glares at anyone who’d judge them. After all, they were all being idiots here, that was the point after all, let loose and ignore the naysayers and feel like life mattered in this moment. Right here, right now.
As the songs became slower, and as Uzi and Cyn’s laughing fits calmed, they slowed down and just went with the flow. Only paying attention to one another, getting more and more comfortable with the stillness. With how close they were, and with nobody finally giving them the time of night to actually bother them for once…
They nearly went in for a kiss right as the lights snapped on and disoriented them for a second, before they turned their heads to the stage. With Lizzy and- erm… Emily(?) with the prom queen and king crown and tiaras respectively.
“Wh- what the hell? It’s too early for this, right?” Uzi whispered to Cyn, still held onto her like nothing changed.
“Definitely, [Suspicious], we still had an hour before the votes were tallied!”
“Yeah… Definitely suspicious…”
The crowd got more and more rowdy for getting interrupted before Lizzy came up to the mic.
“Yeahyeahyeah, I KNOW the tallies weren’t done at the right time! BUT, as the prom committee suspiciously went missing, I was the only one left to make the call! SO, I’d like to welcome our prom king and queen early! ‘Cause y’know, why wait and make everyone go through more suspense?” Lizzy explained, trying to rush through everything… for some reason.
Uzi also noticed Doll was nowhere to be, and her dad on the stage in the darkness, glaring at the scrap drones in particular. Something was off, that much came to mind, what it was, however, wasn’t. Something just wasn’t adding up.
“SO, for this years prom, I’d like to welcome N and V to the stage as our Prom’s King and Queen!” Lizzy stated, both to lukewarm reception and to a very confused N and V.
“...CLAP HARDER! OR MY DAD’LL DOCK YOUR FREAKIN’ GRADES! And you won’t get to sit with us, Rebecca!” Lizzy shouted as the scrap drones made their way to the stage. The clapping definitely got louder, that’s for sure, along with an ‘okay, I forgive them- or whatever!’ from whom Uzi supposed was Rebecca.
N and V made their way to the stage, still not understanding how they’d win something like this after, y’know, killing 25% of this bunker? They tried to brush the thought aside as they made it towards the middle of the stage, where Emily gave them their crown and tiara respectively, along with a quiet ‘congrats!’ from the meek drone.
“...Uhm..?” V tried to start on the mic before N grabbed it, somehow overjoyed he and his girlfriend were already starting to change the drones’ minds. At least, he hoped they were!
“Thank you so much for this! Frankly, I don’t get how we even got to this point, but I’m sure that we can try to stay on our best behaviors and have a great night with the rest of you, if you’ll have us?” N beamed, as some people actually started to clap genuinely for him. Wow, what a charmer!
As the party started getting good again, nobody noticed a red-eyed drone glaring at the stage in the darkness, giving Khan a signal to do… something? But everyone noticed the wooden buckets with magnets fall from the ceiling, stunning the scrap drones still going with the flow of the party.
As everyone started getting nervous and confused, Doll had stormed out from the dark with a cleaver, ready to finish the job her mother started long, long ago. She wanted to kill V in particular, obviously for doing the finishing blow on her mother. How Uzi could find such an awful choice in friends was beyond Doll, all she had to do was fit in and join her dad! That’s all!
As Doll jumped from a table into the stage, already poised to jab V in the core, Uzi tossed Cyn into her, disorienting Doll and cutting her off from her goal. Just for a bit, of course.
Uzi ignored how her dad genuinely gawked at her for her audacity to actually stop Doll from finishing the job as she checked on her girlfriend.
“Hey, uh- you okay?” Uzi asked as she felt regret for tossing Cyn as her first thought to stop Doll.
“I’m- I’m fine! How are the others?” Cyn asked, still gaining her bearings.
“Out of it, but as long as we give them time, they can get the magnets off! We need to stall Doll for just a bit!”
“Got it! But uh- she’s just been looking at us for the last few minutes… Should we- uh…”
“Ughhh, fine! What do you want out of this, Doll?”
“What I should ask is why you are helping them? They took too much from us!” Doll growled as Uzi stared at her, dumbfounded.
“BITE ME! You know they had no choice!”
“They did or did not, this changes nothing to me. Neither does you dating one of them.”
“They’ve treated me better than any of you ever did! It’s so ironic, the killer drones actually ended up being better people in the end!”
“‘BETTER. PEOPLE? Really? You think killing a quarter of us is better than anything we did to push you in a-” Doll started as she did a dry chuckle at the audacity for Uzi to suggest such a thing, before Uzi cut in.
“DON’T. You and Lizzy of all people should know that it was all for your benefit! You’re just mad I won’t back down this time! Not when I have too much to lose!”
“Hmph, guess I should have known you would be this way. Lizzy?” Doll said towards Lizzy as she lingered behind Uzi with a blade.
“What- WHOA!” Uzi went to ask before dodging a slash straight at her core by the cheerleader behind her.
“Oops! Oh well, guess you chose wrong, emo freak!” Lizzy said as she went to charge Uzi again, before Cyn kicked her leg and snatched the blade as she went down.
“Huh, guess that makes sense. Oh well, guess you have to die, preppy idiot.” Cyn mocked Lizzy as Doll glared.
“Touch her, and you’re first, demon. Do not think I forgot how you lured so many of us to our demise.”
“Yes, yes, [Annoyed Expression], I could give you the same talk about how I had to, but after the pitiful performance? I think I’d rather just fight.”
“Y’know what? I agree!” Uzi said as she pulled out her pulse-shot gun (a direct upgrade, now made to cause less property damage!).
Meanwhile, Lizzy got bored of the chatter and went to the stage while pulling out her phone, now that everyone left from the party getting ruined.
__________
“OW, my arm!” V yelped as N tried to pull off another magnet.
“Oh- sorry! These things are just the worst, y’know?” N said regretfully, as he tried to pull off another magnet from his girlfriend more gently.
“It’s- it’s fine. Just sucks is all, I actually thought being ‘better’ would help at least a little.”
“Well, look how the crowd reacted to us on stage! I’m sure they’re coming around! We just need a bit more time, right?”
“Yeah, right…”
N sighed as he continued. “Look, if we stop Doll, then we could just… dance here alone later? Nobody but us. That sound good?”
“...Yeah, yeah it does.” V said relaxing as much as she could with a bunch of magnets still on her and N. Moreso her, but still.
Jeez, this girl must genuinely hate her just to do all this for her alone! She’d understand that, but N? The golden retriever who’d just make anyone he was around feel so much better? That pissed her off. Way more than anything the company ever made her do.
“Not on my watch, foul sky demons!” Khan shouted as he raised a wrench towards N’s head, ready to get his revenge for his wife’s death.
*ZRRK*
…And he went to the floor just as fast as he came in. With Lizzy behind him…?
“You freakin’ traitor!” V shouted toward Lizzy as she tore off another magnet.
“Yeah yeah, love makes you do crazy things, I know. But can you blame me? Doll still looks hotter, even if you’re kinda cooler personality wise.” Lizzy explained.
“Wow, you’re just so shallow, you know?” V said as an argument started between her and Lizzy, the magnets now forgotten about, along with the fight between Uzi, Cyn, and Doll happening in the gymnasium below.
…Welp, N didn’t know what to do other than silently help V in her own fight, apparently one to the death. The death of her murderous reputation or Lizzy’s popularity status, of course…
__________
…As Uzi slammed into a wall and pushed herself back into Doll, trying to stun her long enough to get a good shot, as Cyn looked for something else to swing at her.
Doll dodged out of the way and grabbed Uzi by the ankle, slamming her into a table, and taking her out of the fight for just a second.
“UZI!” Cyn shouted as she looked towards her girlfriend going into stasis inside the remnants of the table in front of her.
“Hmm, that solves one, for now.” Doll stated as she grabbed Uzi’s gun and readied it towards Cyn, getting ready to get one final monologue in.
“...You out of the three demons I wanted dead are the only one I feel bad for. A poor drone with no power, no security. And only one dysfunctional family that will only forget you.” Doll said as she charged the gun near the end of her speech.
“...No, [Frustrated], you’ll be the one forgotten. A blip in the timeline long abandoned by those who acted like they loved you. Being so shallow only goes so far, you know?” Cyn argued, somehow buying some time. Guess her ego is just too shot to forget this once.
“Forgotten? No, everyone respects me, everyone listens to me! Everyone but that freak! ‘Oh daddy, I want to kill the sky demons! Oh Dolly, I miss our parents! Oh sweet little demon, I love you so much to abandon our colony for’!” Doll mocked, as she started strutting around, pissed beyond belief that anyone would actually take Uzi’s side in anything! Especially in a drone who’s only been shallow to-
“Uhm, sorry, Dolly?” Lizzy said as she slammed two magnets onto her best friend, taking her down instantly.
“OOF, You treacherous idiot!” Doll exclaimed as she was left defenseless on the ground.
“Uh huh, say Vee-vee, you think we should reschedule the prom for next week, same time?” Lizzy calmly said as she talked to V, giving the other half of her attention to the phone in her hands.
As the trio of N, V, and Lizzy left, N and V holding hands, Uzi came to and got off the table, earning a gleeful hug from Cyn.
“Thank robo-GOD you’re okay. [Relieved]” Cyn said, nuzzling her head into the side of Uzi’s.
“Yeah yeah, whatever!” Uzi said as she tried to mask her chuckling and little smile forming.
As they started to calm down a bit, they both turned their attention to both the white eyed drone to Uzi’s left, and the red eyed drone behind Cyn.
“...Dad…?” Uzi wearily said, heartbroken towards her already disgraceful father, now conflicted on what to do now.
“U-Uzi, I c-can e-eee-xplain!” Khan stuttered, his systems much more laggy from the magnets on his head.
“Bite me… You’ve done enough. As for YOU!” Uzi said dejectedly, as she turned violently towards Doll, still struggling on the floor.
“Oh pity you, we were doing the right thing. You would know if you would just listen-” Doll explained, before yet again getting cut off by Uzi.
“NO! I refuse to hear your bullcrap anymore! You’re lucky I don’t blast both of you with my gun!”
“Wh- b-bb-ut ev-vvenn you’rrr-e own fff-fath–er?”
“You left me to die, then tried to help her kill my friends and girlfriend! You really think I’m that stupid?”
“...No, but I guess I am.” Khan said as a magnet was kicked off by Cyn, finally separated from Uzi.
“Yes, yes you are. Now then, anything you want to say, ‘Dolly’?” Uzi said mockingly, just to get back at Doll just a bit more.
“Screw you, Doorman. I can finish this myself! With, or without your support!” Doll said as she tore off the magnets on her head and dashed for the exit.
“WH- oh come ON! I just want one second here without a surprise twist! Just one!” Uzi shouted, as she and Cyn ran after Doll, already knowing where she’d go next.
“...Huh, she didn’t mention she had a girlfriend… I could’ve sworn that she and Thad would get together.” Khan said as he got ready to pull off the magnets on his own.
__________
Uzi was already frustrated having to have her night ruined by an idiot who wanted revenge, but was even more angry that she wouldn’t give up already! I mean come on! She lost, that was final! Nothing she did would salvage her reputation, the bruised ego, or even how painful it probably was to have her best friend ditch her. Uzi already knew that pain, however.
As she and Cyn turned the last corner, they saw Doll already rushing into her unit, slamming the door behind her. Uzi found it humorous how blindingly obvious Doll was still all these years later.
A part of her wished Doll hadn’t ditched her for Lizzy, or heard how much Doll started falling in love with her so fast. For someone so shallow, Uzi didn’t get the appeal. But she accepted it, and look how that turned out! A shattered friendship, an attempt on her and her friends’ lives, and Doll trying to kill her girlfriend. None of it mattered anymore, it never would after tonight.
Uzi would grieve, and would move on, like she always meant to. Now that people supported her again, she’d try. She has to, no matter what.
…She pushed the thoughts down as she and Cyn made it to the door, and heard banging from their right. Uzi turned on a dime, pulling her gun up as she saw-
..N and V? With… Lizzy. Ew.
“Whoops! Uh- we’re all good here! Please- put the.. gun down?” N said as he raised one of his hands in surrender, the other still interlocked with V’s.
“OH- uh… Hey? Where’d you all come from?” Uzi said as she lowered her gun.
“We just left before hearing you shout after the creepy b—tch. Ugh, tell me again why I need the censor again?” V explained, still peeved about the bunkers’ rule on ‘no swearing from school-goers’.
“Beats me. In any case, why is she here???” Uzi asked, still confused on why Lizzy followed.
“Look, I hate you and all, but I kinda need to talk to Doll, so- uh… Scootch over, stupid!” Lizzy said as she shoved Uzi out of the way and tore the door open before-
…What. The. Fuck…?
The room was covered in scribbles, oil, and torn papers.
‘The demons will pay.’ ‘How could Uzi betray me like this?’ ‘When is the company sending its backup?’ ‘Did I get anything from Lizzy today?’ All were scrawled across the walls, showing just how far gone Doll went in her psychosis. Truly, Uzi might’ve dodged a bullet for once! Both literally and figuratively as she pulled herself, Cyn, and Lizzy(???) down from a bullet flying into their visors.
“...WOW, just peachy Doll! You know we don’t have to kill anyone right now, right? We can fix this! You of all people know that time-” Uzi started to try and reason before Doll cut her off.
“-Will not fix our problems. This time, I need to see their heads roll. I need my vengeance, you moronic brat!” Doll shouted towards the group, urging them to either leave her to her devices and risk a shot in the back, or walk further into the trap ahead.
“Come on, Dolly! I know this all hurts, but if you let me-” Lizzy started before-
*BANG*
…Doll shot her square in the visor to bleed out.
Welp.
“Oh now that is just ffff-fucked up!” Uzi said, breaking her censor in a frenzy as she readied her gun towards the dark and charged it. Revealing…
…Oh no.
“She will come back, just like my parents have. Just like you will. I can make this easier on you if you let me finish this.” Doll said illuminated, along with reanimated versions of her parents, only barely hanging on with the control chips on their visors.
“HOW FUCKED UP DID YOU GET FROM THIS????” Uzi screamed as she slammed backwards into Cyn, who caught her in her stupor.
“They will send backups, Uzi. We can’t keep saving these things. They will only make the inevitable happen faster. You cannot run from fate, you can only fight it, or succumb. I will not let them take away our home, even if I have to defile my parents’ deaths!”
“Bite me! You know we had a better chance to win the moment they helped me! We killed the jobber! They’re free! You just have to-”
“Enough. I will fix this, and make you see reason, by your own view or mine.” Doll said as she sent the mindless drones at Uzi and Cyn, before V pulled them back, switched to her gun hands, and shot at their control chips, sending them back into their permanent slumber.
“Screw you! I should’ve ended you with them!” V shouted at Doll, trying to lure her out.
“You- YOU MONSTER!” Doll screamed as she lunged through the door towards V, as she dodged to the side, causing her to slam into the wall.
Well that sucks for her I guess.
“...Why Doll? You could’ve just talked to me. You know I wouldn’t have held the past against you for it. There were so many better options than this.” Uzi said, her resolve finally crumbling as she raised the gun toward her old friend.
“I gave you a chance to follow me. *HHRK* But you just stayed behind, I tried to grow up. And you resisted change. I have nothing to fear when I am gone. I have nothing left to lose… But you will suffer when they get here. You will lose it all, and you will feel my pain.” Doll painfully explained, knowing how this ends.
“You don’t have to give up, you can change… You can fix this! Fix what happened between us!” Uzi pleaded, charging the gun and slowly pulling the trigger.
“It ends with you, Uzi. It always will. Love, trust, even my faith in the future. It will always end with your cowardice. Do what you will, but I know I am right in the end, and everyone you love will die because of-”
*SHHHHRRIIIIIIING*
…And Doll was no more. Even if she were right, nothing she did in the end would fix tonight, nothing.
“...Uggghhh, whuh- wha happened?” Lizzy said as she shakily got up, still gathering her bearings.
“HUH? But- I thought-” Uzi stuttered seeing the cheerleader seemingly brush off a shot to the visor… That doesn’t even make sense!
“Yeah yeah, you underestimate me and all. I get it!” Lizzy said as she got her phone out, somehow nearly just fine.
“..You know Doll just died, right?”
Lizzy seemed to falter, before continuing on like nothing happened.
“...I’ll get over it, right?” Lizzy said, trying to get her emotions back in check.
“Sure, sure… Everyone else okay? Anything actually hit at all?”
“Nope!” “Of course not!~” “I’m good.” N, V, and Cyn responded all together.
Relief swept over Uzi as she saw almost everyone she cared for (and Lizzy) just fine. But now she had one last dilemma to process.
“...Anyone going in there with me?” Uzi said as she turned back towards the door.
“Nope! Sorry…” “Nuh-uh.” “Not happening.” N, Lizzy, and V said, yet again, simultaneously.
“...Okay then. Cyn?” Uzi muttered, as she turned towards her girlfriend.
“Uh- sure..? Lead the way. [Fearful Expression].” Cyn said, already dreading what they’d find inside, as everyone else except for Uzi took over watching the door.
Not like anyone would come in after the blast (and more property damage, jeez). Only then did Cyn realise…
Uzi shot the gun at full power.
…Oh well, sucks to suck she guessed.
__________
The unit continued to repeat the same scrawling across the walls. Uzi assumed Doll did this for about a month…
Basically near the time she befriended the scrapper drones… Huh. Obsessed much?
As she and Cyn neared the kitchen, Uzi saw it. A bulletin.
One that matched her own back in her room. Scrambled writings all matching to one source:
‘JCJenson, the main headquarters’ with a picture of a building she’d never seen before, and a red circle around it. Red string all around it, with sewing needles holding them in place. It was messier than hers, that’s for sure! Almost like she was in a rush-
*ERRRSHK*
“Doll, Doll you there?” A familiar voice seemed to blare through a… walkie talkie?
Wow, real subtle.
Cyn immediately picked up the walkie talkie and pushed the button to speak to the faceless voice.
“...J? I thought you were dead [Confused]?” Cyn said to J, somehow long since alive from the grave.
“Oh corporate mutinies! What are you doing here?” J said, genuinely confused on how her cover was blown oh- so- easily.
“We should ask you the same, y’know?” Uzi said as Cyn pushed the button in again.
“Hmph, as if I’d let a corrupted toaster like you know anything after you killed me! After all, not much of this’ll matter after too long! Corporate swears it!”
“Yeah yeah, like I wanna hear any of your stupid corpo rambling. Bite me!” Uzi said before nearly breaking the talkie, before J interjected.
“NO, wait! The others need to hear this! Wait a minute!” J shouted through the talkie, trying to get one last message to the others.
“...She’s listening.” Uzi said, pulling the talkie back to Cyn’s head.
“The company is sending a new squad. Apparently you all are being decommissioned. I’m warning you, let Uzi die before you do.” J said as Cyn took the talkie back and slammed it into a wall, breaking a hole in it and shattering the talkie itself.
“...No, I won’t harm her again. Not this time. [Determined Expression]” Cyn said resolutely. Nothing would take away this chance for her. Nothing.
“Okay that was sweet and all but WHAT THE HELL CYN? We needed her for answers!” Uzi shouted in pure confusion.
“And we have them! Everything she would’ve given us was written by the psycho on the bulletin!”
“...Oh. I thought it was gibberish like my mom’s writing.” Uzi said as Cyn turned back towards the bulletin, leaning into it.
“It is, but it still makes sense to me. It’s stuff about… the planet getting destroyed, the company finishing our jobs by replacing us with backups from this planet… and a new ice cream place on one of our comets?” Cyn explained, reading off everything still legible.
“Why would we need… Whatever! We’re fine! We can take anything they dish out at us, right Cyn?”
“This is the company we’re talking about, you know. [Fearful Shiver], They could do anything to us, use any assets we never even got a glimpse at, everyone on this planet isn’t safe! I don’t know how-” Cyn started ranting as she spiraled, before Uzi grabbed her shoulder, turning her attention to her instead.
“...How about we deal with that tomorrow? I think we still have a party to finish! I mean- if you’ll have me?” Uzi redirected, trying to focus on something more positive.
“[Giggle], Sure, but what if your dad is still there?”
“Eh, he’ll get over it! Come on!” Uzi said as she dragged Cyn by the hand out of the room, back towards the gymnasium, V and N following right behind already knowing the plan, and Lizzy staying behind to… actually honor her best friend?
Huh, I guess she did care in the end!
And yet, Uzi knew that things wouldn’t stay ‘good’ forever, they never did…
…But she wanted tonight to at least end well, if not for her sake, then Cyn’s. A clearer mind was able to think through stuff better, after all!
She could push this off until tomorrow. Because tonight was meant to be enjoyed, regardless of any spineless revenge plots getting in the way. She would enjoy this, no matter what.
It was only fair to end a bad month on a good note. Actually…
It was fair to end a bad day on a better note. One she got a choice in. And one that she, her girlfriend, and her friends could enjoy alone.
Just like how she liked it.
