          Chapter 3:

               April 9th, 2004

                Sabrina’s POV

I had my seventeenth or eighteenth chemotherapy session and I felt quite different about today. I knew that something was going to happen, but what could it be? I hope he has to tell me that he’s a vampire and whatnot. I just want to be with him and let him take me, forever. I notice him watching me from across the room for the whole two hours and he was definitely not creepy stalker type. I didn’t speak and neither did he.  Once the two hours were over, the iv out of my arm and I stood from the recliner. This was it. I just knew as he had that look on his face. It was time to tell him the truth. He smiled as he didn’t walk towards the door. He will definitely tell me here and now. I couldn’t wait to tell him that I know. I need to focus on what he has to say, before I can say anything in response.

“I know this isn’t—legal to do and I did tell you that I would wait until after your chemo was done, but it can’t wait anymore.” He said, extending his hand towards me and I take it. “I can’t say anything here, but if you’re willing to have dinner with me and we can talk privately. It’s not about hospital related, I promise.” The vampire seemed nervous.

“Sure. Where were you thinking of meeting? And what time?” I asked. “I have to help cook for Charlie and his friends tonight at his place. I think they are coming about—.” I looked at my watch. It was in four hours that Jake and Billy would be at the house. “Four hours. At seven.”

“Then how about at eight? Is that too late for you?” I shook my head as he pulled me close into his arms. That’s when I lean against his chest and he kissed the top of my head. “Sorry, I don’t know what came over me.” He pulled away slightly as I whimpered from the loss of his touch.

He leaned down as tall as he was, I was still a few inches shorter than him and kissed me passionately and heavily. I felt his hands move slowly down my back and onto my butt cheeks. He growled as he asked for entrance inside of my mouth and I accepted before I felt our tongues explore together. That’s when I felt it. Sparks! He was the one I was meant to be with and I was to be his forever. Literally!

We pulled away as he smirked and kissed my temple. “I’ve been waiting forever to do that.” He laughed. “I suppose for dinner, why don’t you surprise me, yeah?” This time he slapped my butt whilst he grinned like a mad person—vampire. “We really do have to talk and what this is all about thus, if you want to hear it. I want to be honest with you, Sabrina. So, I hope tonight you will let me in and I can tell you everything. If that’s what you want?” I nod, as I was lost in speech. “Good. Because after tonight, I can’t be parted from you.” He kissed my lips again.

He can’t parted from me? What is he on about? Crazy vampire he is.

“I will see you in a few hours, alright?” I nod. “Then, I can kiss you all over your body as I hear your whimpers lost without my touch.” I shivered.

“I can’t wait!” We kiss passionately before we pull apart. “There’s something I have to tell you too. So I guess we both have a lot to say tonight.” He pecked my forehead.

“Now go, before someone sees us. Only a few hours until you’re back in my arms.” We turn towards his office door, before he opens it for me as the gentleman that he is.

As I walk away, I notice no one else is around and quickly give him a glance as he winks lovingly at my body. I make my way to the parking lot, getting in my 1990  Honda Accord and it was in great condition thanks to Jake. I had to go back to the grocery store and get another package of steaks as I wanted to surprise him that I knew about him being a vampire. Once I got the items I needed, I went out to my apartment to drop off my bags and decided to call my sister as I hadn’t talked to her in a couple of weeks.

“Hey” Bella said on the other end. “What’s up? How’s it going with the chemo stuff?”

“It’s been good. Might finish it earlier than I expected, but we’re not sure yet.” I smiled thinking of my smoking hot doctor even though he wasn’t technically mine yet he already was mine.

“How’s Charlie?” She asks as I take one of the steaks from the packaging and slab it onto a plate. Not cooked, just left it raw and some of the blood that was in the packaging and pour a bit of it onto the plate.

“Dad’s fine as always. Jake and Billy are coming to his place tonight so I have to go over to cook their steaks. I got some extra in case they want any more later.” I let her ask me by the hints I left in my sentence.

“Are you not gonna be at dinner tonight? You’re always there, Rina. Did something happen?” I kept silent. “NO! Are you serious, Ri!? A date?” She screamed with excitement.

“Well, it’s kinda a date but also not a date. We aren’t exactly official and we can’t because it’s not safe.”

“What do you mean it’s not safe?” I let my baby sister figure it out. “He’s the doctor, isn’t he!?”

“Yeah, it’s him.” I took a breath. “You can’t tell mom anything because he would get in trouble. And Bells, I really like him.”

“I don’t tell mom much anymore. So she’s upset with me. Have you told Charlie?” Dad would be a bigger problem than Renee.

“No, I have never said who my doctor was or much about my chemotherapy at the hospital. I left dad in the dark and kinda what dinner was supposed to be about.” I sighed as I realized that I couldn’t tell him anything more than my results for the cancer.

“Now you can’t because of the doctor. Wait, is he hot? How hot is he?” We both giggled. “You didn’t say how it started either.”

“First, he is very hot!” She laughed. “Well, that’s what I mean by we aren’t official yet. Because, Bella, he’s the one doing my chemotherapy at the hospital.” I hear her gasp. “He was the only one who knew what my cancer was, offered that I do my sessions in a recliner that was placed in one corner of his office. So the last two months, we’ve had small talk and sometimes he stares at me like—he won the prize or something.” I try to hide as much as I can.

“Oh wow! But what’s the reason for tonight if it’s still illegal for you both?” I knew the answer but I couldn’t tell her.

“I am not exactly sure and I think he’s doing it because he likes me too much to handle waiting and wants to tell me outside of the hospital setting.” I hope she accepts that lie.

“Yeah, I understand why he would talk to you outside a hospital.” I sighed as she huffed. “You know I won’t tell anyone, right?” I knew she was telling the truth.

“Thanks, Bells. I just really want this to work out. He is a few years older than me, so that’s kinda a new thing about him.” She groaned.

“Now, that’s definitely really hot! Do you know how much older he is?” I chuckled. I really didn’t exactly know how much older Carlisle is than me.

“No, I wish I knew. But I will ask him once we start talking tonight.”

“Will you tell me tomorrow about your conversation?” I packed the other steaks and went out of my apartment to my car.

“Yeah, I will. I am about to leave my place to head to dad’s. Then I will text you when the doctor is almost at my place, yeah?”

“Yes, definitely text me so I can time it and text when he’s gone.” I laughed. She really was interested.

“Sure, Bells. I will definitely do that.” I set the bag down on the floor of my car. “I need to get to dad’s, but I need a bit of help choosing an outfit for the hot doctor. My short short skirt that will show or some of my tight shorts that will definitely show.” Bella has a laughing fit. “I know, but I’m serious.”

“Okay, okay. But have you kissed him already?” I was definitely quiet now. “Oh, you have to be kidding me!? When? This afternoon before you left, right?” I didn’t speak. “Rina, you didn’t start this conversation about how you got a date and that’s what you skipped and went straight about the date.” My sister huffed. “Okay, you tell me right now… I need the details.”

“Fine. But I really need to get to dad’s, so I will speak as loud as I can whilst I drive, alright?” She agreed before I told her the conversation that happened at the hospital when he asked to meet me away tonight. She was laughing, moaning and screaming with excitement that I had already been kissed by the doctor before we even started dating. I finally arrived at Charlie’s house and glad he hadn’t gotten home yet. “So, he has things to tell me and it wasn’t appropriate to be heard at the hospital. I suppose he couldn’t wait to kiss me that he just had to do it in that moment. I’m nothing special, Bells. But, apparently to him, I am. I will see when he comes over. Now, once dad and Billy get to the house, I have to lie about why I can’t stay. I think—.” I couldn’t tell the vampire and LA Push thing that Jake had told me about. “I think dad would get angry that I was seeing the—doctor, so I definitely can’t say anything about him to Charlie.” I got out of the car and looked at my watch. It was now 5:45 pm and I wanted to be home for at least an hour before Carlisle came over.

“Definitely the skirt, then.” Bella was laughing again. I’m glad I made her day sound exciting.

“I will wear that and who knows if any talking will get done tonight—if anything.” We giggled. I began to use the stove and cook the first steak.

“You’re so bad, you know that?” It was my turn to laugh.

“Well, it’s not like I haven’t dated before, Bells. But it seems that he’s serious about possibly being in a relationship with me and he’s quite a gentleman.”

“And he isn’t a stupid teenage boy, he’s a man, Rina! A man who will want you and possibly want to marry you.” My sister was probably right. He would want to marry me, eventually.

I hear a car pull into the driveway. Charlie. He’s early. “Yeah, maybe in the future we will be. It barely even started to be a relationship, Bells. So honestly, I have to see where all of this goes in the next couple of months.” The front door unlocks. “Dad’s here. Wanna talk to him before I hang up?” I ask her as to say ‘we’ll talk later.’

“Sure. Yeah, we can talk later.” I hand the cell to my dad as he greeted me with a kiss on the top of my head.

He talked to Bella for a few minutes before he hung up my cell and gave it back to me.  “So, how’s your chemo going?”

“It’s fine. I have a blood test next month to see how much more I have to do and it can determine if I have keep doing chemo until July. Because the doctor said that the chemo will take five months. But since I go twice a week, they will check with the blood after the three months are over.” I only said what I needed to and I hope Jake and Billy came soon so I could leave back to my apartment.

It was 6:25 pm now. And I rather get ready for the doctor than wait for Billy and Jake. I continue to cook the steaks and soon enough ten minutes before seven, Billy’s car came up the drive and he parked it next to mine. I was glad that they came early because I couldn’t wait any longer to leave and wait for Carlisle. Dad and Jake helped Billy into the house as I finished putting the steaks on a plate each for them.

“How are you, Rina?” Billy asked after his wheelchair was set to the ground. “Chemo working well?”

“Yes, it’s been doing good, I suppose. I have a blood test next month sometime to see if I need to continue until July or not.” I smiled as big as I could but I think Jake noticed.

“That’s good to hear, Sabrina. Dinner smells good! Is it steak?” He asked excitedly as I nodded. “She knows us so well, doesn’t she, Charlie?” Billy and my father laughed together.

“She does, doesn’t she?” Dad says, as he gave me a hug. “Why are there only three steaks, Rina?”

This was it. I had to lie so I can leave. “Well, a friend from school called and saying she was coming in today and wanted to see me. It’s her only night here, so I will not be joining you for dinner. She’s coming by eight, so I gotta run. I’m sorry I can’t stay.” I kissed dad on the cheek, hugged Billy and Jake before I almost walked out the door, dad called out to me.

“Have fun tonight, Rina! Don’t worry about us. We got this.” He had always been sarcastic and I smiled before I walked out the door—finally.

I drive off as quickly as I could to my apartment, parked in the lot, and headed up the stairs to my apartment then quickly got in before I locked the door with its bolt. 7:05 pm. I had to hurry. I put the raw steak in the fridge and left my uncooked steak in the pan. Then headed in the shower with my new pair of clothes; including the skirt that was way too high and stopped below the end of my bum cheeks. This will drive him crazy! I cleaned and shaved every part of me just to be safe, for tonight and for him.

I definitely have the hots for him. This will definitely end in marriage. I laughed at myself.

                        ______________ _______________ ______________ ______________ ______________ __________________

7:45 pm. I am half way with cooking my steak and putting the library books away in my rucksack so he wouldn’t notice that I had researched about vampires. This was gonna be it. After tonight, I know that I would be by his side everyday and every night for eternity. And that doesn’t scare me one bit as I know he will protect, love and cherish the woman that will love him wholeheartedly. I think about him as the minutes decrease closer to eight pm.

7:59 pm and as the time changed to 8 pm on the dot, a knock on the door indicated that he was here. I texted Bella fast and said that he had arrived and I will text later. I walk quickly to the door, unlock the bolt and open the door to see him stand so handsome in a dark grey dress shirt buttoned down, black wool silk-like trousers and his hair was still the same.

“Hi.” He says, a smile that made my knees weak.

“Hi. I had just finished making the dinner.” I caught my breath. “Come in, please.” I say as I move away for him to walk in. Carlisle walked into the apartment before I closed the door and locked it so no one saw us together.

We walk towards the kitchen, as both plates are hidden from his sight, I wanted to make sure that my father, Billy and Jake were okay at Charlie’s place. He looked at closed and locked window and smiled before he turned back to look at me.

“What’s the matter?” I asked, sweetly.

“Your window is closed and locked. Just curious.” The hot doctor smirked as I laughed.

“Well, since Charlie is the chief of police, I kinda have to do it for safety reasons.” I sighed. “If I don’t, I won’t hear the end of it.” He chuckled. “I should check on them because I’m usually there cooking second helpings of steak or something. I hope that’s okay with you?”

“No, please. You should call and make sure they’re okay.” Carlisle smiled as I dialed Jake’s cell.

“Thank you.” I smiled back as I heard Jake answer the phone. “Hey. I wanted to check and make sure that I didn’t have to come over and cook another serving or not.”

“No, sissy. You’re good. We’re glad you cooked extra steaks and we’re totally fine here. Just watching one of the games. Has your friend arrived yet?” I had to lie.

“She will be here in a few as she got lost. What a shocker. She used to live here and she got lost coming to my place.” I hope he bought that lie.

“Your friend has been away too long, so she probably forgot the area since being in college in another state.” Jake says as I laughed.

“Yeah, I said the same.” I sighed. “Alright, if everything is good, then I should go. She will be here soon.” Another big lie.

“It’s all good here, Ri.” He laughed. “Oh, they both say hi.”

“Tell them the same for me and tell my dad I will see him next week sometime. I have some work to do at home and I need finish some stuff at the library.” A third lie of the night.

“Sure, sissy. I will tell him. Love you, RiRi.” Jake said jokingly.

“Gotta go, man child. Later.” I hung up my cell before he could respond and looked up at the smoking hot doctor. “I’m sorry. I worry too much about them and that they don’t burn the house down.” Carlisle laughs and nods to agree. “So, how about we start the dinner? I am famished.” I had a small round table against the wall on the outer part of the kitchen. “Please sit and let me grab the plates.” I can’t wait for his reaction.

“I can’t wait to see what you cooked for dinner, Sabrina.” The hot doctor said as I sense his eyes on my back.

I walk over to the fridge, slightly open its door without him seeing the plate in his eyesight. “You should close your eyes since dinner was meant to be a surprise.”

“Alright, if you say so.” He closed his eyes and I hope that he did as I grab the plate from the fridge.

I slowly grabbed mine off the counter and walked over to the table, placed the raw steak in front of him as his eyes were still closed and set my plate in front of me before I sat down and took five seconds to breath. The look on his face, I had to see his reaction and that I knew. One, two, three, four, five.

“You can open your eyes now.” He opened his eyes as I snapped the pic off my cell phone. His reaction—his eyes still golden and shocked face but he hadn’t opened his mouth in surprise.

Slowly, he moved his head up as his eyes sparkled with a hint of red before he smirked and got up at vampire speed to stand in front of me. His hand stretched out towards me before I take it and stand at his side then before I knew it, we were on my bed; snogging passionately and very hard against my body. I felt his mouth travel from my neck to my belly button before I lost my skirt and shirt onto the floor of my room.

“My human is wet for me already.” He muttered. That’s when I felt his tongue between my legs as he licked my newly shaved area as his hands held my hips in place whilst he began to suck his lips in my clit. My legs dropped over his shoulders as he continued to pleasure me in the area that I have always wanted him to be in and I knotted his hair in my hands as I couldn’t hold my moans and let out a small scream.

“Carlisle, turn on my stereo so no one can hear us, please.” I moan as he left me cold on the bed.

He came back into the bed after the music was turned on and it was something that was loud enough to drown my screams for the neighbors not able to hear us. Carlisle was back between my legs and licking my inside as I let out a scream of pleasure. I felt his lips part from my clit before he spoke; “Don’t think I didn’t notice your naked butt pointed towards me tonight whilst I pretended to have my eyes closed. And now this is all mine. You’re finally mine, Sabrina.” He dipped his head back between my legs as I moaned excitedly.

“I had a feeling that you saw my butt and I did it on purpose tonight to get your attention. I will gladly be yours for as long as you’ll have me, Carlisle.” I let out a small yelp as he had nip a bit of my skin.

“You definitely got my attention and it worked as I am going to pleasure you all night long!” Carlisle growled as I moaned loudly. He moved slowly up as he trailed kisses up and down my legs before he hovered over my small body then kept one of his hands down near my entrance then suddenly a finger was inside of my clit whilst I groaned from the contact. Carlisle’s other hand came up by my head and rest it onto the pillow before he began to kiss my lips with passion and lust. I was moving in motion as his finger was pumping deep inside of my clit before I felt another finger join the first one.

“I knew that you knew about me, Swan. I couldn’t wait any longer to tell you and I wouldn’t be able to handle it for the next few months if I waited longer for you.” I smirked as he pumped his fingers harder and tighter before I screamed.

“Carlisle, your hands were the first sign that something was different about you.” He chuckled. “Then, tell me, my smoking hot doctor, why you wanted to meet me when it’s very illegal for you to even be sexual active with your own patient.” A third finger joined the other two inside of my clit.

“I—the reason I have asked to have dinner with you.” He kissed my lips before he kissed my neck. “You belong to me, Sabrina Swan.” I was quite confused as I lifted an eyebrow. “You remember our first meeting before you started your chemo?” I nod. “Your scent, it was strong and it felt like home to me. When a vampire gets that smell, that means that the vampire or in my case, a human is our mate. Sabrina, you are mine. My mate. My forever. I have waited a very very long time for you.” We kissed passionately as he thrusted his fingers faster and deeper inside of my body.

I unbutton his dress shirt, as he took it off whilst his bare pale toned six pack and body were glowing in the dim light coming through the window’s shade cover. Carlisle leaned closer after his shirt fell to the floor, as I gave kisses one by one across his chest as I hear him moan whilst he still had three fingers inside my hot wet clit. “Tell me, how old are you mentally—physically, I suppose that’s the right word for it. I wasn’t sure how to ask.” I kissed his upper chest as he sighed.

“Physically, I was turned when I was twenty-three.” I smiled before he kissed the space between my breasts. “I hope it doesn’t scare you away because I’m quite old now and it’s okay if you don’t want to be with me since I’m probably older than you think.” I didn’t respond as I wanted him to tell me. “I’m three hundred and sixty four years old.” I was completely shocked as my eyes widen. “1640. Then, in 1663, is when I was turned and at the time, it was where humans hunted vampires, werewolves, and such. I never wanted to hunt humans, so I drank animals’ blood. The whole family does because of me.” He hid his face between my breasts as if he was ashamed of his life. “If you want me to leave, I’ll leave. I understand if you don’t want to be with me.” Carlisle kissed my lower chest below my breasts.

My poor very old vampire man. Do I even call him a man? Oh well…

I lifted his head softly from my chest, with both my hands on either side of his face and directed him closer to mine before I kissed his lips. “How can you such a thing like that? I would never ask you to leave. And I don’t care how old you are, Carlisle and frankly, I rather have you than anyone else in this whole world.” He pulled a bit away from me, as I wrapped my legs tightly around his torso to keep him in place. I heard growls coming from his mouth. “You said after tonight, you can’t be parted from me and now, I don’t want to parted from you. I want to be with you every second and every day of our lives together. Besides, what human can say that they’re in a relationship with a vampire. I am one lucky woman!” I giggled as he smiled. “Carlisle, what exactly are we?” I questioned, as I was curious.

“Well, since we’re mates and we can’t ever be parted from each other.” His fingers began to move in my clit again. “Not married yet, even though I’m divorced now. We’re not exactly dating either, so I suppose significant other or—we can decide to be anything you want us to be, baby.” Carlisle leaned down and pecked my forehead as his fingers were still moving inside of me, making me moan with pleasure.

“Wait, did you say divorced?” His wife had left him.

“Yes, I am.” He sighed. “Esme left last month as I stopped giving her any attention and that’s when she realized that I had found my mate. We had only married for connivance and neither was the other’s mate. It has finally taken almost eighty-four years of one of us finding our true mate.” I heard myself hitch a breath. “And she’s finally here; alive and in my arms as we will spend forever together.” We kiss, before he pulls away a bit. “Can I keep you?” He did just quote Casper the friendly Ghost?

“Carlisle, did you quote Casper the Friendly Ghost?” He looked at me, startled as if he didn’t know what I was talking about. “Have you seen the tv show or the movie?”

“There’s a ghost? Like a real one?” He was quite confused. “No, I don’t think I have.”

“We shall watch it sometime soon… maybe on a date?” His eyes bore into mine. “Did you and Esme even date? Or was it just a bite at almost first sight?” He didn’t seem to get the joke, but after a second he laughed.

“No, we didn’t date. Just married on paper and I suppose because we weren’t with our mates, there wasn’t a need for it.” I guess it made sense. “Especially, when I was a human, I didn’t date because of my profession at the time.” He noticed that I had smirked before he spoke again; “I was an Anglican priest and helping my father who was one but he got sick a few years before I was turned.”

“Carlisle, did you ever look for your parents?” I asked since there were websites to find relatives.

He had a strange look in his eyes, before he tried to cry but he had no tears. Vampires can’t cry? Interesting. Was it a touchy subject about his parents? Must be hard. He has to live forever and they have been dead since probably before 1700’s.

“Carlisle? Are you alright?” Carlisle slid his fingers out of my clit, rolled over to the empty side of the bed, took off his trousers and pants before he laid back on the bed and pulled me into his arms. “What’s wrong?”

“I never told my coven family or Esme, because it was very hard to tell anyone. Yes, it’s been over three hundred years since my human birth, but my human mother died after she had me.” He kissed my temple as I leaned closer against his side and laid my right hand upon his chest.

“You have never told them but you’ve told me? Why did you finally say something about it?” I think I knew why he said it after centuries of being a vampire.

“I just felt that I had to tell you and if you were ever pregnant, then I would do everything to keep you from having the same fate as she did.” Carlisle turned slightly to face me and placed the palm of his hand lovingly upon my cheek and a smile that barely reached his ears. “It’s not possible that you can get pregnant because vampires can’t have children.” I lift an eyebrow. “I dream that you are filled with our baby, but vampires can’t produce children.”

“Has any have tried this before? Or did it not go well for vampires to even try again?” Carlisle smirked as he realized that I might have read something I shouldn’t have. “I read about the children, but I didn’t exactly pay attention to the story, so technically I have no idea what happened.” He was silent. “Will you tell me the story?” Carlisle eyes wide. “It’s fine. I’m not a child.”

“The short story is some human children were turned by a few female vampires. Mostly one child, was the reason for a village getting killed. So, the female vampires and the children were killed because of what happened. So no vampire has ever tried again since. The reason to turn the children was because vampires couldn’t have children and once you’re turned, there’s no hope for such after we get turned.” He grimaced. Did he actually know vampire that turned the human child?

“I didn’t know her, but I know her daughters. They had all been human first until their mother wasn’t anymore. She turned the human boy and he killed the whole village of humans and then she was killed by The Volturi. The sisters didn’t know of course, so The Volturi let them go so the girls are strict with our vampire laws because of it.”

“So no one has ever tired having their own? Not even with a human, if they could?” I know that question was a long shot, but wouldn’t they have realized or figured that out centuries ago?

“Most vampires hunt on humans. So how could they have children with humans?” He was right.

“Maybe some haven’t tried if they don’t hunt humans. Ever thought about that?” I questioned as he seemed to think about it.

“Even if we tried, you might not be able to be pregnant.” Carlisle said as he held closer against his body. “As for my father, I never looked for him afterwards because it was dangerous after I was turned. I always hoped that he was alright after I was gone, and mother had passed the day I was born.”

“Do you remember his name?” Carlisle shook his head. “So, just memories then?” That time, he had nodded. “Could the talk of children ever be open?”

“We can discuss, but it’s unlikely for you to ever be pregnant. And you’re still going through chemo, so it would have to be a year after you’re cancer free. It wouldn’t be right or legal for us until then.” He sighed.

“Until then, let’s play.” I giggled as I pulled him closer and smashed our lips together before he hovered over my body. “I can do this all weekend. Is that alright with you?” I smirked but I had waited for his response.

Carlisle chuckled before he spoke; “I am not working this weekend. Are you?” I shook my head. “Then we have the whole weekend together.” We kissed before he placed his fingers back inside of my clit. “My mate. My baby. My angel. My forever. You’re mine now.”

“And this is all mine!” I groaned loudly as his fingers plunged deeper inside of me.

Notes:

I hope you enjoy and the next chapter will be a little intense.
