Chapter 1: A Way Home
Chapter Text
Natasha and Peter were on the couch watching “A Dogs Way Home”
It was at the part where Bella reunites with Lucas
Nestled against her side, Peter suddenly heard sniffling
He looked up
Natasha was sniffling her eyes red and with unshed tears
Peter was concerned. He’s never seen his mom cry before even if it wasn’t from sadness
“Are you okay mom? I can get some tissues from the kitchen.” He asked
Natasha nodded
“Just some weed in my eyes.” She defended the excuse hollow even in her own ears
Peter huffed out an amused laugh
“Must be some odorless marijuana then.” He gently teased
Peter then hugged her
“I know you always say “pain only makes you stronger” but you’ve been strong for too long mom it’s okay to cry let it all out. You’ve been through so much” he soothed
Natasha wetly chuckled hugged Peter and pressing a kiss to the top of his head
“I just love you. I’m glad you’re my son.” She said softly
Peter wordlessly snuggled closer to Natasha knowing they’d always support each other
Because that’s what family does

Chapter Text
It was a normal day at Natasha’s apartment.
Peter and Yelena were in the kitchen side by side making brownies.
Natasha felt mischievous.
She gently sprayed Peter in the back of the arm with the cleaning spray she had.
Peter yelped and turned to Yelena; he sprayed her with the spray bottle he had, thinking she did it.
“Hey! Why did you spray me?” He said with mock indignation,
Yelena was genuinely confused.
“I didn’t spray you!” She replied.
She then saw the look on Natasha’s face.
Yelena pointed at her.
“It was her! She did it!”
But before Peter could do anything, Natasha got behind him and grabbed his hands, forcing him to spray. Yelena
Peter burst out laughing.
Yelena grumbled good natured
“Давай, Сестра!” She huffed.
Natasha grinned.
“Snitches get stitches, Yelena!”

Chapter Text
Steve and Natasha were sprawled on the floor watching TV in the common room.
Natasha suddenly shifted onto her side.
“Hey Stevie?” She said with a playful lilt.
Steve turned his head to her, a smile on his face, knowing that tone of voice.
“Yes, Natalia?”
She shifted closer.
“Want to see who can win a tussle?”
Steve smirked.
“Is that a challenge I heard?”
Natasha moved and got on top of him.
“You know it is.”
Steve gently grabbed her wrists and flipped so he was on top of her.
“Alright. May the best person win.”
It went on like that for several minutes.
Natasha was victorious, now on top of Steve once again.
She leaned down and whispered in his ear:
“Told you I’d win.” She teased.
She then peppered kisses across his face.
Steve laughed.
“Okay, okay, I surrender!” He playfully complied.
Natasha then settled against his side, so he wrapped an arm around her shoulder.
All of a sudden a familiar voice drifted from the doorway.
“Ew. Affection.” A mock disgusted voice said,
It was Peter.
Steve extended his free hand to him.
“Oh, get your butt down here, son.” He joked.
Peter rolled his eyes with no heat behind it and curled up against Steve’s other side, contentment washing over the trio.
Chapter 4: Let the Pranks Begin

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)
Chapter Text
Steve was in the common room relaxing for once.
Suddenly Peter came into the room looking disturbed.
Steve offered a smile.
“Hey Pete. What’s up?”
Peter shuffled closer.
“Uhh. Dad. Whose mini rocking horse and doll are in the hallway?”
Steve’s eyebrow arched.
“Well. Natasha has the rocking horse; as for the doll… It didn’t come with a doll, Peter.”
Before Peter could reply, the lights went off.
Steve instantly grabbed Peter's arm as the duo moved down the hall.
They had to find someone: Tony, Clint, Bruce, Wanda, Natasha, even Vision.
Peter gasped, and Steve followed his gaze and gulped.
The white rocking horse was in the middle, with a pale doll with black hair and eyes in a blue dress in front of it.
Peter's voice was an urgent whisper.
“The horse wasn’t that close before, and the doll was on its back.”
The duo moved upstairs and stopped in front of Steve and Natasha’s room.
On the door was a note in familiar handwriting.
Steve took it off and read it.
His breath hitched.
The paper wrote, "Guess who."
On cue two hands covered his eyes, and Peter yelped.
“Peter!” Steve exclaimed, ready to spring into action.
But then the hands left his face, revealing the familiar face of his wife, a smirk on her face.
“Gotcha.” Natasha teased giving Steve a kiss.
Steve turned and saw Pietro and Wanda. Peter was in the former's arms.
“What…” Steve breathed, trying to wrap his head around it.
Natasha rested her hands on his shoulder, her chin propped on it as she explained.
“We decided to prank you guys, and so I used my old rocking horse.”
Wanda added,
“And fortunately I still had that creepy doll of mine I for some reason kept all the way from Sokovia.”
Pietro grinned as he sat Peter down and patted his head.
“Bet you didn’t see that coming.” He quipped.
Steve half smiled as Peter went to his side.
“Alright, well played, you three. You got us.”
He then looked at Peter.
“But that means this isn’t over. Just you wait. We got some planning to do, don’t we, Peter?”
Peter nodded.
“We sure do, Dad.”
Natasha’s mischievous smile never wavered.
“Heh, may the games begin.”

Pietro lives because screw canon!

Chapter Text
Natasha and Steve hadn’t been married for long.
But that didn’t mean they had gotten intimate yet.
Yet today things changed.
In their room, one thing led to another, and Natasha was on top of Steve, making out with him.
Things escalated, and her hand drifted to his pants.
Sensing what was about to happen Steve paused from where he was going for the hem of her shirt, his legs propping up
“We’re really doing this now?” He breathed in awe.
Natasha leaned her back against his legs, her hands on his lower stomach.
“Only if you want to.” She assured
Steve shifted onto his elbow and touched her cheek.
“You know I want to. The question is if you want to.”
Natasha smirked, gently pushing him to lie on his back.
She then leaned closer, her lips brushing his.
“That isn’t even a question.” She whispered, reaching down and beginning to unbutton his shirt.
However, Peter’s voice came.
“Mom! Dad! Have you seen my Star Wars Lego…” He trailed off, taking in the scene before him, and covered his eyes.
“I am so sorry! I didn’t know you were in the middle of…I just remembered where it was!” He squealed, closing the door.
Natasha and Steve exchanged glances before bursting out laughing.
“Oh, poor Peter.” Steve teased.
“At least he didn’t come in any later.” Natasha added humorously,
She then leaned down capturing his lips in a passionate kiss which he met with equal fervor.
She then pulled back looking at him.
“Now let’s continue, shall we?” Natasha purred.
Tony’s voice came through the com on the desk.
“Steve and Natasha Rogers, please report to the lab.” He said with mock authority,
Natasha blew out some air, making the strand across her face move.
“Alright, let’s see what good ol’ Stark wants.” She complied reluctantly, rolling off of Steve.
Steve sat up on the side of the bed, rebuttoning his shirt, standing up, then pulling her in by her waist and giving her a quick kiss on the lips.
“Yeah, let’s see why he has the audacity.” He joked.
The couple went to the lab, seeing Tony in his chair, sunglasses on, his fingers steepled.
“What did you need, Tony?” Natasha asked bluntly.
Tony grinned.
“Haha, nothing! I just called you here because I figured out what you two were planning to do.” He said with his usual flippancy,
Natasha and Steve looked at each other and then at Tony.
Steve pinched the bridge of his nose.
“Come on, Anthony!” He exclaimed,
Natasha wrapped her arms around Steve’s shoulders.
“Want to play games, Tony? Okay then. How about I interrupt you the next time you and Pepper are getting intimate?” She challenged
Tony immediately blushed, looking awkwardly at the floor.
“Okay, okay, you win! Go back to your business.”
Steve and Natasha left hand in hand, triumphant grins on their faces, as they got back to their room.
As soon as they stepped inside, Natasha immediately grabbed Steve’s collar, walked him back until his knees hit the bed, and then pushed him down onto it.
She then got on top of him, her lips meeting his once more.
When they broke apart, she looked at him with a wicked gleam in her eyes.
“Now. Where were we?”
Notes:
What makes this whole thing funnier is that Natasha is canonically said to be a “satisfying lover” and If you would like a post scene I can definitely write it’
Chapter 6: After the Battle
Summary:
Natasha and Peter meet Steve
Chapter Text
After the whole New York fiasco with Loki, Natasha was happy to be at the Avengers Tower and bring Peter to see it.
She and Steve had also been growing closer.
She was showing Peter the way to her room.
“And if you ever have nightmares or just want comfort or to hang out with me, my room is right here, sweetheart.” Natasha said to the five-year-old,
Suddenly a familiar voice came from behind her.
“Got a son, Natasha?”
Natasha picked Peter up in her arms and turned to face Steve.
“Well. Every way but blood. I love him like my own.” She said with rare warmth,
Steve nodded.
“You know. You should show this softer side of you more often. Cute kid.” He said, gently ribbing her.
Natasha rolled her eyes, but her smile was undeniable.
“Heh. He’s a smart little firecracker that I’ll always love and cherish.” She said, looking at Peter, who showed nothing but trust towards her as he laid his head against her chest, slowly falling asleep.
Natasha didn’t expect Steve’s next words.
“You know if you ever need a break, I have no problem hanging out with Peter. Or maybe a day where all three of us can bond.”
Natasha could’ve sworn she felt her jaw drop.
“Really?”
“Mhm. I can tell you take really good care of him. It’s okay to relax every once in a while.”
Natasha moved past Steve to her room, but she looked at him with gratitude.
“Thank you. I’ll keep that in mind. Goodnight.”
Natasha then closed the door behind her and put Peter on the bed, pulling the covers up as she lay down as well.
Yet the warmth in her heart around Steve was undeniable.
Chapter 7: A Tale of Two Spiders
Summary:
Peter helps Natasha after a nightmare
Chapter Text
Natasha tossed and turned in her sleep, the nightmares at full throttle.
She gasped for breath as she shot awake, trying to ground herself with the familiar scenery of her room.
As she laid back on the pillow, she heard a knock at the door.
“Can I come in?”
It was Peter.
Natasha sighed.
“Of course.” She said tiredly.
Peter opened the door, holding two glasses of water.
The eight-year-old sat on the side of the bed, handing her a glass.
“A nightmare?” He simply asked.
Natasha nodded.
Peter was sympathetic.
“When I have nightmares, water usually helps me feel better, so I wanted to give it to you.” He explained.
Natasha felt her heart swell with love and gratitude for her son.
“Thank you, kiddo.” She said, taking the glass.
They drank their water in silence before Natasha set the glass on the nightstand.
Peter yawned and curled up on the end of the bed.
Natasha wanted to wake him up and guide him back to his room so as to not accidentally hurt him if she had another nightmare.
But she let him stay and fell asleep.
The next morning when she woke up, she softly smiled.
Peter was still at the end of the bed sleeping contentedly.
Chapter 8: When Allergies Become Deadly
Summary:
Peter finds out spiders are allergic to mint in the worst way possible
Notes:
(See the end of the chapter for notes.)
Chapter Text
Natasha was in the common room when Peter came in and saw a chocolate on the table, the green bottom hidden under the dark part.
“Oh! Hey, Mom?” Peter asked.
Natasha looked up from her book, giving him a smile.
“Yes, Pete?” She replied.
“Can I have that chocolate?”
Natasha huffed out a laugh, ruffling his hair.
“Of course,” she assured, going back to her book.
Peter popped the mint chocolate into his mouth.
As soon as he registered the taste, he felt his skin tingle.
“Mom…what chocolate is this?” He said he was feeling it harder and harder to breathe.
Natasha looked at him.
“It’s mint chocolate. Why?” She quizzed
“I’m allergic to mint!” He gasped out.
Natasha saw his skin was a rash red; he fell on the ground gasping for breath.
Her eyes widened in panic as she dropped to his side.
“Where’s your EpiPen? Or do I have to do CPR until the ambulance arrives?!”
Peter managed to point to the kitchen.
Natasha rushed in, seeing the EpiPen on the table, and ran back into the common room and jabbed the needle into his thigh.
Peter gulped and took in air at that moment.
Natasha rubbed his back.
“Shh, take deep breaths, Petey, shh.” She soothed
Once Peter got his breathing back in order, Natasha picked him up in her arms.
“Hey, where are we going? I lived; I don’t have to go to the hospital or medbay!” He defended tiredly.
“I’m aware, Peter, but I need Bruce to watch you for a couple days to make sure you don’t relapse and to give you proper medical treatment and evaluation.”
Peter didn't argue any further.
Natasha held him tighter.
She almost lost him.
As soon as she took Peter to the medbay, she was definitely having a quick meeting and a removal of all mint in the tower.
Notes:
Just as the story showed if anyone has an allergic reaction you still take them to the hospital after the EpiPen to make sure the person doesn’t relapse and for further medical evaluation

She was restless, wanting to help so badly but not knowing how.
“Peter, please…” She begged, but nothing happened.
Peter just stayed in bed crying to himself, face buried in a pillow.
Natasha surrendered and took off her shoes.
She then climbed into the bed with him.
Peter didn't hesitate and wrapped his arms around her, and she squeezed back, their bodies intertwining.
Peter wept quietly as Natasha ran a hand through his curls.
“Shh. It’s okay, Сын, I’m here, I’m here.” She soothed
Peter buried his face into her chest, now feeling safer and more comforted than he has in months.

Peter passed by Natasha’s room, seeing she was just sitting on the side of her bed.
He pushed open the door.
Natasha turned, offering a smile at seeing him.
“Hey Peter. What are you doing?” She asked lightly.
Peter sat next to her and then spoke.
“Mom. What would you do if I died?” He randomly asked.
Natasha paused for a second as if absorbing the question, then dramatically clutched her hand to her chest and fell back as if she died.
“Uhh. Mom?!” Peter asked with concern.
Natasha cracked open an eye with a chuckle.
“Gotcha.” She mused.
Peter huffed, half relieved and half used to her antics.
“Geez. You scared me…”
But Natasha again flopped back down, playing dead again.
“Mom!” He groaned.
Natasha laughed, pulling Peter to her side.
Peter looked up at her.
“So you’re saying if I died, you’d die as well?”
Natasha sighed.
“Of course. You’re my kid. I’d die inside.” She admitted in a moment of vulnerability
Peter smiled.
“Heh. It’s not like I’m getting turned to dust!” He quipped.
Natasha hummed.
“Just don’t ask concerning questions like that again.”
Peter snuggled against her side.
“Deal.”
