The Michael Corleone x Reader FBI artifacts collection!

Summary:

After Michael marries “you” (reader) following Kay, your presence quietly alters the internal dynamics of the Corleone empire. Unknown to you, the FBI has begun compiling a multi-year investigative file on your relationship, movements, and influence. These artifacts slowly reveal the truth: your devotion to Michael, his attempts to shield you, and the invisible pressure of a life in the shadows.
Each chapter is designed as a standalone one-shot but all together create a mosaic of a marriage under surveillance, secrecy, and love.

FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION

CONFIDENTIAL

File No.: NY-185-4721
Subject: CORLEONE, Michael (aka Mike, Mickey)
Related Subject: CORLEONE, [Your Full Name] (née [Maiden Name])
Classification: Organized Crime Investigation
Date Opened: March 15, 1960
Supervising Agent: SA Robert Hewitt, New York Field Office

INVESTIGATIVE SUMMARY

On February 8, 1960, MICHAEL CORLEONE (DOB: [redacted]) entered into matrimony with [YOUR FULL NAME] at a private ceremony in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. This union occurred approximately eighteen (18) months following the dissolution of his previous marriage to KATHARINE ADAMS CORLEONE (divorced August 1958).

The subject bride, age [redacted], presents as follows:

Background Check Results:

  • Born [your birthplace], to [father's name], occupation: [father's occupation], and [mother's name], homemaker
  • Education: [Your education background - suggest college degree, clean record]
  • Prior Employment: [Your former job - something respectable]
  • Criminal Record: NONE
  • Known Associates Prior to Marriage: NO CONNECTIONS TO ORGANIZED CRIME FIGURES

Initial Assessment:

Subject appears to be, by all conventional measures, unremarkable. Credit history clean. Voting record consistent. Library card actively used. The bride's background check revealed nothing that would predict her involvement with the Corleone family.

This is precisely what troubles this investigator.

Surveillance Notes - Wedding Day:

The ceremony was intimate, limited to immediate family. Notable attendees included:

  • CORLEONE, Vito (father, deceased 1955 - family present symbolically)
  • CORLEONE, Carmela (mother)
  • CORLEONE, Santino "Sonny" (brother, deceased 1948 - widow Sandra and children present)
  • CORLEONE, Frederico "Fredo" (brother)
  • CORLEONE, Constanzia "Connie" (sister) and husband Carlo Rizzi

The bride wore ivory, not white. Michael Corleone wore a dark suit, not a tuxedo. No photographers were permitted. The reception lasted exactly two hours.

Agent Patterson, conducting external surveillance, noted: "The groom watched the door more than he watched his bride. She smiled at guests. He counted exits."

Post-Marriage Movements:

The couple did not honeymoon abroad as expected. Instead, they remained at the Corleone compound in Lake Tahoe for three weeks before relocating to a residence in New York City (address under separate surveillance).

Mrs. Corleone has been observed:

  • Shopping at neighborhood markets (Wednesdays, usually between 10-11 AM)
  • Attending Catholic mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral (Sundays, 9 AM service)
  • Visiting the New York Public Library (frequency: 2-3 times per week)
  • Meeting with NO KNOWN CRIMINAL ASSOCIATES

She does not appear to work. She does not appear to spend lavishly. She does not appear to ask questions.

Behavioral Analysis:

What makes Mrs. Corleone remarkable is her apparent unremarkability. In a family where wives traditionally come from connected families or long-standing neighborhood relationships, her outsider status is anomalous.

Working theory: Michael Corleone, known for his strategic thinking, has married someone with no connections to his world precisely because she has no connections. She cannot inform on what she does not know. She cannot be leveraged by what she has never been part of.

The Question:

Is she truly unaware of her husband's business dealings, or is she the perfect cover—a woman so ordinary that no one would suspect her of being extraordinary?

Recommendation:

Continued surveillance. Monitor all communications, movements, and associations. Pay particular attention to any changes in behavior, spending patterns, or social circles.

Michael Corleone does nothing without purpose. This marriage is no exception.

We need to understand what that purpose is.

CLASSIFIED - NOT FOR DISTRIBUTION

Agent's Personal Notes (unofficial):

Watched her buy flowers today at the corner stand. Yellow roses. She smiled at the vendor, counted out exact change, walked home alone. She didn't look over her shoulder once.

Either she's the best actress I've ever surveilled, or she really doesn't know what she's walked into.

I almost feel sorry for her.
