Fics I like from the DC universe(s).
I basically use collections as reading lists for the fics that I like from whatever subject the collection is about (the title).
Explanation for my bookmarks:
- I bookmark series’ (I *usually* don’t add works in series’ to collection separately)
- I bookmark things I can’t actually add to the collection
- The reason I put the summary of the work and/or the series in the bookmark notes is so if the item is removed from ao3, I can know what it was.

The situation was easy to understand. Red Hood was Jason Tood, returned from the grave. Jason Todd couldn't come home because Joker was alive and Tim Drake was Robin so... if Tim Drake killed Joker then that would leave Robin open for Jason to come home and claim right? Now if only the Joker would actually die in all the death traps Tim had set up.

It starts in her chest as something tight, like she’s about to have a panic attack, it moves up her throat and her mouth stretches into what must be an unnatural grin. She throws her head back and laughs.
She's fucking free.

As the door opened Tim quickly disabled another three separate electronic sensors in the doorjamb by swiping them with a device that looked a bit like a thumb drive. “Walk where I walk,” he said.
He took a big step over the doormat, eyed the floor carefully, then took a careful skipped sidestep to another mat against the right-hand wall, where he removed his shoes.
“What the hell?” whispered Jason, still standing in the open doorway.
Tim pointed up. There was a net rigged up on the ceiling. “Pressure pads under the carpet.”
“I repeat, what the hell?”
After Tim completely derails Jason’s beatdown attempt by asking him for a hug, Jason’s first priority is to get this touch-starved kid more cuddles. Tim’s first priority is to avoid Dick’s traps.
Jason learns a lot about his brothers and what happened while he was away, and something about himself too.
