Comment on there is no emotion (there is peace)

  1. This is so amazing and my mind is on fire considering all the implications. Fantastic role reversals and world build! I loved loved loved how deeply you entrenched Cody's values in Mandalorian lore and creed yet kept him so much in character - the same deep loyalty, honour, compassion, strategic mind, care for his people, but with such a different background. Amazing, seriously! And Obi-wan, so crafty, desperate and quick thinking.

If you ever write more about what Palpatine is plotting in such a different galaxy with that ploy, or how Cody will spin bringing those Jedi to Mandalore, I will be ecstatic. If you don't, however, I will satisfy myself with rereading and pondering this fic. It's absolutely going straight into my bookmarks.

    1. I am also on fire at the implications, because I am in writer hell (you know, that place you go when you want to write a shit-ton about a concept but don't always have the spoons?). I love this universe, and I love how people have responded to it! It was a delight trying to entrench Obi-Wan and Cody in their new positions of the narrative, and reflect how that may have changed some of their behavior or thinking, but still keeping them clearly recognizable as themselves (basically, coming to the same character traits from a new angle). I do in fact know what Palps is up to, and how Cody will get them away, and many, many other aspects of this universe. I hope I get to write them, and comments like this always make that more likely. I'd always love to hear any ponderings, though, because I'm not really in any group chats, so I don't have many people to scream with about this concept. If even one person reads this and decides to do a similar au, I will feel extremely accomplished. Lab-experiment Jedi, my beloveds XD
