Summary
They’ve been on mission for two weeks now, and it will be at least another week before they are able to return to Pabu. That will mean a full standard month since Tech has seen the personified force of nature that is Phee Genoa, and for perhaps the first time in his life, that does not feel acceptable. It is a strange thing, wanting. Tech is still not accustomed to how…physical, it can be.
Tech deals with post-battle adrenaline rush, the obvious way.

The hum of the ship in the quiet of space was enough to make Cody wish he’d turned down General Kenobi’s generous offer; Cody was used to living with hundreds, if not thousands or even hundreds of thousands of his brothers underfoot at any given time, and by comparison, the near-silence of two people, tucked into a ship meant for a crew of five at the utmost was enough to have Cody vibrating out of his skin. He didn’t weather ‘quiet’ well. Quiet was when your guard was down, was when the clankers – or before them the longnecks and their more sadistic shabuir trainers – could slip past your defenses and take down a company faster than you could say dank farrik.

At length, K says, “I promise, I wasn’t trying to ‘there’s only one bed’ you, when you offered to let us sleep here.” The words get muffled into Evan’s hoodie, and for a split second, Evan has a flash of what it must feel like to be K, a tugging, cooing urge at how soft the moment is. He wants to swallow it whole, to live in it forever. “I know I’ve done it on purpose before,” K adds in a mumble, “but this time I swear it wasn’t.”
In which most of the Pilot Program takes a well deserved rest, and there was only one

Summary
Doug is angry. He's often angry. He ignores it. He's gotten good at ignoring it. When the Villain Kids show up and he starts seeing things he shouldn't, the kind of things that imply they might be up to something that could change Auradon, he ignores that too. After all, who would listen to Dopey's son anyway?
He knows better than the royals that people aren’t their parents, no matter how much the thought might flatter them. He’s suffered the attentions of self absorbed princesses and condescending princes too often. So called “kindness” designed to make them feel better about themselves regardless of the cost to him. He thinks, quietly to himself, that Auradon would deserve whatever revenge four 16 year olds left behind on the Isle of the Lost can dish out.
