Chapter Text

Turles stared down the Tree of Might, enjoying one of its many fruits, before letting out a frustrated sigh. While it was certainly good that the tree had been successfully grown, with a bountiful harvest no less, the collateral loss would take time to recover. As weak as the rest of Earth's defenses was, one of them, a Saiyan no less, had been powerful enough to not only down all of his men, but even give him a decent run for his money.

Turles took the final bite of his fruit, before shaking his head.

At least with all of them defeated, he could begin the process of harvesting the fruits, and bringing them into his ship. It would certainly take some time, considering the countless number of the fruits, but at the very least, Turles could say that all the trouble he had gone through was worth it. More Crusher Corps could be found, but the Fruit of Might had been his one goal for many years, and now it was finally his.

"Turles!" a voice behind him shouted, snapping him out of his thoughts.

It was the Saiyan from before! Kakarot!

He turned around to face the Saiyan, gritting his teeth in frustration.

"Not you again..." he growled. "How did this happen?"

"I have the power of nature inside..."

Turles rolled his eyes.

How cute. He had the 'power of nature'.v

It didn't matter, now with his Fruits, even Lord Frieza would beg him for mercy. It didn't matter what 'power' he had, in mere moments, he'd have all the power in the universe-

Within seconds, Turles' scouter reacted to a powerful energy, one coming from Goku. But it wasn't his energy, it couldn't have been. Suddenly the scouter shattered, before a blue aura of energy began to surround Goku's fist, before launching straight for Turles.

In your universe, as well as many others, Turles would attempt to overpower the Spirit Bomb, before being overwhelmed and meeting his end. However, this is where the Divergence takes place in this universe. In a rare act of fear, instead of attempting to overpower the Spirit Bomb, Turles would dodge it, saving his own life... but at the cost of the Tree of Might.

The tree detonated in seconds, each of its fruits erupting into nothing, as the leaves melted into pure energy, which scattered everywhere, returning to the Earth and reviving the planet.

Turles' jaw dropped, as he watched the undoing of his life's work. After the years he spent, the risks he had taken to find that seed, and the years of trial and error, as he searched for a suitable planet. All of that hard work... for nothing.

He turned to Goku, glaring at him.

Because of him.

"You..." Turles growled, vitriol dripping from his voice. "Do you have any idea what you've just done..?"

Panting hard, Goku said nothing, only letting out a small chuckle, as he wiped some excess blood from his mouth.

Gritting his teeth, Turles dashed straight for Goku, slamming his fist into the Saiyan's stomach with a powerful uppercut.

"I'LL KILL YOU!" Turles roared.

Continuing his rage-induced beatdown, Turles threw several more punches at Goku's face, eventually sending Goku to the ground; his face now in the Tree of Might's rotted roots.

Flying over Goku's body, Turles brought his hands together, before forming a ring of orange energy, then throwing it down to finish off Goku.

"Kill Driver!" Turles shouted, as he fired the attack.

Even with Goku's death, Turles' wrath wouldn't fade away, as he watched the Tree of Might fade to nothingness, Turles slammed into the ground in anger, clenching his fist in fury.

"Damn you, Kakarot!" Turles cursed, his mind flashing to everything that had been lost.

His blood boiled. It was all this damned planet's fault. The Seed of Might, his men... It was all gone, because of this 'Earth'... Turles shouted, again, punching the hard ground, as if to take out his anger on the planet itself.

"DAMN YOU ALL TO HELL!" Turles shouted, his voice breaking.

In his anger, Turles' aura exploded, shaking the ground around him, as his hair spiked upwards, before glowing a golden yellow.

That's right. Turles' anger and hatred towards Earth would push his power to new heights, and into the realm of legend. After taking a moment to adjust to his new form, Turles would quickly begin on how to make Earth suffer for all it had done to him.

His mind shifted to the boy, the son of Kakarot. An evil smile formed on his face, as the perfect way to make Kakarot pay came to mind. Flying over to the rest of where Kakarot's allies layed, he spotted the boy. He did mention needing new Crusher Corps. Sure, the boy would need some molding, but so did every child.

Grabbing the unconscious half-Saiyan by his head, Turles chuckled, before making his way back to his ship. Once inside, Turles tossed the boy in the corner before beginning to pilot the shuttle. As the ship began to lift off, the front window showed the Planet Earth getting further and further away, beginning to wake Gohan up.

"What... What's going on? Where are we?"

Turles simply tapped the glass, which was now showing Earth in its entirety.

"Pretty, huh?" Turles taunted, his eyes filled with malice. "Here, I'll make it even prettier..."

Gohan scooted backwards, as Turles stood up from the chair he sat in, before walking in the center of the ship.

"Get away!" Gohan screamed in terror, as tears formed in his eyes. "Where's my daddy?"

"Shhh-shhh-shhh..." Turles shushed him, before smirking. "Watch the ship for me, would ya, kid?"

He gestured to the front window.

"And keep your eyes glued to that screen... You don't want to miss what comes next..."

Gohan swallowed hard.

"It's a hell of a show..."

Turles charged his golden aura, as the center of the ship lifted him onto the top of his ship, where he stared down the blue planet that had cost him so much.

"You took everything away from me..." he shouted at the planet, ignoring the cries from the half-Saiyan beneath him, as he raised his hand forming a massive white ki blast.

"So now I'm taking everything away from YOU!"

Closing his fist, Turles hurled his Force Explosion attack, sending it straight for Earth. The initial explosion was small, barely visible from his position, but then suddenly another explosion followed, before another, and then another. It was almost as if every volcano on Earth suddenly erupted, every geyser flared, every tectonic plate vibrated, all at once. The white, pillowy clouds of Earth grew dark and strained, as blue waters began to turn red... then black. Turles' eyes glistened as visible red cracks began to form everywhere on the planet that had given him so much trouble... before finally, it detonated.

After this, Turles would continue his reign over the Solar System, before moving onto the next. Eventually, rumors would begin to circle around the galaxy about a supposed 'Super Saiyan', which piqued the interest of a certain Emperor.

This would lead to Turles coming face-to-face with Frieza, who would be at his mercy... and receive none. After disposing of Frieza and his father, Turles would claim Frieza's Empire for his own, destroying anyone who refused to comply and recognize him as the Emperor of the Universe. And when Turles would eventually pass to time, he'd be succeeded by someone far more dangerous. A monster, with no thought or remorse for anything, who had been built that way from a lifetime of pain and suffering. A man named Gohan.

This is a painful story... even for me. The amount of hatred in Turles' heart, and the idea that he would pollute the mind of a young boy; forging him into an unfeeling killing machine. It's horrifying. It's also why we must do better. To protect those we love, raise the ones we care about correctly, guide them on a path so that when they return, they'll not only impress us... they'll surpass us.
