Summary
It wasn't exactly honey and other mundane promises of sweet nothings that drew the child in. It was kindness. The child stopped his crying, a heart-wrenching ululation that sent shivers down his spine and made him tighten his hands into fists. The child's cry was so sad that it spoke of terrible loneliness and fear of abandonment.
In which Glorfindel finds himself fostering Maeglin and things aren't as easy as imagined.
