Description:

What it says on the tin. This is a series of scripts I hope to eventually make into comics. This AU is based on a post by @friendshiptothemax , which you can find at https://summerlimeismethebrony.tumblr.com/post/615046469912772608/friendshiptothemax-obviously-i-will-love (this link also includes some notes and outdated art by me).

I also borrow some vocabulary from Poetry's amazing series Daemorphing, with permission.

Notes:

Basics of AU is that there are five Andalite sexes, who can breed with any Andalite that isn't the same sex as them.

Information on individual sexes is subject to change, but at the time of writing this, it goes:

Chargers; Bigger, stronger, slower, low endurance, seen as dumb muscle, most of the military consists of this sex and runners
Known members; Gafinilan-Estrif-Valad, Gonrod-Isfall-Sonilli

Sprinters; Swift, typically weaker, very fast, low endurance, more prone to injury and infection, seen as support, discouraged from fighting on the front lines
Known members; Mertil-Iscar-Elmand, Aldrea-Iskillion-Falan, Aloth-Attamil-Gahar, Aldrea's unnamed propagator-parent

Strikers; Tail produces venom, smaller and juvenile-looking
Known members; Alloran-Semitur-Corrass, Arbat-Elivat-Estoni

Noise-makers; Possesses membrane-like structure similar to frog's vocal sac, makes noise, shorter thought-speak range, considered flighty, discouraged from military positions
Known members; Estrid-Corill-Darrath

Runners; Very high endurance, not particularly strong or fast, durable, most of the military consists of this sex and chargers
Known members; Aximili-Esgarrouth-Isthill, Elfangor-Sirinial-Shamtul, Noorlin-Sirinial-Cooraf (Elfangor's carrier-parent, Aximili's propagator-parent), Seerow-Iskillion-[schwescor unknown] (Aldrea's carrier-parent, Barafin's propagator-parent), Arbron (full name unknown)

EDIT July 2025: I'm considering rebooting this series. I've grown up a lot over the years since I started it, and though I still adore the concept and want to do it justice, I want to do so in a way that makes me enjoy it to the fullest; and I don't think another person's idea for a gender system will cut it anymore.
If/when I do rework it, the old stuff will stay up, and the new stuff will be posted as a new series, possibly on my psued. I hope people will like it, and give me feedback on it.
I love this project, and I want to keep loving it as I grow and mature.
