This gave me a chance to write all the characters a bit, so I know how to write them, and who I want to write more of. Also, I wanted to think about how they'd all answer to the same question.

If Grillby didn’t communicate verbally, then it had to be some sort of mental message, such as telepathy. It sounded like somewhat of a stretch to him, but it was currently the most prominent and suprisingly, logical of his theories. He’d never heard him utter a word, and that along with the fact that he didn’t care to bother studying the abilities of monster types that posed no threat to him, there was nothing disproving it.
“Eh, anything’s possible,” he mumbled to himself, shrugging.
