Florian freezes naught two feet inside the apartment. He melts under the harsh spotlight cast by Team Star's Fire-type expert. The best he can offer in rebuttal is an awkwardly Tyrantrum-scrunched wave.
"Mellie!"
Eri pulls one arm from Mela's neck to caress her cheek, which is speckled with black-and-blue lipstick prints. The Fire-type trainer's poise flickers.
"Don't be rude!" Eri tenses her jaw. "You know how much Florian means to B.B."
"Y-Yeah… Sorry, Eri."
