Summary
The King has retired, which means that Dinoco has got to find a new racer before the season begins.
He gets in disguise hoping not to draw too much attention to catch a few go karting races, and hopefully notice a driver that will become the next face of Dinoco.
And for some reason, Strip is also there? Many people say that Cal got the place because he had Strip to back him up. This story takes another route, showing how it would be like if Tex didn't know Cal raced.

Summary
Times have changed. Chick Hicks goes to the stadium for once to see a race. It's not something he gets to do a lot with his new work.
And he meets the King, for the first time since the wreck.
This sends them both into a slow reminescing time, thinking of how things were easier and calmer back then. And of how it was all thrown away during their times on the race, for forever.
Or is it?(Humanized)
Now it has a sequel (the next in the series)

Summary
Team Dinoco desperately needs a spotter for next race, which is rapidly approaching, and Strip, as the crew chief, is in charge of finding it.
Not knowing who to ask anymore, he gets Chick Hicks on the job.
While Chick is telling Cal what to do, his actions cause another car to crash.
Old wounds reopen, and Chick isn't seen on his show that night. Strip doesn't feel quite right about it and goes to look for him. This is a sequel to my other story 'New Times' (before in the series), but can be read as a standalone.

AKA when you're Italian and really want to eat some pasta but you can't so you write a story about it. Also there isn't enough of a healthy firendly relationship between these two.

There can't be another three-way tie at the end of the season, right?
They couldn't possibly play Rock Paper Scissors to see who wins, right?... You'd be surprised.
