Natasha gave a short, confused shake of her head. “He is?”
“Yeah. He is. And he decided to tell the little shit of a kid that he’s deaf.”
Natasha’s face changed halfway through processing the sentence then narrowed. “Oh god. Does that mean—?”
“Yes.” Tony’s voice was flat with the kind of tired that lodged in bones. “It means the kid has decided to be deaf today.”

Peter Parker realises Clint is partially deaf and decides to prepare himself for if he ever goes deaf by removing all of his auditory input. Tony is planning Clint's death.
