Summary
Sixty years after the island nation of Konoha was cut off from the outside world to deal with the Omega Collapse virus on their own, the government has only become more corrupt and authoritarian. Kakashi has been a part of that system for his entire adult life, having sold his soul in exchange for the clearance and resources needed to scour every black market omega operation in the country in search of his long-gone sensei's daughter. When she's dropped off at his doorstep one auspicious night, it starts a chain reaction that just may burn everything they've ever known down around them.

Summary
He’d become fixated, Kakashi decided as he withdrew, a little shaken by his inability to stop thinking about the physicality of his new specimen. Ten years of focused research would do that to anybody. The fixation would pass. It wasn’t as though he were suddenly going to become interested in matters of the flesh after centuries of disinterest, right? That he was having the sorts of thoughts he read about in those odd little novels about love and sex that he secretly enjoyed was a fluke. It was academic. He’d been researching sex magick for seven years, sustainable harvesting of kitsune for ten, kitsune in general for nearly seventy. He was just excited.

Summary
Kakashi had always just… known things. Things he shouldn’t. How old tools he’d never seen before worked and what they were for, the names of dishes he’d never encountered before, trivia about far-flung countries and politicians who’d died before he was born. Apparently, as a very young boy, he’d told foster parents about ‘sharks eating all his friends’ when ‘his boat got sunk on accident off Okinawa.’ Kushina had referred to it as his past life and attributed all his strange knowledge growing up to that; Minato had believed it was simply because he was smart, and smart kids were apt to absorb information like sponges and repeat it in the creepiest way possible.
He didn’t know. Sometimes he just looked at things and knew about them. He didn’t think it had to do with a past life, though, because it happened the first time he laid eyes on Naruto, too. The nurse had set her down in his arms, and he’d looked into her perfect face and known exactly what she was for.
She was for him.

Summary
“I’m not your fucking friend.” Sasuke had no recollection of deciding to move, but suddenly, he had a handful of Naruto's shirt and he’d dragged her halfway across the console. Her eyes were wide, her lips parted in surprise, and he wanted to fucking *hit her*. “I’m a *stranger*, idiot. I don’t care about you, and now I’ve got you in the middle of fucking nowhere.” He shoved her hard enough that she slammed against the door, immediately boxing herself out to face him, and before she could say anything, he pressed in a seething snarl, “I could be meaner to you. You realize that, don’t you?” He was scaring her; her breathing was fast and shallow, her eyes big and fixed on his face like she expected him to bite. He put the car in park and threw his weight over the console to get into her space, grabbing her hard by the skinny thigh when she tried to flinch away. “There’s *nobody around*, dumbass. I could do whatever I want to you. What would you even do about it?”

Summary
Unable to sleep for how her hunger hurt her, made her ache as her brain spiraled into confusion and fog, Naruto had seen him coming; the doorknob turning slowly—instantly causing her heart to pound in her chest so hard it hurt—a dark figure appearing in the doorway, a single red eye glowing in the darkness. He was tall, although not quite as tall as Orochimaru, and lean, silent as he moved across the floor. The objects in his hands glinted in the moonlight—a revolver with a long muzzle and what she thought must be a silver dagger—and she believed him to be looking at her, coming for her. Believed he would kill her and put her out of her misery. Truthfully, she was almost grateful. Terrified that Orochimaru was right, that there would be a day soon that Kabuto held that slave down on the table and she would be unable to stop herself from taking his blood from him by force. It was good that he was going to kill her, she thought even as the idea made her body quake with terror.
