It’s that time of year again. Not Christmas, Easter or Valentine's day. It was October, which meant pumpkins, scary stories and candy galore. Sounds great, right? Well, not for Hugo.
Everyone said moving to a brand new state, leaving all your friends and old life behind for some shitty, low class town was super fun, right? Well, clearly, they were wrong. Hugo hates it in Salem, Massachusetts. This town practically worshiped Halloween and everything about it like the old legends of witches and cursed cats. It seemed like the only good thing going for him was the cute guy in his class, but he clearly didn’t seem interested in Hugo in any way. It was going to be a dull Halloween.
But when his adoptive little brother makes him go trick-or-treating it leads to stumbling upon something much stranger than he ever expected. Now it's a race against time to try and stop a witch who’s been dead for centuries before she exacts her revenge on Salem and returns permanently.
