Summary
The original Remarried Empress webtoon is a hot mess with characters being horribly written so I want to fix that. Now I'm no writer so this will probably be garbage but that's okay! Here's how I plan to tweak the characters:
Rashta - She's young & exploited by everyone because of her status. I want to show her POV showing her mistreatment.
Sovieshu - He's an awful person but a good Emperor so I want to show his complexity. I don't plan on making him obsessed with Navier because he prioritizes his image and the Empire.
Navier - By showing more her faults and character growth, she'll be less of a Mary Sue. Rashta will influence her to focus on issues involving the commoners (*cough* slavery).
Heinrey - I dislike how his flaws are ignored and he's a bad king. He quickly falls for Navier, feeling forced. I want more of a slow-burn, enemies-to-lovers dynamic, maybe a marriage of convenience.
Kaufman - No more potion bullshit. I’m not sure yet what his role will be, but it won’t involve just simping for Navier.

Summary
After the events of the remarried empress, Heinrey and Navier seem to be having their happily ever after, they go on dates more frequently than they eat and they have three beautiful children together. Of course, there is nothing Heinrey loves more than his wife, and he doesn't regret marrying her, even when it meant giving up his plans for her. He is known as a just and peaceful emperor but most importantly, a loving father and husband. It has been seventeen years since Rashta's trial and even more since the divorce, yet Heinrey still has one thing in mind that doesn't let him sleep. That drive for power. He'd be lying if he said he doesn't lie to his wife... because he does, he has for the past seventeen years.
Sovieshu on the other hand has many regrets, and surprisingly it isn't his divorce with Navier, but rather to not have let go sooner.

Summary
It has been almost a decade since Navier’s life was turned upside down when her childhood friend and husband suddenly divorced her to marry his concubine. Fortunately, these events are no more than a distant memory, as Navier has been happily married ever since. She and Heinrey are busy raising their family and ruling the Western Empire.
In this story, Rashta has kept most of her past a secret. Her relationship with Alan has not come to light, no one knows that she misused Navier’s money, and Sovieshu never discovered the truth about Delise. Rashta’s daughter is Princess of the Eastern Empire.
Upon realizing that Navier would not come back to him, Sovieshu decided to avoid the scandal of becoming a twice-divorced Emperor, and he is still married to Rashta. They are raising their daughter together.
While Navier thrives in the West, the divorce is fresh in the minds of many in the Eastern Empire. Rashta and Sovieshu are unhappy together and resent each other. Sovieshu regrets losing Navier, while Rashta blames her old enemy for her current woes. During an especially humiliating occasion, Rashta vows to seek revenge on the woman who has made her life miserable. This time, Navier will not let it slide.
