“Hey, listeners,” Nicholas began the next night at the top of confession hour on Talk Too Much FM, voice smooth but a little thinner than usual. “If anyone remembers my old advice hour, I’ve been thinking lately that maybe I should’ve reversed it. I could really use some advice myself right now. There’s someone I’ve been trying to confess my feelings to, and every time I try, it’s like running headfirst into a wall.” He paused, trying to shake the image of disappointment he’d conjured onto Fuma’s face a dozen times. “I don’t know. That’s my confession for tonight, I guess.”
And so, the hour kicked off. The segment went smoothly, confessions ranging from “sometimes I pretend to be British to get better service,” to “I walked at graduation even though I didn’t actually finish my degree. My family still doesn’t know.”
Nicholas never claimed to be good at knowing what to say back to them. But that was the beauty of confession hour. The callers weren't asking for answers; they just didn’t want to live alone with the truth anymore. In a roundabout way, his own problem was the same.
Or, the five times Nicholas confesses to Fuma, and the one time Fuma confesses to him.

Jay opened his eyes out of frustration. Or maybe he opened his eyes just to open his mouth and scold the younger alpha who had bothered him three hours ago—but no words came out. With an incredulous sigh, Jay sat up and kicked the covers off himself, bracing himself mentally.
“We really need to fix that fucking alarm. I don’t think I can get up more than once in the middle of the night just to turn off that shitty thing…”
“Hyung. Please just go turn that shit off.”
Jay turned his head to scowl at Sunghoon, but the younger alpha could not have given less of a fuck. It was unfortunate, really—the fact that Jay had been woken up twice: the first time to play a cursed game of League of Legends with Sunghoon, and now again, forced to leave the warmth of his bed just to shut off that damn alarm in their dorm.
