Henry nodded as a response, mouth filled to the brim with about half a stack of pancakes. "Now get up, pal, we have class in ten minutes... you are paying for the bill, right...?"
"Mmoey!"
Joey barked a laugh as Henry shoved his pancakes into a styrofoam container. Even though the two were still in college, Joey had many, many hard to reach dreams for the future; dreams of being rich and happy; dreams of being famous; dreams of perhaps starting up an animation studio; dreams of being able to get Henry to pay for the bill when it wasn't his turn to pay for breakfast yet. He'd just needed to keep dreaming... so that his dreams became a reality.Series

Hey. This is youllallriseintheink of Tumblr, and I've written many stories for the BATIM fandom since I started in 2019. Many of them are shipping-related and too short to post here on their own. So, I decided that I'd start to share them here (maybe one day I'll get the longer, more ambitious stuff up separately, but that requires writing summaries).
Most of the content will be lighthearted in nature, but there's a few angsty ones in here, too. Some of the stories will take place in wild, out-there AUs, and some will basically follow canon. It will cover a very wide variety of ships, because I've shipped a whole lot of stuff over my time in the fandom and have taken a lot of requests.

Summary
Joey, tired of the Cycle experiment, decided to get more direct in getting what he wants. Due to certain factors, the denizens of the purgatory called the Ink Machine now deal with fallout of a ritual gone wrong. After all, there’s only one question to be answered: Who are we?
Even though the Story Cycle is no more, there is still trouble in the Ink Dimension - Monster attacks, people dying, the Ink Demon being sealed away due to madness, and the disappearance of the Prophet. As life seemingly begins to stabilize in the Lost Harbor settlement, Tom can't shake the feeling something is not quite right. Between dreaming of the recently deceased and the strange occurrenceS, Tom can't help but question what has happened and what is happening.
