Summary
A love story featuring The Dark Urge and Alfira.
He is a trained killer who wakes up with no memory, a book containing the oaths and tenets of a paladin order, and an inescapable urge to indulge in violence and depravity. Yet he craves that which is most forbidden to him—genuine love and affection.
She is a refugee bard looking for a knight in shining armor to inspire and protect her. In her eyes, he is a hero—but what will she do when she learns the truth of what he really is?
All That Could Have Been is a novelization of Baldur’s Gate 3, mainly from the point of view of the Dark Urge (Dirge). The story focuses on the psychological horror of Dirge discovering his past and trying to resist the urge as he descends deeper into madness, how Alfira’s faith in him becomes a catalyst for change, and his relationship with his crew as they try to save the world from illithid enslavement.
If you ever wished you could recruit and/or romance Alfira, this story is for you. I hope you enjoy my vision of how that might unfold!

Summary
Raphael, arguably the most accomplished player on the Lanceboard of Life, failed to anticipate that he would be unable to fully master the Crown of Karsus without Elynn, who channels the Karsite Weave better than him.
Having escaped from Raphael's manipulative clutches, she wants nothing more than a life with Astarion, who is mortal like her.Raphael has given her an ultimatum if she doesn't agree to stand by his side and help him realise his plans for world domination: She is to become queen alongside Raphael; otherwise, a city in Faerûn will be destroyed every new tenday.
Elynn knows she must challenge and defeat Raphael, but until the Githyanki forces arrive to help with the upcoming war, all there is to do is hope.
She knows that until then at least one city will fall.
Elynn must not give up, because if Raphael succeeds, mortals and gods alike will be damned. Elynn is hope personified. If she succumbs to his plan to make her immortal, the world's hope will be lost.
She doesn't have much time to prepare mentally, psychologically and magically for the fight of her life.
Fortunately, however, she is not alone. She has her companions and, perhaps soon, the support of the gods.Series

“Your ears…they're pointy,” you coughed weakly as you reached up and lightly touched one.
Their moist red lips slowly parted in surprise before breaking into a smile that didn’t reach their eyes. “Faerûn is on its’ knees and you’re worried about my ears? Think fast, darling. Damsels rescue themselves here.”

Summary
(part of a series but is a stand alone work - that's just to keep everything together)
Following Elorin the kind-hearted drow sorcerer through the events of Baldur's Gate 3 as he collects some extra companions. He's desperately trying to leave his past behind him, but it's hard when he's trying to save everyone - especially a deep gnome who knows the drow all too well, a drider he has far too much in common with, and a worshipper of pain he just can't get out of his head.

Summary
Abdirak and He Who Was find love enduring in the space between pleasure and pain, seasons, years, and decades passing as they share a bond that is not broken by the passage of time. But there is one truth that He Who Was has long been evading, the point at which their paths must diverge... When love is gone, what remains?
This is the finale of the Abdirak x He Who Was series, one that I've been planning and avoiding for some time because of the weight it carries...but it's something I intended since the third instalment. Every pain and penance will find its end, one way or another, and this is where we are now as we see how the relationship has affected both over their time together.
For the agony we are about to share here, Dear One...do not be afraid to cry out, to let Loviatar hear you to the very last echo~

Summary
His eyes shot open, just as the pod opened and he fell forwards, landing heavily on his front. On his back, he could still feel his warhammer, making him sigh in relief when he realized that he hadn’t been completely stripped of his gear. His hand moved to the locket that was underneath his armour, giving it a gentle squeeze, before pushing himself to his feet and moving forwards.
It was then that he spotted the masked figure standing by the pool that held the mindflayer tadpoles.

Summary
Of all the paths, in all the wilderness, in all of Faerûn, she had to stumble across his.
After escaping the crashed mind flayer vessel, Kiera, a wood elf ranger, and her newfound companions/fellow abductees are in a race against time to find a solution to their parasites that won't result in their bodies and souls being ripped apart to give gruesome birth to new mind flayers. Unfortunately, it becomes evident early in their journey that it won't be as simple as they thought, and they seem destined to play the largest role in defeating the evil trying to conquer their world.
And Kiera has to contend with the fact she fell in love at first sight with possibly the most dangerous of their companions, the pale vampire spawn Astarion, who has his own dark history of torture, distrust, and pain. Then they save the Archdruid Halsin from his cage and... damn... Destiny has a hilarious sense of humour, introducing her to two of her life-mates when they're facing a world ending crisis.
A novelisation of my first playthrough.

Summary
A short series of 10 x 100 word drabbles, exploring the growing relationship between Abdirak and He Who Was as the pair meet whenever they can. The first five are from Abdirak's POV, and the second five from He Who Was.
I'm still obsessed with them, your honour~
(AO3 is telling me 1,002 words total but I checked multiple times there's only 100 words in each part and we cannot work out where the extra 2 are coming from)

Summary
Astarion was nothing more than a con artist. Just like she was. And she could respect that. It was fun to play pretend every so often. Angel was no stranger to that sort of life. She actually couldn’t even remember the last time she’d had a genuine moment with anyone. It had been so many years that she couldn’t even remember if she’d liked it or not.
But probably not.
Astarion had been hoping for a kind soul, someone stupid and simple and sweet who he could manipulate and use for his own ends, someone who would be a little toy he could play with until he grew bored or until he got whatever it was that he wanted. What a pity that he had stumbled upon Angel instead. -

Summary
Cazador is being extremely cagey about this new job he's picked up for his prized cash cow, Astarion. Astarion just wishes Cazador would explain what it's about, what they're doing here, and why the drow he's going to be working with has to be so damned handsome. And why the drow has to feel so familiar, so comforting, so right.
In which Astarion gets a role he didn't expect and everything that unspools from that single little twist of fate changes his life for the better.
Once he gets past the pain, anyway.Series

Summary
“Seems I’ve touched a nerve,” Astarion crosses his arms, shifting his weight to the side and smirking- not quite the reaction you had expected. The sight of him standing there, almost taunting you with that deadly crooked smile sends a sudden thrill through you. Hate and longing rolled into one confusing, tangled-up mess.
You snap, face tight, “No. You have not.”
Liar.
His head tilts forward just a bit, the orange glow of the fireplace highlighting his cheekbones and illuminating his eyes, “Hm. Maybe I should try harder. I’m bound to touch the right one eventually.”
Astarion rubs you the wrong way, in every sense of the phrase. So why can't you stay away?
You're a druid who can't wild shape, an outcast from your circle. After a mindflayer ship kidnapped you from Rivengton, a small town outside the bridge to Baldur's Gate, you find yourself the unqualified and reluctant leader of a small group of weirdos- united by one common goal: Getting these damn tadpoles out of your heads. Easy right?
Until you find yourself in a love/hate (emphasis on hate) relationship with a white-haired vampire.
