The Hero of Time, retired from his adventures (or so he thought), creates a new song on the Ocarina of Time, thinking it was harmless enough. Unfortunately for him, the notes were imbued with potent magic from the sacred instrument, causing the notes to fling him far away from his own timeline. Hurled into a mysterious ocean, he washes up half-drowned upon the shore of a little island.
Aryl finds this stranger and decides to help him. Why does he look so much like her Big Brother? Why is he speaking a language she's only heard before when Old Man Sturgeon curses or reads from ancient books?
