~COMPLETE 8/22/21~
Shepard is hurt and frustrated that Liara has been increasingly distant after the fall of Thessia. She goes after Kai Leng without her, and ends up injured. Their feelings come to a head in the aftermath, along with the reasoning behind Liara's isolation, and it's not what Shepard expects. Initial angst but very emotional and smutty resolution. Includes telepathic bond/meld.
My Shepard's name is Astraea, and she's an Adept, Paragon, Earthborn, sole survivor.

The band mentioned in this fic is Foals, and the two songs I use are "Milk and Black Spiders" and "After Glow" if you'd like to queue them up for when that part of the fic is reached! The title of this fic is taken from a lyric in "Milk and Black Spiders".
