It was green, reptilian, with a huge tattered fin running the length of its spine. In its jaws it held a mass of raw meat with eyes as blue as the sky, as blue as the sea.

Phastos went to the mouth of the cave. Darkness had fallen. He waved the torch until he heard the whinny of the horses. Phastos entered the coach and it pulled away. He looked back to see Merlin standing just inside the Chrystal Cave. The light from his staff created a great light that illuminated the cave and spilled out of the entrance. Slowly the rocks began to shift and extinguish the light from within until darkness overcame the light.

Some time after the failed Emergence there have been new signs of Deviant activity on earth and the Eternals, given another chance by Arishem, take up what they originally believed to be their natural mission again.
Until something goes wrong and a Deviant attack hits one of them harder than they originally assumed.
In an attempt to avoid the worst, the group has to face the past, Sprite gets confronted with the consequences of being truly human and Ikaris gets a chance to prove himself again. (no guarantee that will work our though)I really love this story and hope to continue it but in the middle (literally) of writing the next chapter my computer decided to crash and shred all my notes and pre written scenes. That is, to put it simple, very much demotivating and it destroyed a lot of stuff I had planned out. I don't know how long it will take me to rewrite this. I don't know if I want right now. Maybe after watching the movie again, idk. Just as a small information in case anyone is wondering/waiting.

The trajectory of the year only continues to change the longer she knows him, but maybe that's not a bad thing.
