“I have a proposal for you,” Janet says.
Bruce eyes her warily. “I’m listening.”
“You spent years pretending to be an alpha,” says Janet. “There are countless people who want to lay claim to Bruce Wayne—or more specifically, Thomas and Martha Wayne’s son. There are already alphas lining up to take you as their mate, and they have plans for you, Bruce. You’re up for sale, whether you want to be or not.”
Bruce tenses, his eyes flicking away. No doubt the guards have been less than discreet about some of the alphas pushing for Bruce to be theirs. Bruce may be an omega, but he isn’t a fool. Technically, the omega has the legal right not to be mated without their consent. Janet knows for a fact that the law will turn a blind eye to what happens if their cut of Bruce’s fortune is high enough.
“You want a way out,” Janet says. “Jack and I want a son.”
