Dazai sighs. “And there you go with the half-truths again, and it’s almost the exact same one I just spelled out. You do genuinely believe that joining the port mafia is better than death. If you truly viewed those as your only options you wouldn’t hesitate to join us. You’d hate it but, well, that’s beside the point.” Dazai leans down, a dark gleam in his eye, Something less alive, more twisted living there than when he was fifteen.
“The problem is that is never going to be your only choice, is it? The second you have your ability back and even a morsel of freedom your escape would be practically guaranteed. No, the only way I can let you out is if you want to join the port mafia.”
“Yeah, and how do you suppose you’re going to do that?”
“Mental conditioning,” Dazai says bluntly.

So why did Chuuya begin to suspect that he didn’t just hate him… Or that maybe he didn’t hate him at all? Every night they spent together, dancing at bars or listening to music on the rooftop made him more and more sure that it had always been something more.

Summary
Dazai bit down on his tongue so hard that tears pricked in his eyes. He wanted to be mad. He wanted to be fucking furious. Dazai wanted nothing more than to throw the note away. To burn it. To rip it to shreds along with Chuuya’s writing. But the three words on the bottom of the page kept Dazai’s eye glued to the page.

В этой вселенной он не работает на организацию, а лишь служит красивым украшением в коллекции жестокого и беспощадного босса Портовой Мафии. Как достичь чего-то в мире, где омеги считаются существами второго сорта, и если никто не воспринимает тебя всерьёз? Задачка как раз для Осаму. Возможно, ему удастся развеять скуку и найти смысл существования именно здесь?
В работе описываются две вселенные: наша и омегаверс.

Шипп Акутагавы и Ацуши из мира Омегаверса будет ближе к концу фф.
В данной работе я намеренно поменяла местами имя и фамилию персонажа "Мори Огай" в Омегаверс вселенной. К слову, прототипа персонажа звали Мори Ринтаро, Огай — творческий псевдоним, но фамилия Огай тоже существует. Я сделала это потому, что Дазай, став мужем Мори, должен носить его фамилию, но мне не нравится, как звучит "Мори Осаму", поэтому он — "Огай Осаму".
