The Necronomicon is successful, but not at the same time, and Angie and Tenko aren't killed by Korekiyo. Kokichi doesn't have any plans to end the killing game alone yet, and he might not have a chance because of what he got himself into. He might as well fall behind Kaede to make sure a certain someone stays intact.
