Harry Potter was many things. He was a powerful wizard, the master of death, a powerful Auror, a problem-solver....sort of😅, and above all he was someone who craved family. He wanted a family that would love him for him and above all would not be FAKE! He had a good life...mostly after all that trash with Voldemort and the war but still he craved a new life where he could be loved and do what he wanted.
He though the whole master of death thing was just a fancy title....yeah it wasn't😬🫣.It just didn't mean what he thought it did which was apparently reincarnation after a long as hell Wizarding life and being reborn into an immortal species! Not only that, he just so happened to be reborn as a character from a book he read as a kid that was on their way to being hated and tortured AGAIN.
Yeah no.
Harry Potter now Maeglin Lomion was not about to deal with a prissy princess, naive cowards, royal drama, psycho Demigods, crazy relatives, bigoted relatives, and FATE!
He's gonna lead his own life this time and no ones gonna stop him!

Finrod finds himself forced to navigate his ferocious and unhinged younger brother with extreme caution, plunging even his own safety into uncertainty. Aegnor finds himself faced with an agonising decition, one that will rip his entire being asunder. How the younger sons of Finarfin entered the mythology as Fëanorians, and that alignment (distinguishing them from Finrod) seemed a bit hard to shake off.
Including a brief tangent on why I am attracted to the headcanon of Gil-galad as son of Finrod Felagund. :)

Summary
Winter has reached Dorthonion. The knee-deep snow swallowed all sound, leaving the land quiet and seemingly desolate. Aegnor pitied his horse as it trudged through the snow and got off its back. His elven feet only sank a few centimetres into the snow and his horse snorted, as if complaining he had ridden it when he could just walk. Aegnor patted the mare’s neck and reached into the bag slung over his shoulders. The carrot was cold, but not yet frozen. Appeased, the mare munched on the carrot when Aegnor grabbed the reins.

Ignoring the people, Aegnor rode to the heart of the stronghold, where Baran lived. An impatient figure was waiting already. Andreth was wrapped in a thick cloak and her cheeks and nose were rosy from the cold air. Aegnor got down from his mare and stopped in front of Andreth.
“I almost thought you would not come.”, she confessed and his heart ached sweetly. His eyes never left hers.
---After an invitation from Andreth, Aegnor travells to Baran's stronghold to visit the winter market with her. Unexpectedly, feelings he had never planned on revealing find their way into the light.

For all Tolkien's changes to his family trees, one thing remains the same - Fëanor is the only son of Finwë without a daughter.
What if that changed?
Meet Lórefindë Nartissë - she's a linguist, the baby of a very big family, possessed of an unfortunate temper, and has a tendency to start fights (then gleefully watch her brothers finish them).
She's also recently been married to Oropher, great-nephew of Thingol through his father Galadhon. Or, rather, eloped with him.
Without the consent of either of their families, but that's irrelevant, and also kind of how elopement works anyway. By this point they're all grudgingly getting along because there's no way to undo a marriage between two elves who want to stay married.
The point is, Oropher now has to keep straight all of his wife's family. He never had any problems like this before - his own family consists of less than a dozen people, while the Finwëans are notoriously...numerous.
Here is a glimpse into one attempt at this.
