Summary
For millennia, [𝙵𝚒𝚛𝚜𝚝 𝙽𝚊𝚖𝚎] has walked the Earth; an immortal warrior, the sole undying being to walk its soil. Forever unchanged while the world around them withers and renews. Empires have risen and fallen. Civilizations have thrived and crumbled into ash in their exploration. As time passed, they strayed to search for purpose and answers for their existence, discovering hidden realms, forgotten lands, and the darker truths buried within humanity. Immortality has proven to be a gift and a curse. Every bond they form eventually vanishes, leaving them with nothing but memory and silence. Regardless, it also gave them a rare perspective, an opportunity to use their knowledge and experience to shape the world. This goal was enough to make them feel truly alive. Or was it? The deeper they wandered into the world’s chaos, the more monstrous it became, finding themselves trapped in a lose-lose dilemma: damned if they acted, damned if they didn't. Slowly, they were losing their humanity, the one thing close enough to be a human, losing hope that salvation could ever be found. Until a single man changed everything: Goku. A miracle was out of reach with him, but [𝙵𝚒𝚛𝚜𝚝 𝙽𝚊𝚖𝚎] may have unknowingly condemned their faith.

Summary
A one shot that goes back and forth from past to present to reveal different details of the scenario.
Reader befriended Android 16 during the Cell games and was crushed at his death. Later, during the events of Dragon Ball FighterZ, he returns. He doesn't retain all his memories, but he remembers her. Now, it's time for the Reader to recall their bittersweet reunion.
(This is not connected to my "Teardrops" series, because we need Android 16 alive in this universe.)
