He grabbed his own hair, looking as if he was going to pull it out. “I can’t even tell my own sister my deepest darkest secret out in the middle of frozen nowhere without some random girl with wolf ears overhearing!” He stalked away from the group, about ten meters from the mech, growling in frustration.
Lloyd kicked a random piece of ice. “First that bird,” he stomped on the ground, sending a small shockwave through the nearby area. “Then my stupid wing,” his eyes turned purple. “Then that fucking rock monster,” he fired off destruction in a random direction. “And now a wolf girl!" There was an explosion in the distance. "How can this day get any worse!?” In what seemed like divine intervention, they were hit by a blizzard.
It was silent for a moment before Lloyd let out a wordless, rage-filled scream.

Lloyd’s eyes were wild, his hands glowing a violent purple, and his wings beat hard so he could reach his target faster. His horns sprouted from his head, and leathery black skin overtook his body. He only took a few seconds to reach her, a single-minded hatred clouded his senses, and all he could think about was tearing her apart.
Just as he got there, just as he was about to rake his claws through her throat, he suddenly stopped. Harumi smirked at him, and it slowly grew into a villainous cackle as Lloyd struggled against an invisible force. “What…?” Lloyd muttered, the shock immediately dissipating the anger.

The Ninja leaped soundlessly onto the courtyard tiles, straining his senses for danger. He couldn’t hear anything except the breeze and quiet snores from the Monastery. He saw nothing out of the ordinary.
Adrenaline flowing, Lloyd opened the gate.
