Summary
In which Marc Spector, who is definitely not selfish, wants Steven to have his own body.
Steven gets to live his own life then, after all - explore all the things he wants to do without Marc being in the way.
...That it also makes Steven real, able to be pulled into more of those wonderful hugs they've shared in the Duat (and to be looked at without the need of close-by reflections, with Marc possibly getting the chance to even touch him, smell him, feel him) is just a neat little side-effect of the whole thing.
