“You hear me, plastic asshole?” Hank asked. Connor tilted his head at the approaching lieutenant. He didn't look the least bit intimidated.
“Hank…” Fowler warned. He was on his feet now, trying to decide whether he should step in or not.
“I don’t like you," Hank continued, ignoring his boss and getting in the android's face. "Any of you. If it were up to me, I would round all you plastics up, throw you in a dumpster, and light the match!”
The grin on Connor's face widened. His eyes searched Hank with a morbid fascination.
“Well, what do you know, Lieutenant,” the Deviant Hunter said. “We have something in common after all…”
After the Android Revolution in 2036, Jericho became its own, separate city that floats in the river and borders Detroit. Reintegration with humans is slow but both sides are optimistic in its success.
Especially Markus, who can just send out his loyal and legendary Deviant Hunter to take care of any androids that aren't compliant with his peaceful ways.
...Or use him to team up with a washed-up Lieutenant Anderson to investigate android disappearances in Detroit when the FBI seemingly 'forgot' to inform Jericho of the problem.

“I mean it, Gavin,” Hank said. “If Price even looks at you funny, if he gives you any shit—” he took a step closer to Gavin to make sure that the younger man was listening “—you come to me immediately. Do you understand?”
Gavin didn’t answer. He began to fidget considerably by Hank's proximity, but it didn’t seem to be from anger. It was almost as if he was getting upset.
He hadn’t looked over at Hank since he started talking to him directly. Chris and Connor exchanged glances. Connor’s interest was more than piqued. Hank was acting odd. Almost… protective? Was that the word? Protective over Gavin?
“Gavin?” Hank called again and Gavin’s attention finally snapped to the acting captain.
“Yes. Hank. I understand.”
An accident at a neighboring precinct has two departments sharing office space, but Gavin and Hank have murderous beef with the guest lieutenant and Connor is determined to find out why.

Sometimes Hank resented Cyberlife for emotionally fucking up a perfectly good android; Connor deserves better than this.

The government had forged a contract with CyberLife to stop continued production of androids until further notice, and to free any androids in their possession. What this contract meant for the D.P.D,unfortunately, was that they were suddenly assigned three failed prototypes of the RK series.

Several months after Markus' peaceful revolution, Hank's pretty happy with the new track his life appears to be embarking on. Having distanced himself somewhat from seeking comfort in cool gunmetal against his temple, he readies himself to help his best friend settle into person-hood, just as a brand new world is born out of the young man's choices.
Things go well for the two of them - Connor is like a gift that keeps on giving, Jericho is thriving, Hank's career is starting to crawl back out of the chasm he dug himself into years ago, and now a thought to have been lost treasure suddenly bursts back into his life.
Nothing will return Cole back to him, but maybe he can still amend his biggest mistake, and have a real family again.

For three months, things seemed to be improving. The end of the revolution had brought about the declaration that androids were living beings--a new intelligent species, as President Warren had put it--and the team at Jericho had been pulled into the world of politics, fighting for the rights of their people through words and appeals to people who couldn’t possibly understand what they’d been through. But they had listened, somehow, and promised changes, and slowly things began to turn. As a whole, androids had hope for their eventual place in society.
And then, in two days, everything stopped.
With deviancy now considered a malfunction once again, deviant androids are either destroyed or, if they're worth it, repaired. Connor, being CyberLife's most advanced and expensive prototype, is in the latter group, and is sent back to the DPD as an example of CyberLife's success in ending deviancy once and for all. Only the reset didn't work quite as well as CyberLife intended, and Connor's life--and those of the other androids that have survived--depends on how well he can keep up the act of being the Deviant Hunter once again.
