The phone call shook Dante awake from his half-asleep consciousness. He practically dove for the phone and put it to his ear, desperate for a mission. “Devil May Cry,” he sang. The other line was silent, but he could hear heavy breathing. After what felt like an hour, he heard the voice. “PlEAse!” He sat up straight. Something was entirely wrong here. The first thing he noted in the voice was that it was distorted. He could barely understand what it said.
“Hello? What’s wrong?” He tried asking the voice. “ForTUna,” it spoke again, and this time he could make out a female voice. “He’s nOT okay! HeLP uS!” The line ended, and Dante started yelling into the phone. “Hello? Hello! What’s wrong!”

Or Dante gets a strange and concering phone call from Fortuna three years after the 'Savior Incident' and decides to investigate. He runs into Vergil, who is heading to Fortuna for a different reason. Shit goes down.

Estrella and the others rescued their friends. They escaped with their lives and almost seem to have forgotten the real issue they’re facing. As they celebrate and regroup, their enemy is waking. But any demigod old enough and strong enough to help is either in their camps or has secrets that only create more danger for her. Gambling on her instincts and the raw potential that pulls her close to them Taelor seeks out the other 2 main characters of this story. Together Nick, Nike and Taelor team up and learn to control their demigod powers together while aiming to stop The Rivers of The Underworld from wreaking untold havoc on the living world.
