Summary
“Help me? Help me?” Hans snorted. “The last thing that would help me right now, my dear, is the presence of a wench in my camp. Haven’t you got some clothes to mend or something? Please, run along.” He turned over angrily in the pile of leaves, crossing his arms with a huff, causing crunches and crinkles to sound.
But he heard no footfalls to indicate her departure.
“Hans Capon. I can help you.” She said again, starting to sound more firm now.
A chill ran down Hans’s spine.
Set during the KCD2 divorce era.
After leaving Henry at the stocks in Troskowitz, Hans Capon takes to the woods and tries to get his shit together.
Only, it's a rough go, and Apollonia has other plans.
Will Henry save him this time? Or is nobody coming to save him?
No spoilers for KCD2 really, just some good, clean(?) fun in the woods... and at the Troskowitz tavern... with our favorite little lordling.

Henry swallowed, his eyes fixed on hers, a heat building there steadily in their shared gaze. “I don’t know about that,” he said, his voice thick. “I’m no angel. But I know how you feel. I know loss. I’ve felt it too, just like you.”
Wandering the Trosky region missing Mutt, Pebbles, (and a certain lord...) is getting Henry down. So when presented with a group of women in need of help, how can he refuse? It might be just what he needs to turn his rotten luck around.
