A pretty self indulgent Tanya fic where her male second in command survived alongside her and she kind of keeps him around as a sort of pet, takes place before the events of LoR and Tanya is never contacted by the Blue Hobo.
Don't really know where I'd take the story from here, but wanted to get it out before Canto 5 ended, and I want more information on the Middle.
I'd probably space out the exposition and clarify the OCs job in the middle.
Anyways, I always thought the Blue man group needed more fics about them as well as more canon apparances, and Tanya was the easiest for me to do, although it's likely to become outdated the quickest due to the Middle appearing in Limbus. -

One shouldn't give it to someone they hate. But this? It's just a pit stop in some lifeless alley of a night spent at a pub. Someplace to spend their overflowing anger. A fleeting thing that will vanish before dawn breaks. There's a chance either of them will die tonight; these could be their last hours.
Who would mourn Argalia—other than the dwindling band of acolytes he pulled in, ignoring their goals to the bone and sacrificing their dreams so that the Light could reach him? Who would mourn Roland—other than the ghost of a dead wife who appears only in his sleep, forcing him to endure?
All the things Roland desires the most in this world are ones he shouldn't want: revenge, warmth, solace. Something as basic as this might bring some solace to him; if nothing else, then the pleasure of his touch might overpower his hatred for a mere minute.
"I fucking hate you." It comes out of Roland too hushed, almost soft.
Argalia buttons up his own pants. No words of rebuke, no more snide comments; for the first time ever since the beginning of their duel, that wretched smile seems to have fallen from his lips.
"I know."
Roland copes with a fight.

With a war on the horizon and invisible turmoil breaking his heart, Argalia does what he can. For what purpose? To unlock his heart, get revenge, or to stop this new, energy-creating Wing in the shadows from spiralling the City into an even deeper hell. Even when you can read a heart and a person as easily as Argalia, diplomacy can't solve every issue, and the Color-in-making is forced to see that some people are too desperate, insane, or stupid to be reasoned with.
In the end, he can only hope he can find some connection in all this muddied chaos-- even with a wing going for his head.

The first thing Roland feels when he wakes up is warmth around his groin and the gradual stirring of pleasure in his abdomen.
All-too familiar is smelling soap, sweat, and cologne; an intoxicating yet overwhelming fragrance this early in the morning, but nonetheless enticing. The scent is sickening sweet—as if it is being poured into his olfactory nerves—until it ebbs into more manageable ripples of tingling and full body shudders; it does little to ground Roland into reality, nor does it prevent him from straining his ears for the distinct slick sounds of something shifting against his cock and the shallow pants of someone jerking off.
Bleary eyes blink back sleep, the colors and hues of the early morning making everything appear unfocused with saturation bleeding into soft muted pastel before they sharpen into attention.
