“Gimme a little smile,” Boothill yelled, his face filled with wild enthusiasm. His mouth was wide open, showing an array of spikey teeth, his eyes wrinkling in ecstasy. His hair was flying into his face, in a messy but gorgeous way, his entire body glowing silver in the moonlight. Argenti admired the way he looked at that moment, glistening with happiness, a stark contrast to his moody and distant behavior. In that moment, Boohill seemed almost to be a little kid.
“You look like one of those stars,” Argenti replied, bending over precariously and tucking a piece of hair behind his companion’s ear. “Maybe I should throw you up there to fly with all the others.”

Love like that was bound to end in only two ways; crashing and burning, or in never-ending grief. Boothill could never understand why someone would want to put themselves, or someone else through that. After losing his family, love was just something that he accepted he would never feel again.
But Argenti.
He makes it easy to love, to dust off that emotion he was so scared he had lost.
Loving him? That might be the easiest thing Boothill has ever done.
Boothill loves Argenti. For a moment, that’s all he needs.
Boothill doesn't know how to open up. Argenti holds his hand through it anyway.

White hair. His sensors beeped, locking onto the hair color. White hair…Sugilite? Opal? His mouth fell open as he got closer, thoughts of bloodshed completely leaving his mind. The white hair didn’t belong to any IPC member. It belonged to a small child, who was all by himself. Boothill swiveled his head around but there was nobody in sight that looked like they could be the child’s parents. What’s this kid doing here all alone?

Argenti was no closer to remembering what exactly he was supposed to be doing in Penacony. It had something to do with the Beauty, most certainly. But it was lost to him at the moment. “Excuse me, mister?” A small child’s voice distracted him from his thoughts. Argenti looked down to see a black haired boy trying to tug on his hard armor to no avail. “You seem sad, is there something wrong?”
